Bea What an effing mess. Freaking soldiers got plenty of screentime than the actual leads. Dropped it after ep.3, i don't even understand anymore where the story is going. Episode 3 was already hard to finish and then i skimmed thru the next episodes, just all new characters shown and their boring story. They don't even give us proper transition or introduction as to why the setting and the casts suddenly changed?? Season 1 was quiet boring too but manageable, the suspense and cinematography kept me going. But season 2 was a whole mess.

Bea The only thing that's pushing me to keep going is the character of Lee Jin Uk and maybe Lee Si Young. I can't believe they kept the tenants when they were all boring and uninteresting, even Go Min Si's character is so annoying and dull. Its a pity they killed Go Youn Jung's character in season1, she has good presence and could have better appearance than most side characters from the apartment.

I like to commend the production team, you can really tell that this series got plenty of budgets with the way they add a lot of characters and even talents, settings, editing, and the monsters are becoming less funny but still meh. It didn't get the hype and attention mainly because the whole storyline was a bit off. Less suspense, less remarkable actors, poor sound effects or bg musics. Song Kang doesn't have a Xfactor, sorry.

Sarah Y'all be complaining alot. This is a series about apocalypse, not a movie or a single season drama to only focus on 3 characters, if they decided to go beyond S1, it was necessary to add more characters. And No, they were not unnecessary, they're all elements of the show. And to those complaining that the drama didnt follow the manhwa, this is a based-on script, it doesnt have to follow the manhwa to a Z, and you sure cannot compare a manhwa, which is just painting with few conversation bubbles to a tv show with living actors. And if you dont like it just because song kang didnt have much screentime then ur not watching it for the plot, so your opinions about how good or bad the show was, are invalid.

Darcy People saying bad reviews about the series are not necessarily haters. Admit it or not, the only one that makes sense in this series is season 1. The plot becomes messy in season 2 that there were characters added who are not exactly relevant in the story. It’s like they don’t know where the story goes. Season 2 is not good. I hoped for season 3 to be better (since it’s the final one) to tie loose ends. It’s better than the second to be fair, but it’s still not good. The series should’ve been concluded in the first season. Seasons 2 & 3 ruined everything.

elaa i personally loveed s2 sm even if the first 2 eps where a little bit boring but the new characters even if most of them were uncessary i loved them y'all are saying that hyun-su barely appeared i think that even if hes a main lead he doesn't have to show up every second i thinkk they gave each character it right in showin up and the ending was anotherr level the minute i saw eun-hyuk i get goosebumps all over i was waiting for him the hall season to show up there's something that get disappointed why did they have to kill ji-su why did they have to kill all the good and strong characters im nit a big fab of jinyoung but he nailed it as chan-yeoung and there is a little bit of development in eun-yu otherwise this season was on fireee i really really loved it

Inaya Do not watch S3 if you guys haven't finished S2! This is all about apocalypse; you can't expect the director to give all the same characters in all three seasons. Of course, there will be different POVs.. not a fan of Jinyoung but he is looking so good in both S2 and S3!

Ryz Recently I’m watching the s2 because the s3 will come out. But tbh s2 is so quite boring. I stuck to the eps 5. Still don’t understand the storyline . Not gonna lie, s1 is the best

Tori I honestly really loved season 2!

lulu ATTENTION

Don't be an idiot by skipping Season 2. You won't know what's going on in Season 3 and there won't be a Season 4. There are lots of likeable characters and you should give them a chance. If someone only watches to thirst after one specific actor they're not watching for the plot anyway and don't let those people dictate what to watch. All these haters here are so damn stupid, it hurts my brain.

Shimi Gentle Reminder

Don't watch Season 2..

It will waste your time. Better skip to Season 3. If there will be Season 4, then skip all, because it will waste your again. They killed all the strong characters in Season 1 and came out with new useless chatacters with unnecessary storyline.

The gap from S1 to S2 to big, I regretted rewatched the Season 1, but endup Season 2 just useless.

What about Songkang? He barely appeared in this Season.

ecko Not as good as S1. CGI has improved but still janky in some scenes. The new characters aren't as compelling as the 1st, too many new ones and so few episodes so no time to explore their background or character arcs. Park Chanyeong is a nice addition though still lacking a little depth at least he's likable. Too many unlikable or just meh characters so at least there's him. The most annoying character(s) for me this season are Hani and Ye-seul because they're creeps. I hate the trope in kdrama where when the woman is the aggressor, they make it seem light-hearted or comedic. Like Ye-seul acting like a girlfriend demanding attention from Chanyeong or yelling and getting angry at others when they talk about Chanyeong+Eunyu as if she's already the girlfriend. And Hani is worse because she's a molester, hugging and caressing Chanyeong while he's tied up? if roles were reversed she'll instantly be a disgusting creep, but they just make it look a little comedic with Chanyeong looking shy and puzzled, like stop with this trope please. Harassment is never cute or funny whoever does it.

Sia In this s2 Song Kang was barely in the series...i was actually watching it for him .

Co Watching this because of Jin Young . It's cool

thtfrnd I didn't read the manhwa, but I could tell this S2 is kind of weird. I couldn't tell what's the main point of S2 story.

Lol The commenter asking us to read the comics clearly did not read the comics. We hating because it's bad. Good on you for liking it though although you read the wrong comic.

Miley Song Kang was barely in this, what's the point of having him as the main character if he's barely going to have any screentime? Also why all these unnecessary new characters that didn't even add to the overall story? This was a filler season indeed. Such a disappointment

Bai Laohu Loved Season 1. Struggling through Season 2 after the first 2 episodes. Must admit I am watching it solely to see Song Kang.and the role he plays. Since there is not much of him appearing in Season 2, I got bored. The storyline itself in Season 2 wasn't interesting enough to make me continue to watch. Storyline in Season 1 was much better.

ActuallyReadTheManhwa I have read the manwha well before the show was announce and I was sorely dissapointed with season 1. decided to give season 2 a try but after ep 4 or 5 i tapped out the over complicated the story so much. it was a simple survival story contained in a apartment building. the characters were interesting, likable the monsters where scary and The plot was easy to follow. this season was the opposite of 2 of those points. The monsters were pretty alright. I hope that stop destroying this story

Sunminna Why are Y'all Hating?!?! Just say none of you read the comics?!??! I love the story and how it's panning out!!! I cannot wait for season 3!

Grace Just finished it and this better be the last season. I was so confused and disappointed. I think it should have ended with season 1. We’ve had kdramas with worse endings.

ALP Season 2 = Let's put in as much annoying people as we can.

How did everyone including the original cast became so annoying?

Eric Moon I think, in series with seasons (especially stories about survival), the next series mostly tells story and character development, such as in the Kingdom series, or even in the film Train To Bussan and its sequel Peninsula, because the main story has been told in the season One.

jj All the negative comments/complains are so funny. Just say y'all watched it for the actor's face & not the story/plot ? I enjoyed season 2. I enjoy ensemble casts that's why it's nice to see the future of the apocalypse and how different groups of people are coping. And I liked the action too!!!!

Minsi is superb as usual ? the chemistry with JinYoung was a wonderful treat for me.

pretty surprised because the one that had the most character development here is YoungHu, a supposedly side character in the overall plot but i ain't complaining bec he's pretty badass ?

Soj ep. 7 reminds me of Stranger Things except that this has no structured storyline

James Nesbitt Really disappointing! It feels directionless & there were just many subplots that don't end up going anywhere. This is particular so starting from episode 5 - I mean, the whole soldiers protecting civilians in the stadium was boring, pointless & predictable. It was inevitable that both sides would eventually mutate into monsters. I don't mind new characters, new environments etc but their stories are not only boring but, in the end, just serve to fill the time to make up an episode. Also there are so many nonsensical plots & subplots which I won't bother repeating that made whole season not only boring but kills the hype. I remember back in season 1, where I couldn't wait to get to the next episode. This is definitely not the case for this season. At times, it also feels like the writing just ran out of time and ideas and plots just didn't have any proper conclusion and the showrunners still included it in.

I hope the writers, the showrunners & producers take in these negative feedback and hopefully can improve season 3. I'm definitely not as hyped for season 3 and it's shame. I read that season 2 wasn't based on the webtoon material, I think that's a shame as clearly the stories, the plots from the webtoon are far superior.

Timotei Season 2 with cheap CGI and with plot that doesn't make any sense. Seems like they rushed the editing.

Melan Ang They have no business to make all the soldiers Hot like that ? ?

Anonymous I couldn’t bring my self to watch most episodes. Season 1 was far better.

Chelsea It started strong but when it had a time jump (starting ep 4), the story seems to drift away. There were new characters and fillers which I think were not necessary in the story. Plus Song Kang doesn’t have any exposure for 3 episodes as if he is not the main lead. I don’t know if it’s intentional or he has other projects at the time of filming. It’s not bad but I like the season 1 more. I just hope that they end the 3rd season on a higher note.

Joys Wahhh lee do hyun so happy

Jae yi The ending rawr. I am so excited to Lee do-hyun. Waahhhh I am so happy hope to meet his sister.. Zerocool your right that not all monster are bad and not all human are good.

Zerocool I love it! It’s all unexpected! It’s so boring when you expect the same boring plot but this why Netflix prefers to be different from the rest of the world.

Whatever it is, it’s all about human and monster survivor and making the right decision. You can learn a thing or two that every human behaves differently. Not all monsters are bad and not all human are good.

I think this season, they focus mainly on Go Min Si as I think she has planet of air time. She was my favourite character in the first season and I m so glad she is playing a main role in this season!

Season 2 is either you love it or hate it.

KST I am also impressed by the characters of Jin young and Go min si. Hope Lee do hyun will make the season 3 better. Gonna miss Song kang!!! Hope he will enter and return from military soon.

KST This season is more different than season one. Anyhow some scenes are entertaining. I am glad to see Song kang here. He is really cute here. The acting is really good but the story is not that much impressive.

Crea This season is a true disaster. It makes No sense on its own or in relation to season 1 or the webtoon. Its badly acted and full of filler scenes with characters that are so unlikeable you kinda wish they'd just get killed asap. There is NO transition from one scene to the next, just a full onslaught of side stories that lead to Nothing. Nada. Honestly Netflix wasted w/e budget they gave this production b/c this is a complete shit fest. Even Song Kangs' booty cheeks and peck muscles couldn't save this mess. This has to be one of the worst Kdramas produced in the last 10 years. A solid 0/10.

mimi (spoilers)

i’m seeing a lot of ppl hate on this season, and it is understandable. seeing season one characters being killed off for rlly no reason, hyunsu barely having screen time for being the main character, a lot of it was just kind of boring and seemed more like filler scenes rather than something that’s actually meaningful to the plot. however, i do think that season three will be better and will (hopefully) put together a lot of the cliffhangers or confusing scenes. i personally didn’t hate this season, but i do agree that season one was much better. my hopes are high for season three after seeing eunhyeok come back though ?? i just really hope they know what they’re doing w season three.

whatzwronc i liked this season, but yeah it felt a bit boring at times, a lot happened but also not as much. season 3 is definitely The season where they'll connect everything and i'm so here for it. i also agree with the comment about the OST!!! it was lacking but it makes you want to watch more.

addicted07 I read the webtoon so I'm confuse of where the directors are trying to take this direction to, but I want to see more Lee Eun-Yu and Park Chan-Yeong scenes Lmfao. And why were the military guys so hot too Lool? . . . Spoilers and Assumptions: After watching season 2, I'm assuming they're trying to make Cha Hyun-Su into Zero and Pyeon Sang-Wook into One. Since the storyline started off with season 1 at the apartment and season 2 at a school field trip in the webtoon where it goes back and explain why all of a sudden the monster appeared. I feel like they're going to make Cha Hyun-Su into that character that wants to save humanity and Pyeon Sang-Wook that character that's going to get its mind confuse of what is right and what is wrong after knowing "too much" of everything. Since it shows that he was somehow able to absorb some of the good Pyeon Sang-Wook memories. But I don't know how that's going to turn out in the end? I thought that in season 2, they would go into the past and explain how the monsterization happened, but I was surprised when they went into the future! Definitely something I didn't expect. I think it's probably because the audience would know too much about the storyline since some of the readers already know what's going to happen. The directors probably didn't want the audience to know what's going to happen next, and went into a story that the readers haven't known yet. I do hope there are more lines in the scenes though. Like when they're fighting with monsters, there just isn't much action besides the character watching, looking and staying quiet? I also like how they added more grown characters, and made the current characters feel more mature and adult-like. I never liked the whole concept of a bunch of high schoolers saving the world where all the adults are relying on a bunch of 15-18 year old like in the webtoon.

idkany I really enjoyed it, but I understand why some people might feel disappointed. It seems like this season was more focused on setting up the story, and I believe they will go all out in Season 3. The end of Season 2 had lots of cliffhangers and lots of questions, which is exciting. I can see why some people are upset about Hynsu not getting much screen time, but it's not realistic to expect the main character to be the center of attention all the time, especially since they already did that in Season 1 & you have to introduce newer characters to build a story..however, I do agree that it was unfortunate for Jisu and the other Season 1 members to d**

J Idc what y’all say it’s a 10/10

watdepak something that lacking of is the OST, season 1 OST by BewhY make a better impression compared to this season

watdepak something that lacking of is the OST, season 1 OST by BewhY make a better impression compared to this season

Funn I was utterly disappointed with this season. How do u have a main character and his screen time is not even up to a full hour in the entire episode. I was so angry and disappointed I had to fast forward so many scenes.. unnecessary new characters, dragging the episodes, not much monsters and my God, it was so annoying cause I waited so long for this season. I'm so annoyed right now

olivia Everyone should go read the original webtoon and Shotgun Boy instead cause this was such a let down. It completely went off rail. CGI was so trashy too

Whyandhow Who was causing the signal jammed?

Sushi87 There were some scenes that I forwarded because it was dragging (soldiers etc).

Lee Si Young character is fabulous. Jin Young is handsome.

Go Minsi character very little.development.

Wasted Ji Su character.

bruv For real, this one was way worst from the 1st season. CGI was rushed af, the 1st season did better also in terms of soundtrack. I feel so sorry that the webtoon author's hard work is put to waste on this. Please stick to the original source if you can't justify it. Why watch a show full of useless supporting characters grabbing those screen time whilst putting the main characters aside. Bunch of filler episodes and side stories. This should've been a sequel instead. Still can't believe they killed off all the good characters from the original.

Tuning in! I have not read the webtoon My first introduction to Sweet home was the TV show so speaking solely on my experience with the TV show season one was fun and different. Season two felt like a bunch of side quest before we get to the main story. This killed season two for me. We left behind many of season, one characters and introduced new characters who didn’t differ too much from season one. This did feel very unnecessary killing people we already became accustomed to… to add new characters who weren’t so different.

Season two definitely felt very directionless. I left season one with 50 questions and left season two with 50 more questions. Nothing was really answered. Nothing was really focused on we kept jumping from one story to the next season. season two definitely did pull at my heartstrings a lot more than season one which left me so exhausted by the final episode.

I can understand the disappointment… not from those who read the web and expected the same storyline in the TV series, but for those of us who were looking for development in the next season. What we really got was just chaos and a lot more death not many questions were answered, nor was there a clear direction as to where the story was going, there were times where I couldn’t even tell who the main character was who the villain was who the side character was. And the characters in season two switched up so much.

I definitely will tune in for season three as many of the cast in season one, and season two of the new cast and I have supported in other dramas, but I do think the writers have to move a lot more strategically when it comes to season three since there will be so much information to consume. There’s only so far you can go with monsters and recycling the same storyline. After a minute the death gets redundant it’s no longer sad you’re no longer mad because how much more can you continue to connect to the storyline when people are constantly dying and there’s nothing keeping you.Connected to a single character;

As well, yes hyun su was not really shown. There were episodes like two in a row where you don’t even see him. so it does feel very distant and weird to have him be such a main character in season one then to no longer really focus on him and add other people who could clearly take away his spot as the main character.

Watcher I’ve never read the Webtoon. My first introduction to Sweet home was the TV show so speaking purely on no connection to the webtoon season one was fun and different. Season two feels like a bunch of side quest. We leave behind many of the first season characters, and add in new characters who don’t differ too much from first season cast, but we get a lot of side stories that don’t really connect to the overall storyline. Which for me killed season two.

I had 50 questions from season one and I feel like I gained 50 more from season two. There were way too many storylines to focus on that at times definitely felt unnecessary like we were just having filler episodes and no real questions answered I can’t tell who is the main character? Who is the villain who is the side character?

Season two felt very directionless, and as I said before like a bunch of side quest that we had to complete before we could get to the main story. I will say they put the characters through the ringer. They were more safe in the apartment complex & less chaotic than out there in the world. which pulled at my heartstrings a lot with so much of the chaos and death that was occurring in the season honestly left me exhausted by the final episode. As well, I felt like there was very few characters I could trust because one minute they had a certain behavior and the next they switched on you

I can definitely see everyone’s disappointment in this season, as there wasn’t much direction and very little things answerd, which is going to leave season three with so much heavy information to consume. I definitely will be toning in for season three as the cast themselves I’ve loved them from other dramas so I will support they but I can see sweet home not bringing in the home run with season three if they really don’t go about it strategically; they should definitely keep sweet home to a three season series because prolonging it can definitely take away the fandom because there’s only so far you can go with monsters and extra dramatic storylines; before you just start recycling storylines

REALZY Had to come back to comment again with the utter disappointment that was Sweet Home S2 as they clearly didn't have a plan and we're just prepping for s3 if they really wanted to use new characters I was they would have done a Shotgun Boy story type situation for S2 new story and new monsters and then introduce Cha Hyun Su again after the Time skip. What they did was utter bullshit and has no real weight, Just generic Apocalypse topics that have been done millions of time. Kim Carnby deserves better Sweet Home, Shotgun Boy, Pigpen and Bastard deserve Better

Honto I'm seeing alot of negative comments here For those that haven't watched season 2 don't be discouraged Season 2 is really great, alot of character development and new characters as well. It's more of a explanation tho even tho it's vague this is just to explain stuffs so season 3 would be action packed since they've done all the talking in season 2

himawari I don't read the webtoon. I enjoyed season 2. I do not think there's any romance which if there's, I don't even realise. I just know the amount of nakey booty is a lot in this series hahahah. although this series doesn't show the main characters so much, the situation between human greed and monster greeds really showing in this season.

monsterization I'm getting the feeling either the survivors don't know how monsterization works or the writers are trying to deviate from what monsterization was in the webtoon. It's giving The Walking Dead, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's nothing new. They should've just stuck with the source material.

shanks As someone that read the og webtoon plus the author's other works, this was sooo garbage. I usually like when changes are made for live action adaptations but please stick to the source material if you can't come up with something better or as equally good. The cgi was also really unfinished, idk what happened with the production but they should give more time and resources to the cgi artists.

Ayu P. Tae Yun's Who Is That?

Baeklukris Why even bother have a main character if they are just in a few episode and their screen time is so little. A lot of unnecessary scenes and side story which is boring. This is supposed to be more of thriller why insist on adding unnecessary romance!!! This is disappointing, they should've added more monster scenes not romance. Just hoping for a better story and character development on season 3

RNL This new season is somewhat disappointing. I was really excited for this one since we all have waited for 3 years. There were new characters which is great but I was hoping for a more intense monster vs human but it's more on humans fighting amongst themselves. There were a lot of unnessary scenes.

tiff i should've stopped watching it in the first season...

Potato I'm definitely disappointed with this season. It felt incoherent at some point. There were unnecessary scenes added that didn't make sense. The main characters, most specifically Cha Hyun Su, have little screen time. To be honest, I was utterly confused the whole time watching. Hopefully, it will be better in season 3.

koalakoala I'm guessing the negative reviews are fans of an actor who didn't appear in s2, since the negative reviews only say "it was bad bc new characters".

I enjoyed the exploration of the apocalypse and how the survivors stories advanced. People should let go of their biases and take on the narrative for itself, not as a vehicle for their favourite oppa lol

Ahru Park Chan Young is the best character among the new characters

LaLa i was so disappointed and bored from this season even though i ve been waiting for it for so long …. the appearance of the main characters were very few even though their scenes were the best … lots and lots of unnecessary mid- scenes and characters. we need the stories of the main characters only and stop filling in between in season 3.

nonny I don't understand the disappointment in the comments. This was a very logical continuation for the story, especially when we Already Know that there will be a season 3. The new characters are great and I like how the main characters developed but still stayed true to thenselves. It was an organic way to show how they aged and started to live with their new living situation. Wish people would stop being such haters when all they do is consume media instead of appreciating it. Yes it hurts and yes it's shocking, but this is as close to reality as it gets on how people and the military would react. I like the underlying commentary on how dangerous it is to blindly obey orders from a superior without questioning it at all. That resistance is often the beneficial choice for everyone involved.

rose I am truly disappointed can't be compared to first season

KdramaSince2015 Wow. Still shock and hurt.

KdramaSince2015 Beyond shocketh and disappointed. No words.

Mira I`m sad and dissapointed with this season. Too many unintersting new characters and we barely saw the main ones.

An many annoying characters. Some of the humans are more annoying than the monsters.

wendy I only just started season 2 and I'm already pissed at how the soldiers are handling the monster situation. They're worst than the monsters, but I guess that's the irony in it all

Wonder Please spoiler me.

[Spoiler]

The dog ran away in episode 1 during chaos. Please tell me if he safe or die or he never appeared again. Thanks.

Lizeeeee not sure why but there wasnt any stand out ost for this season

Dena Eun yu is so annoying stubborn and selfish hate the caracther since season 1

Ji Su is dead Ji su are saying good bye to us. Hahahahhahahahqhq now I am drunk because it's only 8 episodes and when will season 3 with us? And And And And Eun Hyeok? Wtf Are U?!

THURSDAY December 1st 6.11 PM I finished sweet home 2 and I will rewacth it until season 3 came out (again and again). This is full SPOILER and I am still gasped around while writing thus! Shit! Cha hyun su are fully Monster but there is a twist around him and Yi Kyung (Yi Kyung baby is dead and Hyun Su has new imagination about him being monster) Peon Sang Wook are died but the venom from season 1 are alive and takes sang wook body. So sang wook is an asshole. Lee eun yu search Eun Hyueok until at The End. IKonw This Is Spoiler But..... the weird thing that hanging around ceiling are popped and it's Lee Eun Yheok Everybody! Yes And I Am Dead Now.

eunhyeok i watched sweet home for lee dohyun and even though he isn't in this 2nd season i will try to enjoy it

Ru I really cannot wait because I'm curious about Jinuk's act. He will entirely act a different character because he is *spoiler* no longer Sangwook. If I wasn't wrong it will be his entire first time playing bad guy entirely? Especially a heartless villain archetype. Really looking forward.

Ann What happened to Lee Do-Hyun? I pretty sure he didn’t die in season 1 coz he was infected.

MP Let's go Go Minsi for Sweet Home season 2 and 3 !!!

Sam I wish for lee do hyun to be there as well. He is one of the most imp reason I am watching this drama

dandanie i know there will be season 2, but i didn't know that they will also make season 3 ????!!!!!

Gaurav I can't wait for Season 2 and Season 3...

Kenyatta G Please hurry with season two! I can’t wait because I love all the actors and actresses! Except the rapist! I love all of you guys and the series was off the chain! Boredom was never an issue. Excitement around every corner from the beginning to no end. All the back stories of each person! Please don’t stop doing what you’re doing directors and camera people because you’re on point! I’m soooo happy it’s in English!!!!! This series is the best and I watched over 20 times or more no exaggeration. Come on Season 2 now, like yesterday!!!

Fiona Can't wait to see Park Gyu Young aka Yoon Ji Su in Sweet Home Season 2.

Wahyu pratama why there is no goyouunjung in season 2 and 3, i'm so sad

Fan Missing LDH and go younjung :(((

Lyn I wish for LDH to be part of the season 2, apart from song kang and tge story itself LDH is the other reason i am watching.

Jinyoung saranghae I still hope LDH to be included in the season 2, or if not, in season 3. Excited for this especially Jung Jinyoung became part of the cast. Yey, a mew character.

Shairli Really hope, miraculously that LDH still alive & still one of the mains in SH2. Nevertheless, may still watch due to the storyline. Hope its gonna be good.

An Although my favorite character is Jae Heon, I'll probably still watch this season just to see Ji Su. I like her.
