The game takes place at the beginning of Harry & Co.'s 7th year at Hogwarts. We're following what happened in the books, and adding this backstory to bring us up to date.

To make a long story short...
There are three communities for Action Posts: at_hogwarts, at_hogsmeade, and at_diagon_alley.

Owls to other characters, posters in the Common Rooms or up around Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, and flyers passed out should be posted in the at_owlsandnews Community. This community will also include newspaper articles from at_articles. (The articles will be both written by the Mods and submitted by players.)

Journal entries should be posted in each character's journal, and the information there is to be considered public knowledge and available to comment on--unless notated by an lj-cut or other distinct markings.

This game is slash-friendly. This (hopefully) doesn't mean that EVERY male character will be gay or EVERY female character will be gay. We're looking for a happy medium.
