Female highs school students, including Mitsuko (Reina Triendl), Keiko (Mariko Shinoda) and Izumi (Erina Mano), become the targets of ghosts with various appearances including a groom with a pig's face and female teacher with a machine gun.

  1. Based on novel "Real Onigokko" by Yusuke Yamada (published December 15, 2001 by Bungeisha Publishing Co.,Ltd.). Sion Sono's movie version changes the original story from people with the family name of "Sato" becoming targets to JK (female high school students) becoming targets.

Janss Jan 15 2018 8:15 pm An amazing piece of modern cinema. I found myself begging the question what it would be like to have dinner with Jean Cocteau and this film's director, Sion Soto. So few films experiment with surrealism these days, and this was done beautifully. I haven't been able to find it, but the soundtrack would be a wonderful acquisition, as the music was equally as beautiful.

I'm curious to know if anyone knows off the song that the bike riders are singing before they are killed? it sounds very cute.

What with the pig head..? why their teachers so much angry just because their student skip the class..? And killed with the machine gun..? What's the point...Maybe I should read more this novel until I get it..

Snow Jun 01 2016 8:05 pm in the beginning I'm a bit confused idk its just I don't understand why there a wind that kills and slice the people into halves but , when in the school her new friends said in the other dimension and in the wedding I totally understand it but in the last part is confusing when she said its over now but, why she's running? Anyway reina is so cute in her uniform.^_^

Oh and all the actresses are very nice. I think I fell in love of Reina. I don't like fall in love because I have no chance. But what am I saying? If that would happen me, only to be just friends or mate, if that indeed happen. But best give up. I don't like dreaming utopic things. But i do it (´-`).

See how mariko got out of the game And are actually in a men's world. How the game master told mariko to fulfill her destiny, which is to please men. But she was able to break free from it. Idk. im also confused by everything. Haha

Jumar Anonuevo Dec 01 2015 9:20 am Just finished watching it. i think the author is trying to portray a character, something that is going through this characters mind. Like changing personalities, running from something in life that no matter how you change yourself you still fall to the same spot or the same ending. Life seems to be a continous race and confusion, uncertainty and fear. And that if there is one entity that probably resemble God, our purpose becomes unclear as we can be toyed at, just following what God wants. The ending is a bit confusing though, im not sure if the character being portrayed just decided to end him/herself just to stop the uncertainties, but kinda found him/herself running again after doinng so. I dont know, just my guess...

Chichan Nov 29 2015 10:21 am Just like what the others said. It was a weird movie, confusing and eerie? Idk, it felt kind of disturbing in some way. Really unrealistic but the suspense was there. The plot twist was... Idk, I can't describe it well, it wasn't explained profoundly. The ending makes it more weirder as it gets. If I have to rate it, 4.5/10, kudos for the gore that'll really catch attention.
