Set within the entertainment world, employees work for a star and try to make that person shine.
Oh Han-Byeol (Lee Sung-Kyung) is the PR team leader of a management company. She has excellent skills in speech and crisis management.
Gong Tae-Sung (Kim Young-Dae) is the top actor of the management company where Oh Han-Byeol works. He is loved by people due to his image of a kind and polite person. But, Gong Tae-Sung has a different side. He has a strong desire to win and a hot temper.
Oh Han-Byeol and Gong Tae-Sung bicker over pretty much everything, but their relationship develops romantically.

You guys should watch first the series and trust me you not gonna regret watching them and you'll know how sweet, lovely and cute this series is. Helppppp!!! I can't move on from Oh Han Byul and Gong Tae Sung. ?❤️
erene Apr 24 2024 3:36 am I just finished watching this story and I think I have recovered from namlee couple syndrome hahaha. This story is not heavy and just relaxed. I like. even though sung kyung is older than young dae but the chemistry between them is very good and matching. This story doesn't look cringe or cliche like some other love stories. no conflict is too high and no antagonist character is too cruel. I also learned a lot about the artists and the companies that take care of them. It's true, it's not easy to be an actor. not everyone likes us. even if we don't do anything wrong with them. I also like the couples in this drama. but between ha young and yeo sung, I think they are a bit awkward even though they are lovers. maybe because ha young is in love with his own senior so there is less chemistry between them. Lawyer Do also fell out of love and was rejected by Han Byul, I didn't think he was in love with his best friend hahaha. so now I don't think I can move on from couple younglee huwaaa because they are too cute. omo kiyowo ahhhhhh. wait for me to see another story of lee sung kyung with kim young kwang and then the syndrome will be cured hehehe.
Miss Dan Mar 13 2024 7:51 pm This drama is soo good, especially the writing. At first i thought this gonna be some cheesy cringe famous and rich main lead fallin in love with some basic girl. But turns out that this drama is soo much more, the reveal of every "villain" is similar to an anime where there is an arc. When that arc finished, the new one takes it place. Lee Sung Kyung acting here is soo cute and Kim Young Dae is perfect for the clingy and yet bully boyfriend. I recommend you if you want something light, funny, and enjoyable drama.

However, they lacking connect between bad guys, which not logicial when some bad guys have photos that only in GTS's house, although the first bad woman give up? KYD acting just terrible and ruining the character, he just can't do as the male lead now, he need to work at supporting actors more. Wish someone like Nam Ji Hyuk or Rowoon will handle this character well. KYD acting just so behind a lot of supporting actor in this drama. Lacking chemistry of main couple, but all supporting couples did so well, their characters also more interesting than the main couple. Kang Si-Duk really handsome in this, he also lacking acting skills but his handsome is suitable for the GTS's character. I just can't find the connection between GTS and KYD acting. He always overacting, boring same style through dramas to another (even same hairstyle). Lee Jung Shin acting improved alot, he deserve more lead role.

1. No excess drama: no makjang, no crazy villain long-drawn-out plot, no unnecessary breakups or angst, and no timeskip!
2. Every single character grew on me.
3. Comedy had me laughing out loud.
4. No annoying love triangles, rivals, or toxic relationship behaviours.
Just soooo much I loved and appreciated in the storytelling.

Got a little disappointed that Ki Ppeum and Di Hyeok did not get a lot more screen time during the past 2 episodes. I felt they have more chemistry than the leads. Their interaction hits different. When they're together they really look like legit husband and wife.

This was a solid drama. Lee Sung Kyung is a 10 and I love her acting. I did get a little bleahh during the height of the stalking portion but that's simply because I preferred the acting and execution during the more comedic toned episodes.
Episode 15 and 16 were 2 of the best scripted rom-com drama eps I've seen. I Laughed and swooned the whole time and it was all very satisfying in the end. Please enjoy.

SmileBoy EFF OFF Jun 25 2023 9:50 am I know this is supposed a light - hearted drama, and it is! I laughed out loud at some scenes and I'm enjoying it in general. However, those stalkers / psychos / low lives are really hitting my nerves. I'm so annoyed and I think this is the first time for so long that I genuinely feel anger towards the housekeeper and the ugly smile boy. I'm now in ep 12 and I'm still sooooo annoyed with them. Sigh. Wish they get karma so bad and to d-word.
I only hope good things for Gong Tae Sung! Please. I hope the ff eps are good ones and everything is going to fall in better places. Please.......

lannie May 13 2023 7:08 pm This show is really good, but I wanted to come here and give a trigger warning for anyone else who might need it, as I know that I would've liked to have known about this sooner: episodes 13 and 14 deal heavily with the suicide of a celebrity character. It's not necessarily a spoiler as it's something that was hinted at earlier in the show, but these episodes really dive into that event.
If needed, in my opinion, you can definitely skip through the scenes that go into it a lot. As long as you know the gist, the plot still stands and you'll be fine just watching the other scenes.
I know that I wasn't emotionally prepared to watch these scenes after recent events, so I hope that this comment can help anyone else out there in my situation.

Lee Mar 31 2023 4:59 am I thought LSK & KYD are great together. Both are really good in this kdrama, with their naturalness & good looks. KYD does have the acting chops with good comedic timing too. LSK has a natural sweet look which makes her really versatile. I do really enjoy this rom-com kdrama very much, except the multiple Chanel endorsements.

I enjoy the drama, especially when there are Uhm Ki-Joon and Bong Tae-Gyu in ep 13! Kinda feels like a mini reunion of Penthouse actors XD

I wonder what could be difficult for her to be in a character.. Kim Yoon Hye is another one star that always caught my breath, her aura and her face is so shining. I know she is beautiful as goddess but even in a nerfed manly hair, she is still so gorgeous!! I love the story, I watched this after Gaus Electronic hoping to find a similar comedy drama since Gaus is just too short to enjoy. Turn out this Sh**ting Stars drama is just different somehow. Btw, why do I keep misreading those ** into "Shitting Stars"? LOL

Bored viewer Nov 06 2022 8:30 am I was really interested in this drama as it offers a view into celebrity management. But really, I see nothing in this to keep me watching. I skipped since ep 1, trying to reach ep5 to see if there’s anything. But nothing. Watching the tired female lead (even I like the actress), boring male lead, and others who stalk celebrities and try to write up a Jung story to the moment of breaking down is really unmotivating. What should we do with our life in this reality? Maybe I will come back and try to learn more, but for now it is just too hard.

It's one of kdramas that I watch til the last episode, I usually stop at ep 10 lol. Kim Young Dae is one talented young actor, hope he gets great projects ahead. And Yoon Jong Hoon is my new crush! He has such sweet smile <3

Ellie Oct 19 2022 6:04 am Great idea. The trouble is the lead guy Kim Young Dae just is not handsome or attractive and has no personality: He is tall and skinny with a pointy face and no animation. Seems to be the Korean look these days. The story has potential as the celebrity management industry is very interesting. Yoon Jong Hoon is fantastic. Some other cast good, Make more of this cut throat industry, nearly every star seems to have a different agent. There must be a lot of back stabbing and poaching going on. Could be fantastic.
gee Oct 18 2022 2:49 am i so love this romcom, i really like lee sung kyung :) it was hilarious and the story doesn't just focus on the main couple but to all the characters..i guess it's shows how the real thing happens in the entertainment industry and how the media should fact-check before publishing an article so it wont ruin a person, it can make or break.

I was keep on negative thinking that Oh Han-Byul and Gong Tae-Sung would have breakup in the middle of the series since they are dated quite early compared to the most romcom drama but glad that it actually not happened.
Also after the main lead couple, Yoon Jae-Hyeon and Jin Yoo-Na couple is such a scene stealer! Also the way the CEO calls Yoo-Na is soo memorable lol Yoooooona-yaa?

Do Soo-Hyeok really had "game" that was expected for his character.

Kim Young Dae acting improves a lot in this drama compared to his previous works. His ads photoshoot in the drama are all beautifully done just like real ads. For those finding a light drama to relax and laugh, this one is for you.
Pinkmilk Jul 16 2022 4:43 pm Just finished this. Although not my favorite drama, it was great enough to be my comfort drama during my stressful work life. I advise you guys to try it. Most of the cast are from Penthouse and some of them even made a Cameo, which for me, is the best scene :))

A must watch!! take it from me who's watching kdramas for yearss. Loved Lee Sung Kyung even more she's extra gorg in this, and also huhu I didn't realize that Kim Young Dae was the lead in the comic book in Extraordinary You proving how he totally nailed his character in this drama.

There are many scenes that made me laugh and squeal. I love all of the casts and the main leads have amazing chemistry!! Love the OST too. Gonna miss this drama so much..

The first couple episodes are slow and I had to ignore all the ‘africa’ scenes because of how problematic they were, but that aside, 10/10!!!! If you’re looking for something too good to not binge, then give this a chance. You’ll be in for a very fun, pleasant, and exciting ride!!!!

it was nice to see plot development, changes in characters and in relations between them.
if you are lonley, sad or having difficult times - its worth to watch it. it makes you warm and improves hum9our.
i totally recommend it!
plus it was funny to see that kim young dae can act so well. i remwmber him from extraordinary you where his character was stiff and boring but here he showed many different faces and vibes as actor.

Also I would have liked to see Gong's mom with the Starforce president while she could still remember. Really loved the team leaders interactions once a couple. The Africa matter could have been fixed with an appropriate historic update of communication and information and the threat of Gong to flash himself could have been played off with appropriate self reflecting comeback.. Loved all the characters so hoped they all fight on with acting. Love to see all get another shot.

Eme alh Jun 11 2022 6:20 pm I give this drama 6 or 7 out of 10, I really liked the behind the scenes of the entertainment industry but I feel like they only brought the male lead to have a character who is obsessed with the female lead, felt like their chemistry is lacking and forced. poor guy, he is more than an obsessed guy. The drama should have shown a variety sides of his character instead, mentioning the idea that he top tier actor. even the female lead felt forced in the scenes with him, she seemed cold, even when he was telling her that he loved her from before. No offense for sung kyung though, she is a very great actress. But I meant her character in the drama. Before watching the drama and watching the trailers it felt so promising but after watching it in the middle it felt so boring.

I'm going to miss this drama badly when it ends this weekend. Such a happy and cute drama~

I look forward to it each week. It’s interesting to see what an agency has to go through to protect the image of their actors however pretty ridiculous how much an actor has to prove themselves over one small rumor. One day the fans love them the next they do not. Look forward to the continued success of this drama.

Even 우리 Yoona and Jae hyun have a lot more chemistry. Kwon Myung-Hee's role was absolutely pointless to me.

Love how they develop and give story arcs for each of the cast, who all do a good job in portraying their characters!

xyhai May 24 2022 4:13 am there are those who say that the genre has changed in ep 10 but for me it's not, there's still "sweetness". what was shown in ep 10 is still part of the story so there are scenes that others say turned into thriller, we can say that thriller increased a bit but the whole genre hasn't changed it's still romantic comedy, and for me it's understandable why there are such scenes because it says in the synopsis "they are the people who clean up the mess of artists and of course they are also the ones who protect the artists" because in real life there are people like that, there are stalker they stalk artists, idols and of course the PR teams, reporters, managers are always there to protect them and for me that's also what the drama/scenes in ep 10 want to convey , they want to say that what they are doing is not just cleaning up the mess but also protecting the actors, and this drama shows how they can solve it <33 that's why I love this drama more !!!

Za May 21 2022 8:31 pm Finally, I am giving this drama a try this week, despite the low rating recorded. Honestly, I was not expect that I will be hooked by this drama. However, after ep 5, so far I really find that the stroryline is interesting and refreshing, and it seems like it really gives you the overview on the works of an entertainment label through its detail. I am not a fan of both LSK and KYD. I saw very limited amount of their works previously, but I think I can feel their chemistry through their daily banter/fight in this drama. Good job!

I wonder why both main lead hated each other, especially Han Byeol. Overtime we figured out each other reason to act that way. Gong act that way because he is hard to express himself (his background story that is going to be explained after episodes 8), that is why he found out rather awkward to care for others. Han byeol act that way because... you can find it in the last scene of episode 6 :( Both of them are so hard on themselves. I love the story.

1. Many huge named actor but i only fall to sung kyung and jong hun acting. Yoon hye and sojin also quite good. But Others actor expression was great but somehow it feel just an ACT.
2. Young dae does not had the main actor charm, he suppose to be perfect brat but most of the time in drama he look like a fool.
3. Many romantic scene but none could make my heart beat faster , means the chemistry are off the table.

Lee Karylle May 01 2022 5:28 pm Watched 4 EPs today and cant help but feel Kim Young Date lacks chemistry with Sung Kyung. I'm seeing Ahn Hyo Seop in his role. The 1st EP dragged alot and they were trying hard to be funny. All the actors were good or is it just the script. I dunno maybe because we've seen the fast paced script in Business Proposal thats why there's a comparison.
I'll watch this till the end for Lee Sung Kyung and I'm hoping the next episodes will have a better progress.

She Ireland Apr 24 2022 7:17 pm I like the idea behind this show. But so far there are too many characters and it’s hard to keep up with who’s who. And the dialogue and things popping up on the screen are so fast that subtitles don’t work - they pop up for one second and then there’s a new pop up. Unreadable unless I keep stopping and starting which is annoying. However the story has promise. It is taking a long long time to set up but I’ll persist another few episodes and see how it goes. I love the actresses and the female lead in particular. I like the second male lead more right now. The male lead is a good actor etc but the character as written seems petty shallow vindictive and overall unlikeable. But so was lee min hos character in Boys over flowers so I’ll wait and see how it goes. But my expectations are high after the long build up. It better be a good story. Not immature male treating his love interest badly for fun/attention/revenge. That’s abusive. He better mature up fast.

Plot seems average, nothing special to be honest but honestly that can be good because there will be a surprise effect if it surpasses the expectations ^-^ One thing is sure, visual overload ^-^
