Plot
Cancer patient Soo-Hyun (Chae Min-Seo) receives a gift from her sister Ji-Hyun (Yoo-Sun). The box contains a long silky black wig. Soo-Hyun, impressed with the wig, tries it on slowly. Soo-Hyun then looks at herself in the mirror. She is suddenly transformed into a woman full of life and a mysterious power seems to come over her. Meanwhile, sister Ji-Hyun feels unease about her sister's sudden recovery.

motorradhermes Mar 21 2018 11:06 am I did not enjoy this movie as much as I would of liked to. There were a lot of "what the f**k is going on" moments I had while watching...And that isn't a good thing. In relation to the plot it was quite weak and disappointing.
As for the horror aspect it too was mediocre. At no point did I feel any fear for the characters nor did any scene startle me. If anything it was more creepy than scary, but even then the creepy factor was minimal.
Possibly the only interesting part of the movie were the characters. You get a terminally ill cancer patient, a mute older sister, and a art teacher.
Overall, the movie was unnecessarily long, weak plot, not scary, somewhat creepy, had an interesting mix of characters, and weak conclusion to the movie. I give "The Wig" a score of 4/10.
