Plot
Yoo Ji-Yeon (Kim Yunjin) is a prominent lawyer, who has yet to lose a case. Yoo Ji-Yeon then takes part in her daughter's field day. During a race involving the parents, Yoo Ji-Yeon's daughter disappears.
Later in the day, Yoo Ji-Yeon receives a phone call from the man who abducted her daughter. The man makes it clear that he isn't interested in her money. Rather, he tells her that the only way she will ever see her daughter again is to defend a five time convicted felon who is appealing his conviction for rape and murder. Ji-Yeon has only seven days before his trial ends.

King Pup 1722 May 06 2023 11:00 am I saw this movie years ago but decided to watch it again as it’s offered on my streaming service. I’d mostly forgotten the various scenes, so it was like watching an almost new film again.
It’s a cleverly made film, though the pace is intentionally hectic, to reflect the short time period that the storyline occurs in. As a viewer, you can’t help but root for Kim Yunjin as she’s being blackmailed to do everything she can for the convicted felon, in order to save her daughter. Though we ultimately discovered what the motivation of the person was, who blackmailed Yunjin, it was nevertheless a cowardly act, to force an innocent party into fighting the legal/criminal system to assist the person, to get justice (in the person’s eyes).
