After Oh Mal-Soon (Kim Hae-Sook) lost her husband at a young age, she raised her children by herself and also ran a small restaurant. She is now in her 70's. One day, she has an argument with her daughter Ji-Sook and leaves home. Something happens at this time that causes her physical appearance to revert back to when she was in her 20's. Taking advantage of her youthful appearance, she begins using the name Oh Doo-Ri (Jung Ji-So) and decides to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. A dream that went unfulfilled when she was in her 20's. Oh Doo-Ri then joins Unis Entertainment as an idol trainee. There, she meets Daniel Han (Jin Young). He was once the leader of a popular idol group and he is now the chief producer of Unis Entertainment. He is a genius planner, who does everything from composing to producing to creating album concepts. His life goes by smoothly as he has achieved success in his career, but his life becomes shaken after he meets Oh Doo-Ri.
Meanwhile, Oh Mal-Soon’s granddaughter Choi Ha-Na (Chae Won-Bin) is a smart high school student, who always ranks first academically at her school. To purse her dream of becoming a singer, she gives up taking her university entrance exam and joins Unis Entertainment as an idol trainee.

Be ky Jan 28 2025 5:31 pm I love Jinyoung in anything, so this was a delight to watch. He is just sooo handsome..... I wasn't expecting them to change the ending to be different from miss granny, but I was glad they did. I was bracing myself because I really thought she'd go back to being old with hot grandpa but NO! Who'd choose him over Jinyoung anyway? Noone, obviously, so it only made sense to change it. Didn't really understand the end scene in the cafe but who cares, not me. it's a kdrama! I'll take it. Let them have a happy ending!! Haters gonna hate but I liked it, just go watch miss granny instead if you want the ending that "makes sense" and you expected. This was different and I had fun.

Olya150 Jan 24 2025 8:31 am Just finished watching this. I think overall,I liked the drama and plot,main actress (Jung Jiso) was amazing in her physical comedy as an old woman in a younger body. Ever since The glory I really wanted to see more of her.
I would say,I was highly disappointed in the ending. In my eyes,it didn't make sense how it went. It also feels like the moral of the story was bad. Small SPOILER alert - in the last episode she asks if there is room for her in society as an old person,I believe that yes she does have a space,especially that through the show she fixed her relationship with her daughter but then still,she chose to stay young? And she was supposed to die after 6 months but then we see "her" again after a year? It felt very incomplete and rushed in a way. I also kind of hated that she never gave Mr park a proper chance. This lovely man has loved her since they were young and kept by her side even after she had a child with someone else. But instead of doing that the story went to a new guy that I felt like they didn't even have that much in common.

Did she live in a cave without seeing or hearing anything around her? She remained stuck fifty years ago, although she lives with a teenager who loves modern music. Another drama was lost for me.

Plot Change? Dec 19 2024 5:04 am Even with only 2 episodes out so far, it's already clear that a lot of the elements of the OG story have been changed. Major of which is the "rewind" concept. The OG story's MC experienced a "rewind" back to her youth without leaving the timeline. This remake/reimagination utilizes the old "Body-Switch" trope instead. It seems they plan to give the "old face" as much screen time as the "new face", hence this turn of events. I just hope it won't fall to the same cliché as the "Body-Switch" pioneers have done, i.e., "pretend to be me while I pretend to be you" agreement. I mean, Secret Garden already did that. Please show us something new; something that would make us stay tuned despite the plot deviation.
