Gong Woo-Jin (Yang Se-Jong) is a 30-year-old single man and he works as a set designer. Due to a trauma he experienced 13 years ago, he does not want to have a relationship with others.

When Woo Seo-Ri (Shin Hae-Sun) was 17, she fell into a coma. 13 years later, she wakes up from her coma. Her mental age is still that of a 17-year-old, but she is now 30-years-old.

Gong Woo-Jin and Woo Seo-Ri get involved with each other and fall in love.

BEE Jul 21 2026 11:49 pm Finally got to watch this drama and what a wonderful one it is. Jennifer is so gifted I have seen her in other dramas always thought highly of her she nailed this character. Yi Ji On great. It's a heartwarming drama clean story line wirh no villains. Writers great story . The actors and actresses have been a joy the Director truly made it wonderful.

Masha Jul 18 2026 10:33 pm Such a sweet show. I feel it has too many episodes as the story started to lag/get a little boring around episode 11/12. I, however, still love Still 17. The imagery is so magical as well as the charming soundtrack. The storyline itself is also sweet and the cast has just great chemistry onscreen. I’ve watched this show all the way through at least three times and it’s always as entertaining as the last. I rate it 9 out of 10! <3

I liked this drama the first time I watched it.. but not this time around :-( I'm rewatching this because I just finished watching See You in my 19th Life, and thought I'd follow it up with another SHS drama. But boy, am I disappointed by this! Sorry guys, I love SHS too and I think she was really great in My Golden Life.. Don't get me wrong, her acting is great in this drama as well.. that is, if you're looking at her as a 12-year old! I'm sure it wasn't due to her acting.. but it's more so the way her character was written out for this drama.

I think it was a huge disservice to SHS's true acting prowess! She nails the part -- but as I said earlier -- that is, if she was a 12-year old here. This series reminded me of a movie called "13 Going On 30" with Jennifer Garner. And sorry to say, that the way SHS's character was written out here in Still 17, it makes her look like a clueless 12-y/o -- soo not even a teenager.

Anyway, I will not get discouraged by this drama, and will continue to watch the rest of her shows that are currently on Netflix. There's still quite a few that I haven't watched, but a couple that I've seen before and plan to rewatch because I really like SHS!

kdrama lover Sep 25 2024 8:43 am i must say this is one of the best kdrama ever in romance genre! It's light-weighted, heart-warming, yet there's no a single boring episode! All casts did a great job, all fit in their roles. I love Shin Hae Sun and Se Jong's chemistry. I know i never wrong when there's Shin Hae Sun in it! And i couldn't believe that Chan is Ahn Hye Seop!!

KST Sep 04 2024 10:03 am Just finished watching this drama. Its really like a meditation. Its really relaxed my mind.Shin hae sun, Yan se jong and Ahn hyeo seo's acting was really amazing. Ahn hyeo seop looks really cute here. The actress who acts as Jenniffer is really funny. That role looked like a robot.I really recommend this drama to all who want to relax mind while watching korean dramas.

Because I'm confused about trying a new drama, so after trying 1 episode, I finally remembered why I liked this drama so much. Their roles are very unique and their tici taca really refreshing to watch. Their existence weren't just a filler like others drama, they really grab something to complete the story. However, in this story, I feel that the main girl is not "still 17" but more like "Still 12". Not Shin's fault.  ?

The plot was a great idea, although some bits seemed a bit dragged out, and unnecessary, like some flashbacks were repeated a LOT lmao - but overall I liked it! I enjoyed watching the romance between the two leads, they were great together. And the whole main cast were good acting wise. Fun watch!

nullifi3d Jul 01 2023 2:35 am This drama was infuriatingly annoying, the basics of the plot was fine but boy was i annoyed with how they characterised Mr Poop (i prefer this name better than Kang) as a mentally retarded individual rather than an introvert suffering from childhood trauma. A simple case of telling Seori that she didnt have to fcuking go to the music school became an extended scene that was unnecessary. Just rip the fcukind bandaid off and let her move on to the next available job.

Also does Chan's two idiotic team mates know such a thing as boundaries? Who sends their packages to a friend's uncles house; someone they barely knew and also barged into his room not one, not twice, but on multiple occasions to invite him to eat or snack knowing Mr Poop was busy working. Being Asians, i never saw myself trying to be super friendly with my friend's parents/uncles etc.

i can barely make it beyond episode 3, which is such a shame as i thought the underlying plot was interesting in the beginning; though the bus accident scene was way over the top and would make Michael Bay proud.

Another pointless Kdrama into the bin.

Conor Mar 23 2023 9:03 pm I will start by saying that I like the plot. I know the writers use a ridiculous number of totally improbable coincidences to bring the plot to life, but what Korean drama doesn't do this? So I will just excuse it and move on.

I was not impressed with the 2 lead actors. The supporting cast were better though.

Shin Hye-Sun (Seo-Ri) has to be one of the worst actors I have ever seen. Everything is over acted. She use cheap tricks to try to overcome her awful acting. She speaks too slowly to emphasize seriousness or confusion or thoughtfulness. She acts over excited to try to display excitement or happiness. Her facial expressions are often forced. She jumps around also to try and show her excitement. When she is trying to be forlorn, upset, disappointed or lonely, we often see her shuffle or drag her feet. I saw her in "Stranger" season 1, which was an excellent show and she was a bit better there, but the director of that show was obviously good and didn't let her get away with such cheap tricks. Honestly, by episode 16, I couldn't stand her any more. She tried to portray cuteness but totally failed. I hope I never see her in anything again.

Yang Se-Jong (Woo-Jin) was a bit better, but his character was just incredibly dull and boring. He didnt often over act. He just acted miserable most of the time. Not very much there to endear his character to us. I dont rate him as an actor either.

Ahn Hyo-Seop (Chan) I liked in general. Most of the times that he over acted was with Seo Jin. perhaps her pathetic acting style affected him, but in the more serious moments, you can see that he has good acting skills.

Ye Ji-Won (Jennifer) was by far the best. She is a quality actor and deserves plaudits for her performance. I liked her role and her skills.

Jung Eugene (Kang Hee-So boss of the media Company) was also a good actor. I really liked her performance and her character.

This would have been a much better show if the leads were properly cast. Were the acting displays of the leads due to their own lack of skill or was it down to the director being dreadful. Who knows? Perhaps a little of both.

I can criticize the script a bit for irritating me by regularly having the characters about to ask key questions multiple times and each time at the last second being interrupted or stopped from getting to the discovery of who each of them was to each other in the past. Its a cheap plot trick, but understandable if the writers/director wanted to drag out the discovery process and try to build some tension.

Overall, I would give this show a 5 out of 10.

Especially Yang Sejong very cute, sweet and manly at the same time♡♡ I like his voice♡ I watched this because of him, but I also always like Shinhyesun's acting. It will be difficult to move on from this drama ㅠㅠㅠ 양세정 사랑해용♡

If you want to see who you were at 17 and what you would be at 30 and now you are 25 years old you gonna see the different haha and reliese how beautiful youth-life is. Confidence, ambitions, passionate in everything you want that's how Chan (Ahn Hyo Seop) brings you back to school life and Seori (Shin Hye Sun) will remind you when you stay childish at your 30 year old (she delivers her role so well) how pathetic is when you can do something you love, can't reach your dream, being alone without familyl. Last but not least Woojin (Yang Se Jong) reminds you how life would be at 30, work, traumatic, boring, mostly silent, didn't care what people think about ragically that's our life haha. Love This Drama

berry.bunny Aug 05 2022 7:06 am This was one of my favorite underrated dramas now. The plot twist was so cute, heartwarming and beautiful.. it made me cry.

The actors were really good and didn't knew the male lead was one of the doctor in Romantic Doctor. Shin Hyesun is indeed a great actress yet so underrated I mean she deserves more, same with the actor. I kinda hate his character in Romantic Doctor S1 & 2 but love him here, that's what good actors do hehe

and the young version of leads were really cute and they have drama together as leads too. can't blame many fans hoped Si Eun to be the FL in All of us are dead. but jihu did great tho. sieun is really cute. chanyoung and her look good together. Such a good actors at a very young age.

Highly recommend this. sooooo relaxing. u wouldn't even notice that the girl is 3 years older than guy. If you're wondering to watch it or not, just watch it!!!! You Will Never Regret ^^

SentineL Mar 05 2022 10:25 am I completely agree with the positive reviews. This drama is a hidden gem, just like 'Romance is a Bonus Book'. My only regret is that this drama could've been made better. The story is well written for each episodes aren't boring, the actors did well (personally I really enjoy the FL, her acting is on point plus she was actually bloody cute here lol) BUT huge minus to the Director and OST. The camera work, editing and bgm isn't really well made that it feels the drama is cheap and sloppy (though this could be because budget restriction). I feel sorry for the female lead, such good actress wasted on incompetent directors.

It's hilarious, sweet, cute, and even the climax plot is not that stressful in my opinion. There are a lot of life lessons and nice quotes even though this drama storyline is so simple. The sweetness of the main leads story is overload. I love how simple, understanding and sweet their relationship is. Not only them, but even characters like Jennifer, Hae-Beom, Deok Soo, Hee-Soo and Jin Hyun are also loveable. They are literally family.

No wonder this drama is so popular. You should watch this if you want a relaxing drama without too much tension.

I was even suprised myself that this drama was that good, I loved the cast (from leads to the extras) and there was no wayyyy I was going to drop this lovely drama. Although this drama was dragged for a bit, I was grinning like a madman by the end. Absolutely worth the watch and I highly Recommend this to Kdrama Lovers . Daebak !!!!!

The main leads were amazing in their own right, but for me I found a gem in Jung Eugene (shes actually so pretty); Loved every scene she was in. also the Character Jennifer is definetly Iconic, so unique never seen anything like it in a kdrama. just wooooooow. Once again this drama is Highly Recommende !!!!!

My opinion is that not every drama has to be 16 episodes long, for this drama 12 would be enough. Also didnt like (as already pointed in some comments) the idea of sharing the same past, basically with everyone. It is unrealistic and puts the charactes in some "mental issues" where they cannot move forward with their lifes and dwell on their past too much. It is really toxic and does not have a happy ending in real life. It is not so common arrying your first teenage love.

I also was wondering why Woojin didnt recognize her after so many hints and she basically didnt change in her facial features , just aged. The face did not change that much when people are teens (not babies or pre-teens)...

Juniper Apr 12 2021 7:07 pm I only watch and manage to finished this Drama because of Jennifer and for the the Lessons in Life, there was a lot of memorable quotes that hit me Emotionally. I love the Writer show each Characters and point of view BUT there is a lot flaw in this drama the pacing was slow the could somehow included how the Uncle died on earlier episode. The part of Kim Hyun-Jin(Seo-Ri aunt) I really hate her even in the last episode she was acting arrogant and treated Seo-Ri codly like WTF you left your Niece and still acting with no consience. Same goes with Seo-Ri for acting ungreatful towards Kim Hyeong-Tae (Doctor friend) he was the only friend that did not leave her and yet she acted with no gratitude. Also what happened to Lee Ree-An? (the girl with a huge crush on Chan) its like she compelety banished in the story after haging the banner that was this drama could have been better it weren't for the lazy writing.

Binero Apr 03 2021 10:02 am Ugh, so much lazy writing. I like this drama’s storyline but at episode 8 I‘ll stop for now. They keep repeating all these tropes until the point that it gets really annoying. I lost count on how many time Seo Ri ran after someone and lost that person. And all these ‚near revelations‘ just make me feel tired. Now I won’t even believe for a second that they find out who the other person is to them or Seo Ri’s childhood doctor friend finding her, after they make a cliffhanger. I understand that it’s a stylistic means to get tension but in this drama it gets repeated to exhaustion. It’s sad because I just love the whole cast of the drama.

and struggles with the story they did not show too
much negativity .I love how simple the storyline is. There was no villain or even an evil in
the story. And goodness if I have to choose I kdrama to
watch for the rest of my life it's gotta be this. I trully
recommend this one to be watch by korean drama series
over. Definitely a must see!!!

The whole time i thought he is Yoon Shi Yoon !! :') they do look much alike tho. Came here because of Lee Do Hyun, but I enjoyed this drama although it's little bit slow

Somehow, I could see their chemistry in every scene. So glad to know that Sejong Oppa and Hyesun Eonnie won awards for their roles. After watching this, I feel a very strong desire to see Yang Sejong Oppa in all of his dramas❤️

jisoosnowdrop2021 Dec 27 2020 7:11 pm wowww this drama was incredible ... i have watched literally A TON of kdramas over the years and i havent loved that many kdramas literally from the beginning till the ending. ive always known about still 17 but never gotten into but it was soooo worth it. the actors and actresses are phenomenal like all the leads, support roles and even extras that have been there for like just an episode. the storyline was sooo amazing, touching and had such a good amount of comedy in it as well. i didnt even feel the need to skip / fast forward any episodes because it was sooo good. this drama definitely deserves more hype and hopefully more fans. also one note.. the ending was sooooo cute .. literally made me so happy

They blame everything on the driver like wth. Its his fault but they are definitely overacting with this one. I get it that its all painful and stuff but the show could have portrayed it in a way more that we could sympathize with the actress and not say that she overdid it instead of immediately just revealing the driver and stuff..

I like the shin hye-sun's acting here but the guy was just meh. Also, the script is trash. All they do is go around in circles with their stupid flashbacks and the plot just sucks

The male lead's acting sucks and he seems pretty stupid and acts the same way as he was when he was 17. Pretty boring and cringey show. Started of good but ended up being all draggy. Dropped this at episode 13. The actors were good, but the script and screenplay was bad. Everyone who liked this show must like pedophilia and are 14.

ddeokbxkki Jun 23 2020 11:13 am I had fun watching but will I rewatch again? Probably not, the storyline is good tbh but somehow I find some scenes a little draggy. I don’t usually comment or review but I really want to say that the writer really underused the character Kim Hyung Tae. i initially thought that he will be the second male lead and honestly i was really looking forward to his reunion with Seo Ri only to be disappointed at how awkward it is. Well it’s understandable but I was hoping they will slowly sort things out. For the first time in my drama watching life, I felt sooooooo bad for a character that isn’t considered as one of the lead. His character is written in such a heartbreaking way and honestly there’s no point to it. I wouldn’t feel so bad if he’s just a doctor. That’s my mini rant on this character.

Back to the main story, I had some great laughs tbh. The comedic relief in this drama was good. For some weird reasons I love the side characters a lot, Kim Hyung Tae, Kang Hee Su, Hyun. They have interesting characteristics, sometimes more interesting than the mains.

Tuesday May 31 2020 9:32 am After watching heavy K-dramas like Itaewon Class and Memorist, I had to make a shift to a rom-com genre of Kdrama.. I didn't regret watching this K-drama which was highly recommended by my cousin who said it's very light and fun to watch.

I admit, this K-drama was on my watchlist since 2018 (the year it was aired on SBS). However, I have this habit of watching Kdramas with actors and writers that I am most familiar with. So, I didn't prioritize Still 17 not until this week. Imagine this, I finished this K-drama in three days despite of my busy workload for a client. I just had to binge-watch due to the storyline and the chemistry of all the cast.

However, I will surely miss "Still 17". It's a chill and light series. It's the type of K-drama that makes you smile from start to end. Hehehe

Skipped to the end and found the uncle had died which I guessed in episode 3. They are by now living together, didn’t bother to watch the end of episode 16. Cant we do better than this? Where is the likes of Crash Landing on You? Was so disappointed almost gave up on K drama. Trying My Holo Love, don’t like fantasy but it is well acted and well directed do I am giving it a go.

goong Nov 14 2019 1:24 pm it wasn’t that good. I finished it expecting things to wrap up nicely but I ended up disappointed . There were SO MANY CLUES! i don’t know why Mr Gong were so clueless about who she really was. They really dragged everything until the last couple of episodes. I got really annoyed with the two leads with all the back and forth.

And the writers really did this Hyeong Tae character bad. He became a doctor for her, took care of her while she was in a coma only to be given the cold shoulder by Seo Ri. Made me dislike her. I know she’s been out of it for more than 10 years but there should at least be a connection. But she avoided him like a virus. She was more comfortable meeting Mr Gong/Chan for the first time than being reconciled with her childhood friend.

I hate how they forced mostly all the characters to be all connected from the very start. I don’t know why all Kdramas needs the characters to have a past together and then meet again by chance as adults. Why can’t we have characters who are complete strangers. This connection, especially in this drama seems very forced. I was rolling my eyes so much when they started connecting everything.

Shin Hye Sun and Yang Se Jong are good actors, they did what they could with the characters they were given. But they were lacking in chemistry.

If you want a feel good drama with good looking leads, then I recommend this. But if you’re looking for a well written story with exciting plot and characters, avoid this.

I just love how light this drama is and it gives me love, laugh, sadness and the love team is beyond good truly that the lead couple deserved an award here. I just admire how the lead actors and actress give me all the feels in their acting. It has good ost songs, I'm so deeply inlove with this series. This is one of the drama that you'll surely enjoy watching over and over again. I trully recommend this one to be watch by korean drama series lover. Definitely a must see!!! ❤

Cast- somehow perfect cast, at first I dont really feel comfortable with Shin Hye Sun being the lead but she was really gooood. Yang Se Jong yet again never failed to make me cry when he cries. He is really good at emotional scenes, especially this one! Whenever he is triggered by traumatizing events. Other casts like Chan, I just love it, the third party feeling, is light? I just dont feel any competition from Chan bc he cares alot about his uncle. I feel bad for him tho :(. Chan's friends are somethimes annoying though but are really funny. And of course, Jenniferrrr, she is just my favorite and it brings out the energy per ep.

Plot- plot is reallyyyy good, writers have done very well with the events happening and they did not put a very deep issue between the couple that could have caused a major dramaaa. Like i've said, this drama is really warm and light. It's like there is an equal or balanced proportion between romance and comedy from the storyline. There are also a lot of cute scenes in here between the two leads and also with Chan hehe :'))

All in all this is probably one of the best dramas of 2018 and I am both regretful and so damn greatful for watching it just these recent days since I was bz with college. No boring episodes, everything /everyone was just so happy and I really loved it. Kudos to the producers and cast for doing such a great drama!

All characters here are great, especially Jennifer, Gong Woo Jin and Woo Seo Ri. Ye Ji Won, Yang Se Jong and Shin Hye Sun really did a great job. I really enjoy watched this drama.

And It's staes like This until the end. nothing interesting happening with the storyline anymore. And I think that the screenwriters need to put the love story at the end .and focus more on the story.

This drama was sooo sweet that I smiled for the whole day and the day after watching this drama. Also loved how classical music was one of the main focus of this drama since I love classical music as well. Not the best drama i've watched but really just one of those dramas that will make you smile if you haven't for a while, this is a great time passer while waiting for a new drama. I did crave for some action drama after watching this due to the lack of intensity that i'm used to seeing in kdramas. 8.5/10

Shin Hyesun and Yang Sejong is such a loving and fragile couple in love. They should win Best Couple award. Ahn Hyo-Seop is such a great actor I will vote him as Best New Artists. Thank you script writer, director and producer for a heart warming drama. I like to see more of such drama dealing with human interactions.

The story line flowed very well and the actors portrayed the characters in a way which made it believeable that the female lead was ‘still 17’.

Only thing that annoyed me was that the female lead got superwhiny in the last few episode, whereas for the character growth she should have gotten stronger and not weaker. Anyway, it is still very much worth watching, I've never seen a korean drama before which deals with such difficult subjects as accidents, being in coma and loosing time for one reason or other.

This drama teaches us so many things like helping a stranger, doing the things that will make us happy and not minding what others are doing. Doing the things we love without having to compete with others will just make us happy like what Seo Ri did. Also, we can see how the truck driver patiently waits for Seo Ri to wake up even tho it took her 13 years later to wake up. The family they created even though they are not related to each other made them all happier. Another one is that opportunities are everywhere in our lives we just have to look for it.

I absolutely recommend this drama because as I watch it, I can feel my heart melt and be swayed by each episode I watch. By watching this drama, you will realize so many things because the life lessons highlighted in the drama ???

Susannna Oct 20 2018 6:03 am I'd give it 9/10 because, honestly, it's one of the few good dramas from this season (early Autumn). The story was certainly fit for reading in a good novel and the picture made it better. It's the cutest, melodramatic, romantic drama you'll ever find in 2018.

That's only my personal opinion but I firmly believe I have a pretty decent eye for dramas (not actors, because they can be in very bad ones and don't watch them despite I admire them).

It is 'almost' perfect because some things were logically off, but that's OK! Still enjoyable.

If you are looking for fresh, lovey dovey drama, I suggest you to watch this. Definitely won't regret!!

I love how they treated each other as families. All of the characters were lovable despite their imperfections. Even Hyung Tae, Rin Kim and Seo Ri's aunt. Two thumbs up for this drama. Highly recommended.

The story line is easy to understand. Its light and fun. Its such a warm drama and I really love it.

I watched Yang Sejong at romantic doctor when he played as an arrogant doctor and I liked him since that one. This is his 2nd drama that I watched and his acting skill is improving a lot. When Gong Woojin cried, he made me want to hug him :( his smile is cute too hhhh :')

And I watched Shin Hyesun at Oh My Ghost when she played as Kang Eunhee. At that time, I wondered when will I be able to watch her as the main character because like Yang Sejong, she is really great.

Also Ye Jiwon. Omg she is perfect. I liked her since Another Oh Haeyoung.

I cant let go of this one and I think I'll watch it again if I get my free time. What a great drama and recommended!!

Can't wait to see another drama from the two main lead!?

So romantic, humour is at the right scenes and then the drama itself... Great great acting from both the two leads.. And kudos also to all the support, they did an excellent job.. The muaical scoring is so beautifully incorporated in every necessary scenes! It has no boring or dragging feeling.. The best of 2018 for me so far... Highly recommended!

I loved every episode of this drama because the plot is very well written so everything makes sense. The story started it off well, however they don't just stop the excitement there, they continue to unveil more and more things and they are interesting. This drama is romance based, but it's not cheesy. The main leads are super cute together! I just love everything about this drama. 200% Recommended

Wow, this drama is wow. One of dramas I can happily said I took the time to watch and it's rare to say that for dramas I've seen. The story is amazing. You just seeing the connection each character had for each other which is something I haven't seen in a long while. The chemistry between Woo Jin & Seo Ri is on point. Everytime they're together, my heart is just bursting with happiness from them. It just seems so natural. Although, it did seem a bit slow for the first half of the drama (which is why I couldn't give it a perfect 10). I was afraid that all of these conflicts wouldn't be answered at the rate the drama was going but everything that was presented as a problem was solved and I'm glad that this drama didn't have any loose ends. It didn't feel rushed at all. My concerns were addressed properly and in a good timely manner. Plus, a great ending too. This drama will put you in a emotional roller coaster, from laughing at funny scenes to having teary moments. This drama has it all. I definitely recommend if you haven't watched it yet.

The journey from the first episode to the last episode was filled with constantly growing and evolving characters and feelings, laughter, tears, more laughter, romance, familial love, friendship, kindness, joy and enlightenment. This drama gets the highest marks from me and the highest recommendation whether you have seen 0 dramas or 200 dramas. This drama is worth your time.

They take the time to make sure the characters develop true deep meaningful relationships and though there were times I wished they deepened the relationships faster. I was always entertained and loved every minute and boy was that a satisfying and joyful show from beginning to end to watch. If you want something that will make you feel good and happy, this is the show if you understand that it's a show about character character development. As this show said and personifies, when one door of happiness closes, it's not the end if we are willing to be open and see that another door opened.

I mean, in every episode, i kept wanting for more, cried and laughed. the sequence of the story was good and the actors are great. I was a bit disappointed that the last episode seemed to have a lot of shortcuts. Like, the realizations of Yoo Chan that Seo Ri is not for him, the back story of Seo Ri's Aunt, and of course their wedding scene which I really want to see. I mean, I still don't want it to end. LOL

It's a lightweight drama and gives you that good feelin after you watch it. Overall rate: 10/10 :)

AT any age u can start anything. it means even in your 40,30,50 age, You can still be success in your life.

2. You will also learn a lot interesting quotes which will make you will realize more things about you (this happen to me personally maybe it wont happen to you ) and character.

Conclusion if you into slow pace and realization watch it. The story is very loving and the family so good. i really like it personally. 

i will give this 7/10 only 

3 more marks i dont give because  (NO twist, very predictable , very slow pace).

Jennifer .. Chan tow crazy friends? And of course the dog ??? oh I've never liked a dog like this in my life sooooo cute I highly recommend watching it and to me it's a 100% voting for everyone who worked in this sweet honest drama.

I will miss them so much. Although sbs didn’t give us the intended number of episodes (20), I’m still grateful for giving us a drama filled with soul. My mondays will feel so empty :(

Travalia72 Sep 19 2018 11:40 am I tried to be happy with 32 episodes but I still think this could be at least 36 episode long because there’s some scene on trailer last 2 episodes that didn’t make to the final cut like when an older women said to Seori “Don’t hate them, you can resent me if you want” (something like that) and when Seori said she met her uncle. I mean, the next drama will air on 1st October which means the slot for this time on last week of September will be empty. I wonder how would they fill it.

Anyway........I really love the love progress in this drama, and love the twist about it as well. We’ve known from first episode that Gong Woojin likes Seori but I bet none of us see it coming when Seori actually notice him too since the first time. Their love story might seems corny and childish for some people (bcs I feel that way too at some scenes) but I feel they’re way mature about how to handle their own love than most drama leads.

I really love when Woojin said (roughly) “it’s not about my thinking. You don’t need to worry about me when you making a choice. You need to think about yourself. I’m supporting any of your choice” like damn!!!! This is my first time seeing a male lead really mature when their partner is about to leave him. Most of male lead (which I have watched) would be so selfish and wishing his partner won’t leave him. This kind of things might be a minor thing but this is what made this drama feel so fresh. Ngl, I was kinda waiting for their wedding announcement but seeing how they only showed their photo and ring at the end, I find it cute. Really props to the writer for making such a simple love story but full of sweetness, cutenedd and teaches you how to handle things in a mature way.

P.s: I really wish Yang Sejong and Shin Hyesun would win Best Couple Award. The pair is really adorable I’m gonna combust from their sweetness. P.p.s: whoever making the way Seori cancel her study to Berlin and how she thought Woojin would propose her deserves a Grammy!! ??

It is one of the great drama this year and the story was so cute and sweet.... hahaha..... since then, i start to watch from 1st episode and it reallt didn't dissapoint me.... love the cute and innocent Seo-ri.... episode 29-30 really made me cry when Jennifer tears up and slap the guy who killed So-mi and Jennifer's husband..... really tears me up.... TT..... still didn;t watch the latest episode but can't wait to see it..... do hope that the drama continue until eps 40....

Still 17 fan Sep 18 2018 12:26 pm I followed this drama since 1st airing till the last episode which was last night (32 episodes) and i have been a korean dramas fan since 2004, i would say this was one of the best korean drama ever.

Even the story is so light because no bad or evil person in this drama, but this drama delivered so many messages for all of us. I smiled, i laughed, i cried and i felt so touched and so warmed so many times during watching this drama.

And lastly, thank you very much for all of the people who involved in making this beautiful drama, for all of the actresses and the actors, the director, the writer, the producer and all of the staffs of this drama.

30 but 17 or still 17, you will always be missed.

My water works didn't start until the very end of 14 when she says, "His name was Gong Woo Jin." Those two short flashbacks at the end killed me. cutechloe Sep 13 2018 7:41 am i really wonder why they decided to cut down the drama from original 20 episodes??? i think that's the reason why Ep 13-14 seem rushing the story since they both confessed and kissed. although it is still well-made but i feel a bit rush and now how's the story goes on from Ep 15 onwards??? this drama really makes me like yang se jong, this is the first time i watch his acting. i feel he is a versatile actor since he fits in different characters from romantic doctor, duel, temperature of love and now still 17 which is kind of romantic-comedy. will look forward for his future project for sure!

Top notch cast, beautiful chemistry, endearing characters with good life lessons (Jennifer, the voice of wisdom). Overall, a show full of cuteness and heart. I'm just miffed by SBS's decision to cut it down to 32 episodes (16)?!? The drama was clearly slated to be 20 episodes but for an unfathomable reason they decided to shorten it, ruining a bit the pace in the process imo. Episode 13 felt so rushed tbh (and editing was bad), I can't be the only one to feel this way...thanks God, they made it up with Episode 14 (best episode of the series so far imo, I was crying my eyes out the whole time) All in all, I'm very sad that the show is ending next week because it was the highlight of the week for me. I will keep an eye on all the cast future projects (I was already doing that with YSJ since I started this one for him)

PS: I respectfully disagree with Missy's comment about Yang Se Jong's acting. He's one of the best actors of his generation and he's very versatile imo (he nails all the emotions...from happiness to sadness, anger to gentleness etc..no wonder he won a Baeksang Award for TOL (Best New Actor), though I would have preferred he won it for his terrific performance in Duel (this drama is so underrated, it hurts! More people should watch it, he truly stole the show showing impressive range and charisma. Wish him to land another strong role like that for his next project)

The way the female lead acts is more like a 12 year old im 16 and i don't act like that. Even the child actors look like they are in the middle school not like highschoolers. I get that they tried making her innocent and stuff but people who are 17 are mature for the most part. It would have been better if they portreyed her as she went in a coma when she was 12 or something that would have made more sense

You will find happiness here in this drama, especially episode 8 (or 16). I can guarantee even those who are very picky will adore this drama. Aug 07 2018 9:05 am second drama after 'My Golden Life', seeing Shin Hye-Sun acting. she was a good actress. in my golden life, her character a bit mature & serious, suitable for her age while still 17, she carry the character of 30 years old young women but have the mentality of 17 years old teenager such as, cheerful, funny, innocence, naive personality and sometimes cute too. hahaha. i must say, she is really good carrying that character. by the way, i liked the sidekick character of Jennifer, your house helper. English influenced & Mrs. know it all things. hahaha

Andre Aug 04 2018 11:40 pm I love how this shows ties together that Seo Ri was in a coma for 13 years, but in a way so was Woo Jin. His wasn't so much a coma, but a prison of guilt. He shut everyone out and stopped maturing as a person emotionally. So they really are emotionally at the same age as well as the same physical age right now. I love this drama so much for its heart and humor as well as great life lessons. Plus I'm learning so many quotes thanks to Jennifer Poppins. You'll know what I mean if you treat yourself to this wonderful show.

Shin Hye Sun is a great actress too but is it just me that didn't feel any chemistry between them (yet)? I think Chan and Ahjumma are more compatible compare to Poop Ahjussi and Seo Ri

Jennifer Aug 02 2018 1:08 am Among the dramas that were also showing recently and those that were released the same time as Still 17, this is by far the best. It's so refreshing to see an actor like Shin Hye Sun who is not the aegyo type but a really talented actress (watch her in Stranger, a totally different character but she's excellent in it). I love her character here, so relatable and likeable! Even though the plot may have been cliche' already, it's still interesting and every episode is something to look forward to. Btw, love the love square there... others might not agree with me, but I'm so excited with the chemistry between Chan and Seo Ri.. Poop Ahjussi, still waiting for that spark..maybe on later episodes.. With Doc, i think it's gonna be heartbreaking... Lastly, Jennifer is the best <3

Not only are the main casts great at their roles, but the plot was exceptional, I laugh and cry as the plot takes me. Now I'm hooked on this, better news for me is this drama will not end until its 40th episode. Awesome-sauce!!!

I just wish our Woo Jin would hurry up and realize that he had mistaken her friend as her, and show his love to Ms. Seo Ri..... <3, LOVE!!!!!

And shout out to #Terry, #Air89, #Dutches #Someday, I literally said the same thing watching this marvelous drama.

Are there bizarre bots out there trying to push this show down or people who are just basing their ratings on the description vs actually watching the first two episodes (actually four 35min)? The overwhelming majority of people love this show because it's so rare nowadays to find such a warm and relaxing yet interesting and funny show to watch where the whole entire family can love. It's the best show I've seen in years since Master's Sun in terms of humor and heart.

I don't know but there's something about this drama that gives me happiness and excitement at the same time..The female lead is just.....a gem!I started to like her in her drama,my golden life,with thatdrama drama.She became my favorite actress,beating song hye gyo and kim tae hee and jun ji hyun,who have always been my favorite actress.Hahah!ps.first time to like the male lead.I ddint like him in temperature of love nor all of his dramas,but here,he's so hot!!!or maybe i'm being biased because he's being paired with shin hye sun.Haha.Anyway,first two eps are nice,cool and lovable!!

There's not one character in this show that isn't interesting or funny. It funny and silly while still being a smart, well-written show. The acting is great as well. Shin Hye Sun is hilarious and I think this will make her a huge star.

Nee Jul 25 2018 4:09 pm This drama is so so so so good, a true surprise. Idk something about it makes it very special. The actors are not the most famous but they are amazing, I love new faces. The story is original but not super unrealistic, its cute, really funny (especialy thanks to PHS, she is such a good actress, she can make me cry and then make me laugh) touching and mysterious. I can't for the next episodes. I think its gonna be one of my top 5 drama of the year. ♡♡♡

LKB Jun 06 2018 7:59 am Fantastic director across many genres and a good writer who improves steadily as She Was Pretty showed (especially good in comedic works which this NEEDS some of since otherwise the whole title-plot and synopsis could get too sad, too heavy)...

I can certainly see, even without knowing the script contents, why two immensely talented leads took it... My only concern is wow they look like siblings-even before seeing them side by side I saw angles of them in Golden Life/Temp of Love and the Gianna Jun/Lee Min Ho mermaid show/Duel and thought both times they should play a brother and sister... Kdramas are so obsessed with romance and parent-child relationships they rarely highlight sibling ones with siblings being the leads...

I am glad Ahn Hyo Seop took this in all reality... Sure, he is wildly popular and veterans like Kim Won Hae can guide a goldfish well enough to memorize a script in Korean ;) but especially beside Kim You Jung, honestly, with her immense experience despite her age, Yoon Gyun Sang (if he takes the role) is a much better option for the lead-especially now that they probably feel pressed for time because of its delay (it would be wonderful to have Clean With Passion for Now air after Life which will likely end at the start of September; otherwise, it won't be until November or later).

Back to 30/17... I really hope they make it somewhat light-lots of trauma-drama of late and much lightness amidst it is needed to balance it out. Either way, I know whatever the script offers this leading lady and man will totally rock it and improve upon it, even, and I trust the director who has made good scripts phenomenal and okay ones good-his 52 years on this earth have quite a good contribution (Pinocchio probably the most acclaimed, The Time We Were Not In Love also fantastic in that year...I Can Hear Your Voice really the first role of depth for LJS who clearly respected this fellow to be a lead in another production of his just over a year later!), Gapdong a totally different world but handled remarkably, Cheondamdong Alice admittedly a show that repulsed me but it is because the characters are inherently supposed to be repulsive so the director, while choosing something quite risky, did his job so well I still cringe thinking of it! The only lackluster show on his resume for me was the little 4-ep coproduction w/a Chinese streaming site, Gogh's Starry Night...catchy enough music to be stuck in my head but while it had great talent, the writing was pretty lame (but SBS ultimately gets to choose your work as long as they give you your paycheck!)... Anyway, it is going to be exciting, and Ahn seems more suited for this set than to be beside Kim You Jung...granted, it will be pretty funny if that tiny girl is paired with our giant Rebel YGS!

One thing I can be sure that whatever plot as they deliver sincerity in their acting, the drama will be saved. I like all the dramas of Se-Jong, dark role or romantic and sensitive. Amazing actor! Shin Hye Sun was very good in second role (Forever Young, Five enough), and the last main role in My Golden LIfe was just superb.

Kim May 07 2018 1:05 am I thought Shin Hye Sun had really funny scenes in She was Pretty, the writer for 30 but 17's last show. That outhouse scene with SHS was hilarious. Though they wrote her character to be a mini antagonist, after that scene, she started to grow on me. Once I saw SHS in Five is Enough then went back to watch She was Pretty, I appreciated that character and SHS's comedic timing even more.

I hope this writer has improved a lot-SWP certainly showed improvement over prior works but the director has usually had much better success than the writer (objective and subjective ie better ratings And to me better quality)... SHS only has the little 2-ep TV movie w/LJS on her plate right now but she is in high demand after My Golden Life+LotBS... I hope the writing is solid. If it is, the actors will soar. If not, it will weigh them down.
