An Mar 22 2023 11:13 am The drama could have been a 2-hour movie. The premise is interesting. I actually just saw this drama because of Kim Myung Min. I love him. However, this drama drags for a simple plot. So I only saw the first episode, and I just fast-forwarded to the last four episodes.

The first 11 episodes were a very long introduction and things didn't start to move till episode 12. Super natural elements were scuffed af and cartoonish, might as well just remove the "reaper" guys and keep it as unexplained miracle for a better poetic angle. I also wanted to see more of the second Hyun Cheol, it would be interesting to have some interactions between both Hyun Cheols.
Wonderful Sep 03 2022 11:14 am I can say that Kim Myung Min did really great acting here. He have to act two personality here. Being serious and being funny too. His aura during serious personality is really cool even I hate the first Song Hyun Cheol treat his wife badly. I love him when he portrayed himself as funny Song Hyun Cheol. Two character in one body is not easy to portrayed but he did his best. I love the ending. No one dies. This drama is full of mix emotion.

The performance of all actors was very good, especially the three main actors, Kim Myung Min, Kim Hyun Joo, Ra Mi Ran.

soom Jul 31 2021 9:40 pm Off-beat, some strange plot twists, but over all great acting from a cast of dozens of highly respected Korean actors. You empathize with all the characters even when they seem at odds with each other. It's all about personal relationships, problem solving, growth of character and maturity, a few oddly tied-up loose ends but really satisfying if you like character studies. Your heart will break a few times at the adversies thrown at the major players, but well worth it for the richness of plot and dialog.

So impressed with such a very complex and unique story that was presented with continuity, and no confusion. It says a great deal for the writing, the script, the directing.
The casting was superb, and every episode was packed with brilliance! This drama was epic in calibre ... extra special.

If ever anyone want a second chance in life, correcting your wrongs in your previous life n be a better person, this is the drama to watch. KMM is superb in his acting, so restrained yet able to convey the emotions well. I was reluctant to watch this at first b/c the cast aren't pretty (except Kai n goddess KHJ of course), but I'm so glad I changed my mind

And then feeling familiar with Banker SHC's face, and he was playing role in detective K film series and i love those film. And finally watching this drama for the fourth time, and being so sad and crying at the same sad scenes.

Veeveevee Mar 07 2020 11:58 am Thankful to God how I was finally able to watch this series after several delays. It was definitely a bumpy ride before the finale but I wouldn't have it any other way.
The cast's acting was superb, especially Kim Myung Min who gave life to three different characters. Yes, three.He was Song Hyun Chul the banker, the chef, and the mix of both. I don't understand why some viewers say he's only just the chef when the series has clearly shown that the SHC who came back alive was a different person from the banker and the chef as he has retained the memories and personalities of both.
The writer surely has made a very great script. I've pretty much questioned my morals and values in some episodes as I found myself being a Team Hye Jin but good thing the writing has made it easier for me to realize that the third HC's love for her has been rooted from the love that the banker HC had for her that was just masked by his indifference towards her. Perhaps they've gone through so much as a couple that he thought their relationship is already beyond repair, hence he'd rather show her who's dominant in the relationship which definitely killed their love rather than save it.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the ending, even with Ato and the other deity's dancing scene that came out of nowhere. I'm still fine with it.
Thank you soooo much writer-nim and the cast and crew for this very enjoyable journey. This series is definitely at the top of my kdrama list.

Nadd Aug 26 2019 12:46 am This cast was wonderful and the drama was wholesome. Kim Youndmin's acting was particularly impeccable. I laughed, I cried and was always on my toes. Everything was well thought out. However, the ending felt like suddenly running out of hot water while taking a shower, the reason being that this drama took the time to slowly build up the relationship between Hyejin and Hyunchul only to tear it all down in the finale. I would have much appreciated it if one more episode was dedicated to the revival of this relationship, because the change in Hyunchuls behavior was too sudden for Hyejin to be moved—she was even suspecting his kindness to have an ulterior motive. Her frozen heart needed time to soften up and for someone like me who enjoyed the progression, wraping their relationship in half the episode was a major turn off.

Some k-drama start with a good storyline, but many people didnt't satisfied with the ending. But The Miracle We Met?? Is just PERFECT and Iam pretty satisfied with it.
Overall, I love everything in this drama. I rarely comment about k-drama but this time I want many people to watch this good drama. It would be a waste if you dont watch it

I have a habit, when i watched something and really got my sense i would just dream about it, and happen to this drama also. I really enjoy watching this one. Deserve more recognition actually. The first time in my life watching k drama and i don't want to be end this faster. however i need to admit this one too, this is the most beautiful ending from all of k drama I've ever watched. Highly Recommended!!

del Sep 29 2018 12:36 am To all of you who believe that it's natural and right for Hyeon-cheol B to fall out of love with Yeon-hwa and to want to be with Hye-jin -- I agree completely with you guys, and I also urge all of you to hold on tight to your own partners. Cos what this story illustrates is that the moment your own partner comes into prolonged proximity to a younger and more attractive person than you, s/he will dump your ass.
And to all of you who say that it was Yeon-hwa's fault for not recognising and acknowledging Hyeon-cheol B in Hyeon-cheol A's body earlier, I also agree with you, and I urge all of you to hold on even more tightly to your own partners. Cos even if you are separated from him/her through circumstances entirely beyond your control, even if you miss him/her like crazy, it will still be your fault if s/he falls for someone else while you are trying to sort out the situation.

Song Hyun-Cheol A was the one who really needed a Miracle because of Song Hyun-Cheol B's point of view he was able to see what he was missing in life. I just hope the writer could have a scene where the family of Song Hyun-Cheol A eats at the restaurant of Song Hyun-Cheol B.
I wish I have a good looking guardian angels like Ato & Mao (hehehehe) the Bromance between Ato & Mao (Boy Version) was DAEBAK! They have a good chemistry I really hope they would do more drama together along with the Mao (Girl Version) I was looking forward to every scenes they have.

At first, I was quite sceptical since the casts are mostly senior actors/actresses and ofc I don't know them lol. But I decided to give it a try and I got hooked up right after ep 1 and 2. The actors did amazing, the storyline is beautiful and funny at the same time and what more can I say. A completely good drama. TMWM is a heartwarming story about family and the feelings hit me hard. I ship Song Hyunchul banker and Hye Jin but the ending was perfect and satisfying tho! Kim Myungmin, Kim Hyunjoo and Ra Miran should totally get daesangs for this drama in the year-end award. I will also look forward to Kim Myungmin's future works. To those who doubt to watch it or not, I would recommend to give a try. The Miracle We Met fighting~!!!

I would have still rated this drama 100% if there was only 1 hyun chul living with hye jin because not all lives live happily(considering ji soo n yun hwa) and if drama chooses to portray as such all I can do is accept that. You have great job actors/ actresses. Ra mi ran/Kim myung min awesome job.Even Kai did his job cutely :)

Gun Hwa May 30 2018 1:52 pm I watched the last episode with a heavy heart since Yun Hwa died but the last episode turned out to be one of the best last episodes I've ever watched as every family met a miracle and ended happily. I must commend all the actors in this drama especially Ra Mi Ran who happens to be my favourite for giving their 100% to their various roles.The writer too deserves praise for the way this story was ended. The miracle we met is now one of 2018s best drama. I do hope they get their deserving awards.
Neutralisment May 30 2018 10:03 am Even though this drama adopts fantasy as a theme on the first few episodes, it slowly developed into Romance-Comedy, while still maintaining a slightly dark tone for the remaining episodes.
The ending is very unexpected. I never thought the 'miracle' Ato talked about is Banker Song Hyun-chul retaining his old 'future' memories, thus preventing every single incident that happened in the old 'future'. This is literally the happiest of an ending.
The fact that viewers have to support between Banker's family and Chef's family is too difficult for a normal mind to comprehend. Thank goodness we don't have to see Song Hyun-chul pick a single household as his permanent residence and leave the other one.

virgo May 29 2018 9:34 pm i hate when hye jin tries to get hyun chul. while he knows that he is not her husband anymore. in fact her husband has died. and that is another hyun chul. i hate when hye jin said "let's start everything from the beginning" what is it? how is yeon hwa feeling? I became very disappointed when I got to see ji soo. ji soo must lose his father whose fact is his father still alive. and I was disappointed again when mother of ji soo passed away. my heart hurt to see it.
if I have to choose, I choose another hyun chul to die. and these two families will both lose. still waiting for episode 18.

I think the writer finally has realised what stupid story has written, and now she/he is trying to repair it somehow but I think is too late because till now were waved in front of our eyes more the negative aspects of the humans, especially from HC(B)'s family part: adultery, human's ignorance and stupidity, selfishness, evilness, aggressivity, lack of tact, duplicity, opportunism. I don't know how was possible to be accepted this script to be produced. Shame on PD team.

I know she was ready to let go of him, but it didn't seem fair for her & Ji Soo at all. Unless they make the banker SHC really die too. That would be quite fair for both of families. So please writer-nim, make a good & fair ending for everyone.
Russ May 26 2018 12:00 pm Okay, let's get one thing straight, Hyun-Cheol A is Hye-Jin's husband, brain and body. Yes, Hyun-Cheol B's "soul" is occupying Hyun-Cheol A's body but only the soul does not make it Yun Hwa's husband. The mind and body of Hyun-Cheol A was in love with his wife, Hye-Jin, at one time. If you remember in one of the episodes, Hyun-Cheol B thought that Hyun-Cheol A's mind was overpowering his soul, more of the Hyun-Cheol A's mannerisms, actions, and thinking was taking over Hyun-Cheol B's "soul" although the good of Hyun-Cheol B still exists (thank goodness)..writers did an excellent job of "morphing" Hyun-Cheol B more like Hyun-Cheol A who as I mentioned loved Hye-Jin. Yes, Hyun-Cheol B's spirit fell for Hye-Jin too and combined with Hyun-Cheol A..both mind, body, and soul loves Hye-Jin. Awesomely done writers!! More power to Hyun-Cheol and Hye-Jin who deserve happiness!!!
Arihant May 25 2018 7:33 pm Interesting to see many comments on how the drama is progressing.I,for one,was expecting this new situation -sorry to say but the Bankers family deserves some happiness which they have never had-the Chef SHC was a great father ,son and Husband and they should make peace with the fact that he has gone.The ending of the show is what that will be discussed for a long time-just hope it does not end like "BIG" or a sad endingvlike multiple other shows.
Sandra_oh May 24 2018 2:12 am I totally agree with some of the comments here - how in the heck could SHC have fallen out of love with YH? They were such a jolly couple at the beginning, him giving piggybacks to YH and acting silly in front of her so as to make her laugh. That kind of love can’t just be erased so easily. Yes HJ is “more pretty “, and people tend to want to match the leads because of their looks but that is darn superficial. One can’t fault YH for feeling the way she is, HJ literally is stealing her husband outright even after the latter knows the truth. The way the drama is heading in terms of SHC’s new found love - it’s actually adultery in disguise! And to leap more attention and love on HJ’s kids than his own daughter Jisoo, that really takes the cake :( I know he has some of the banker SHC’s soul in him, but what we are seeing really is the chef SHC’s emotions in the works here. And HJ’s boss - I thought he was going to be a love interest but his character seemed to have just disappeared just like that, I don’t even remember seeing him in the last few episodes at all! It’s just weird. It seems like there’s a change in script from the original maybe?

Besides, he has been living with Hye Jin and really empathizes with her and feels sorry for her. Also Hye Jin is a really good and nice person, she's very beautiful too. In my opinion, ANYONE would fall in love with her!

Yun Hwa May 23 2018 7:59 am This drama was great till the writer decided to mess it up by making Hyun Chul fall in love with Hye Jin. This is same person who loved his wife so much and they were so happy in love. How did he forget all that love? I just feel sad for Yun Hwa. She's the victim in this drama cos her husband shouldn't have died in the first place. Now even with the husband back in another body she still lost him to Hye Jin. Since it has been extended, I'm hoping for a better ending that will sit well with majority of the viewers.

Russ May 21 2018 5:10 pm Unlike kL, I stopped watching after episode 2 or 3 because I didn't like the way Hyunchul wanted to go back to his old family. But, after watching later episodes where Hyunchul fell in love with Hyejin, I went back and watched the remainder of the episodes. I love the Hyunchul and Hyejin story, OMG, what a love story. I cried and cried watching the beginning part of episode 15 where Hyunchul and Hyejin hugged and cried..such love...wow. Now, I can't stop watching. I'm a huge Kim Hyun Joo fan so I love the story the way it is. I just hope the new Hyunchul doesn't totally change back to the old Hyunchul and the good Hyunchul disappears all together....
kL May 21 2018 1:40 am I like this drama in the beginning. But the path the drama is taking now makes me stop watching. Seriously, I don't understand how Song Hyun-Cheol B can fall out of love with his wife Yeon-Hwa. This really upset me. It makes me to stop believing real love exist. del May 17 2018 1:37 am I hate love triangles and since this drama seems to be, I dunno, like the apotheosis of love triangles, I keep waiting for it to annoy me. But what has kept me watching so far is the good acting and, more importantly, the writing. It's not just a matter of the plot and characters making sense. (Yes it's a fantasy, but even fantasies should have internal logic, and their characters, being human after all, should behave like real humans.) It's also the unusually light touch, and the almost surreal, offhand humour that is nevertheless perfectly in synch with the serious parts of the story. Eg Hyun-cheol stealing his underwear from his old house, cos he can't bear to wear a stranger's smalls. Or the mother-in-law dancing. Or three treasure hunters thrown out of the monastery for making a dodgy Buddha analogy. Or the delayed reaction of the bank employees to what they think is an affair between Ddak-pool and Hyun-cheol's mum. Good stuff - hope it keeps counteracting all that love triangle angst!

Next week will already be the last. What will happen in the final 2 eps.? SPOILER: I feel like they won't show Hyun-Cheol happy with one family, because it would mean unhappiness for the other family. My guess is that he'll get killed, and the drama will end with a river of tears, as deep as the river Han. Also, I've learned to always expect a tearful ending in K-dramas: this way, I never get disappointed. (OK, I lied: I still get disappointed.)

In the beginning they were so much in love. What happened to all that love? Why should Hye Jin's character be made to love Hyun Chul who would have divorced her if he were still alive? Hyun Chul already told her many times that he's not her husband so why won't she let go and understand that her husband is dead? I really hope the remaining 2 episodes does a miracle by giving the two women and their family a happy ending.

But the Chef & Banker keep their memories of everything that happened. They meet up and solve the loan case fast since they know who did it. They go home to their families filled with love and a new understanding. A few weeks later when they're all settled down, Hyun Cheol A visits the Chinese restaurant and the families all become best friends. The only ones who know the truth are the 2 Hyun Cheols and the Reapers. Nobody has to die and everyone is happy!

Always going from a wife to other. The scenario gives you an unpleasant sensation and a lot of boring characters. Obviously, actor Kim Myung-Min is incredible, especially considering that he has to work for two, so to speak. Actress Ra Mi-Ran is also fantastic: you can see all the doubts appear on her face, as she wonders whether her husband is truly dead or not. Actress Kim Hyun-Joo is sexy as always. I really like actor Jun Suk-Ho playing the police detective: he looks naturally smart and quick-minded (also, it's nice to see a quick-minded detective, for a change, in a Korean drama). Finally, to answer @anne's question in the comments below me, young Sun Hye-Jin is played by actress Bae Yoon-Kyoung (배윤경): see _yoonkyoung on Instagram.

The other wife should marry the new guy. That's what will make sense in this drama. It will look very bad if at the end of the day he settles with the pretty wife. What will now be the essence for which he was sent back? I hope the writer won't mess up the script. We all want him to return back to his wife. Even though the body is different, they are still soulmates.

This one definitely hits it out of the park and is the drama to beat currently!

I watched so far, not only met all my expectations, but actually exceeded them. Everything in this drama is perfect. It's a flawless mixture of romance (unhappy vs. happy marriage), of slap stick comedy (the awakening in another body), and of mystery (the car accident, the fake loan). Of course the three main leads are absolutely incredible. But even the supporting cast impressed me: Choi Byung-Mo made me laugh in the role of the unmanly friend, with his red handkerchief; and Kim Hwan-Hee is outstanding in the role of the little girl mourning her father.

Plus the beautiful talented Kim Hyun Joo from Fantastic this will be a hoot with KMM having to run between the 2 wives and households. Well on the bright side he'll have the best of both worlds- RMR will make him laugh and KHJ will be pretty to look at! Okay it's booked in for April and how can I forget our Exo boy Kai so that's even more reason to watch. ❤️

My girl crush Kim Hyun Joo, my favorite comedian and all around badass man slaying hot mama Ra Mi Ran...the writer from My Love Eun Dong who gave Joo Jin Mi lines to totally drip out his mouth like honey and melt every middle aged woman listening... Along with Woman of Dignity and Strong Woman, the latter a bit too tacky but both giving women prominent characters and Dignity making them strong resilient ones (Strong Woman was just too weak emotionally and completely gave in to the boss guy too much, to extremes, for my taste but it was catering to teens/twenteens)...the director has done a weird mix, hitting and missing wildly but the failures mostly owing their flaws to writing since he directs actors quite well and things are pretty if not totally successful. He is the Sorry I Love You and Winter Sonata masterpiece director, though, having directed the works that really brought Hyun Bin and Kim Nam Gil the most respect I their careers (esp.Hyun Bin-KNG is genuinely fantastic as an actor, consistently so no matter the role), Ms Temper and Strong Woman more recently, some Orange Marmalade sorts of works less inspiring but brave choices for sure :P
I am totally hyped for the cast and truly hope the writer does a great job here-it is a little like Come Back Ahjussi in storyline. Much like CBA, I am not totally sure about our lead actor-Anthony in King of Dramas may haunt me seeing him and much like Rain, I haven't loved him entirely in acting roles, but hopefully it will be his best. Same for Lee Do Kyung-I have always hated his roles and cannot imagine him as a sweet loving spouse when he is so good at being so vile! The actresses absolutely deserve the best of the best-they are total queens of the small screen!
