Zeus I think this drama was very good, I liked it a lot! Great story, great action and superb acting! At times quite cruel but that makes this drama. Well done!

Future kdrama star I'm on episode 7. This is one of the best action kdramas I've seen in recent time. Its as good as L.U.C.A. and Alice. It's got action, violence, funny parts, evil villans, family rivalry, attractive lead characters and some mystery. There's a couple of plot holes but what is a kdrama without a plot holes. Lol they definitely had a big budget for fake blood there's more blood in this drama than Blood, the vampire drama haha! Don't know why this drama had low ratings. Its a drama to enjoy

Mercy I so much love the movie the suspense is killing but I don't like h9w it ends at all it's not detailed we don't even know the real villain at last I wish there's a season 2

Park Min The worst writing for an action drama I've ever seen. The script is truly abysmal and when the ML turned to an emo kid, it reached the bottom of the abyss. Not even the cast performance was that good. About 85% of Netflix originals suffer severely in all aspects. They are shot nicely and look flashy, that's it.

Yoongi I stopped watching on Ep. 9. I watch this because of Choi Jin-Hyuk.

The villain (Hwang Deuk-Gu) over power. So bored to watch it, he is too cruel.

ajumma fangirl I’m having difficulty continue watching this. They’re strong but there are times that I can’t see some sense if urgency even in dangerous situations.

It gets frustrating at times and will prolly finish by skipping some scenes.

Gg I love to see Choi Jin-Hyuk's eyes when he smile... So cute and attractive for me...

G This drama is so bad. I only watched it because I love Choi Jinhyuk. I agree, this is one of the worst ocn dramas of 2020..

Chan I can't wait to see the next season. I hope it has more Bradley in it too!

Nancy Anderson This show is awesome. Please have a second season. Great action. Great talent. Great heroism. I had to read the subtitles; but, I still loved every minute of it. I wish they would do an English version with the same actors. I loved them all! I rate it a 10 even though I was disappointed in the chief.

diosa seriously? inhave seen a lot of villains in kdramas...but the one here is not even human, he's like a devil!!! to the truest sense of the word...and the other characters don't seem to have their brains working!!! even the main cgaracter can't seem to grasp the situation and keeps doing things that harms other people...

KibNa Perhaps people who only watch the L.A version will be quite disappointed with it. But after reading the Webtoon version, I found that the L.A version also has good and bad points. (Spoiler warning for people who haven't read webtoon yet)

+ Good points:

> The supporting characters and Choi Ye Won have at least the highlights in the L.A. version The other members of the Fire Ant in Webtoon (in the W version, the Fire Ants don't change their name to Argos) have no plot point except Hwang Deuk Gu and Dal Gu (these two are siblings in the session version W). Choi Ye Won L.A ver has more ambition and personality, in W ver she simply has the name of boss wife and ... over.

> Hwang Deuk Gu is actually more interesting and has a "sympathetic" past compared to Webtoon's version. Probably because he is a mix between Deuk Gu W (someone with interesting vision but simple motives) and Kang Gi Beom W (someone with a history of hatred of the government). Yes, Kang Gi Beom in the W version is the main antagonist of Rugal 2: Zero Day's Act 1. Instead of forgiving Director Choi and returning to the team in the L.A version, Gi Beom became an assassin and formed the Shadow Squad.

> Kang Gi Beom L.A ver develops and builds a brotherhood and friendship with other teammates (Tae Woong, Gwang Cheol and Bradley). In W ver, Gi Beom only develops a relationship with Song Mi Na, which is complicated because their relationship is not simple at the level of colleagues and friends, but not too romantic; both humorous and profound. Although Tae-Woong W ver talked and gave advice to the MC, it was still too little and blurred overall.

>Han Tae Woong L.A ver has a really traumatic past and a complicated personality. In Tae-Woong W ver, there is the simple past of being a gangster, the pain is unknown and simply strong.

> Gwang Cheol L.A ver is not as smart as W ver but he has at least emotional development and closeness.

+ Now are the bad points of L.A ver compared to W ver:

> Hwang Deuk Gu W ver is a simple villain, but at least he is truly terrifying both outside and inside himself, more elaborate plan. As for L.A ver, he was more interesting than frightening, and the plan was successful but very ambiguous, he won within the framework of the script, not the plot.

> The villainous mutants of L.A ver except Seol Min Jun and Hwang Deuk Gu are very weak and almost a small counterweight to Rugal Team. In W ver, they're not only strong and fearsome, and they really overwhelm Rugal Team if they're not lucky or teamwork.

> Seol Min Jun W ver, though not as empowered as L.A ver, at least helps Rugal and his allies defeat the Fire Ants. As for L.A ver, he only saved Gi Beom once when he was cornered by Deuk Gu, the rest was a waste.

> Song Mi Na L.A ver more and more hatred for Hwang Deuk Gu but could not take revenge. Her character L.A ver seems to be a mix of "new heroine" when her father was killed by a villain, ironically Gi Beom W ver. At least Mi Na W ver killed Hwang Deuk Gu at the last minute to avenge her colleague's death.

> Director Choi L.A ver was too fuzzy about why he defied tricks to deal with Argos. His Webtoon ver has at least a more traumatic and motivating past. . . .

Overall, the L.A Rugal version is an imperfect KDrama, but at least it does improve some of the plot points (though not completely).

Nia K. Haryanto One of Choi Jin Hyuk's Impressive drama. Some episode made me boring. But it's ok, coz I like Choi Jin Hyuk. Cann't wait for his next dramas :)

Toni Episode 3 ruins it all. secret teamwork between kang ki beom and bradley behind director choi its a worse storyline.

Mae Helene The storyline was very creative and amazing. The main cast also with the supporting roles made it to the highest form of action with different kinds of twist every episode. They gave a true justice to the story. I hope there’s more...will wait for Rugal Season 2????????

Meirose I watched until ep 4 then i stop. Its boring for me.

priapemurung One of the worst OCN dramas. I watched this drama because of Choi Jin-Hyuk. I thought Rugal would be as good as the Tunnel, but the reality was bad.

Yhung Kudos to the person who wrote the script, how he taught about those ideas, the science world and technology but the way things ended were not supposed to be. The writer had great ideas but did not end well. Right from time I did not trust me choi actions because I feel there's something behind the mask and him killing himself I don't understand. Deu k gu supposed to be killed by ye won alongside with mi joon i.e won should be the main master controlling mi, mi joon body shouldn't response to all weapons and injections taken into his body and he should malfunction just as the way beom did and he overcame it. The way deuk ended is just too plain make him pay for all his sins and he should be given a painful death sentence by mi joon. Why beom's wife killed herself is so useless. After that ragul should be made known and become should be the leader. I also feel beom and won should end up together. I don't expect season two to be out because what will season talk about. Let it just end in the last episode Note: The killing and the violence is too much.

Stupid drama I stopped watching after few minutes. Shooting in the head and extreme violence was pathetic.

ppalgan many things still unresolved though in the last episode. feel like many plot hole here and there while watching it. who the hell killed susan? how did seol minjoon died and why suddenly his corpse found in the place where susan has been shot? why the hell choi geuncheol became the bad guy and kill himself?? anyway, I don't think there will be a second season from this. rugal wasn't perfect and the storyline became weird in the last few episodes, but I didn't hate it though. I still have fun watching this and the main characters have an interesting background stories too. their interactions are cute too while they work together in rugal. not many love lines in here, but I feel like kang kibeom and choi yewon will be great couple based on how they interact with each other!

Kc Val Hwang Deuk Gu is indeed a super villain but he still makes it impossible for him to be hated. The action crew were spectacular.

16 hours? No big deal

KdramaFanatic [Comment contains spoilers] I loved the drama from episodes 1-16. There were a lot of plot holes towards the end (like how was Minjun killed and what happened to planting a bomb in him? He was just found dead where Susan had been shot and killed; where did her body go?) but otherwise it was very fun to watch the characters’ interactions and their relationships. I love how strategic every mission was. The only issue I sort of have was that missions were carried out too easily xD The choreography for all the action scenes were not terrible but the cuts and edits made them look choppy. Bradley and Susan also had a ton of access to a lot of things. I also felt like there weren’t a ton of bad guys, especially for a criminal organization as large and infamous as Argos — with its multiple bosses. Except for money, the title, and Argos headquarter, it didn’t seem like Ye-Won inherited much... I understood why Gibeom’s wife thought she had to die but at the same time, wasn’t Gibeom’s eyes pretty good at reading people’s moves before they make them? He didn’t see the earpiece in his wife’s ear and couldn’t tell she was going to do something stupid? I also want to know if the team ever recovered the piece from his wife’s ear. And for someone who didn’t want Gibeom to lose everything again, it didn’t make sense why she’d kill herself in front of Gibeom (then again, the drama has to once again show us how manipulative and twisted Deuk-Gu is.) Sigh* As for the Chief, I had a feeling he wasn’t entirely sincere with the team. He was more “calculated” than “emotional”, I even told my brother during the earlier episodes that I had a feeling he’d end up betraying them so I’m not shock he abandoned them for Rugal. After all, he did devote 10 years of his life to it. I also had a feeling that Detective Yang may have been the one to put Yeojin down (he was always avoiding the topic of Gibeom and always repeating “he’s dead” like a broken record. The first time was convincing, afterwards it’s just too obvious that he was hiding something). I figured he drugged Yeojin but they never made it clear whether or not he actually attacked her with the knife or if he cut her after she’s out. But since he never denied ambushing her, I guess he did cut and stab her. I’m honestly glad there wasn’t a lot of romance, would have wasted too much time when certain parts are already rushed) and they actually made the bad guy super hateful and evil haha. Overall I really love the friendship and teamwork <3 The side characters are hella cute and hilarious as well. Funny how I thought Bradley was gonna be cold and strict but Susan was the scary one xD I wished Minjun had mattered more to Gibeom and Rugal though. He did an amazing job blindsiding Argos and Deuk-Gu. Dr. Oh is awesome too, I was hoping he’d live since I thought Deuk-Gu’s man was going to kill him when they attacked Dr. Oh and Mina. After 16 episodes, I don’t really see a season 2 but I’d definitely watch it. It was a cliffhanger but at the same time, I think we can sort of see what kind of ending they’ll get and how they’ll carry on living as life progresses.

Ryu Samuël Personally I didn't hate the drama. Unlike everyone in this comment section I didn't like the first episode because it felt rushed and too cringy but I kinda liked the next. I watched it without expectations because everyone said that it's boring but I was not bored. But the drama was not a perfect one I know. There are too many incoherence and plot holes that can't be ignored and too many cringy situations. My favorite character is Choi Ye-Won. She was perfect during all the episodes and I don't understand why she did end up being arrested for something she didn't do. She was not the one who killed the former chairman of Argos but it was Hwang Deuk-Gu's work. She was not a real villain so I don't understand why she ended up being imprisoned. Also why did Ki-Beom's wife killed herself? It's was so stupid. She didn't have a solid reason to do so. After being presumed dead and alive again why did the scenarists choose to kill her again? There were a lot of opportunities everyone could kill the main villain but why they are all stupid to let it go? Everyone felt like they have great cards against him and they seem very confident to face Hwang Deuk-Go (Madam Jang, Bong Man Cheol...) but in the end they were killed by the main villain or they killed themselves. Overall again I didn't hate the drama but I think it was poorly written. Too many scenario opportunities they missed (a possible romance between Ki-Beom and Choi Ye-Won, a love triangle between Mi-Na and the two others, ....)

Issasy Excellent drama, well done. Please season 2

Bad drama adaptation Not every book/comic can be adapted well into live action and Rugal stands best example. I haven't read the hit comic so I was awaiting a great drama here since the leads n villain are good choices. It just ends there, nothing beyond. The actors keep doing their best but nothing can be salvaged when the script n screenplay have no proper direction. A serious waste of good material.

Shbal__ This was worth watching , thanks ocn for your great action dramas .

Ryu Samuël Choi Ye Won is so cute

Zane SPOILERS! Really liked the drama until the last 4 episodes where it just went downhill really quickly. Terrible plot and a lot of it doesn't make sense. The wife killing herself was just dumb. The chief suddenly becoming a bad guy and killing himself was dumb too. The way the bad guy was defeated at the end was just plain dumb too. All those experimental drugs didn't make sense, the test subject was never fully resolved. Writer is sh*t.

And ripping out that dumb chip was to remove his memory or the rogue AI, but less than half an episode later he regained all his memory and his AI at the end too... What was the whole bloody point? LOL

Sander I agree with others here this stated out on a high note but quickly lost it's way. The ending was so bad it's as if the writer just gave up. What a waste.

David I don't hate this show. I actually liked the first few episodes. And then it went downhill from then. What a waste of a terrific performance from Park Sung Woong. I can't say the same about Choi Jin Hyuk, who's been typecast in this role for too long that he's honestly getting boring to me.

Martin terrible ending. The last forty minutes are a waste of time.

Laween This drama was great. I think the story was good, interesting and included some great action scenes. I believe the Park Sung-Woong played a great villain. the Rugal team was great too. I liked what they did with the story and having some twists at the end. I hope a season 2 comes out too as I enjoyed it quite allot.

Gnet Choi Jin-Hyuk's hair style is irritating, one eye is covered with bangs. Is it the latest craze in Korea? So funny that most of the male actors' hair are with bangs. One more thing, hairs are always neatly fixed even when they are fighting and waking up from sleep.

Abigail This drama is so interesting can't wait for the remaining two episodes.

Sofiane Yahia Filouane Why are you all hating on this drama this drama is good, it gets to the point, it's not slow, it's interesting I dont know what you guys are on about.

Shie This is Fantastic Four.

DRDE The series started off well, but after that .....

Kelvin Tan Please do not waste even a minute on this show. There are better K-drama out there. If this is the last drama on Netflix, I rather just smash my TV.

Mary The first ep sounds so promising. The story is ok but not spectacular. They're dancing around the bush. The progress are too slow for me. The casts are good. Ratings are normal for cable drama. 7/10

Nagabami The first episode was so interesting to me. Because it has this hollywood aesthetic in it. But the story (Episode) progress the series became too cliche. The antagonist always wins till the last 2 episode of the series. This kind of storyline is overrated!!

aris ep 1 is very interesting but as we go through the series, the plot is getting more annoying and weird. i stopped on ep 6 bc i feel like im just waiting for the episode to end. they could have made some upgrades as of now but the story goes too slow and the main characters keeps getting beaten up by argos.

also choi ye won acts bad..? maybe they chose this actress to do a "very pretty woman and also very intelligent" but all i can get from vibe is she's kind of stupid.

this is not worthy im sorry 5/10

ppalgan the first episodes started out well but honestly the storyline turned out to be weird nowadays

Nate Storyline is total trash. Look at the ratings and you'll understand.

bloomsbury the rugal team uniform remind me of starterk movie ...., just starting episode one. hoping all comment said not worth it to watch is wrong.

Ryu Samuël Ratings ? It's a cable TV drama so the ratings are normal.

Jenn What's with the ratings ?. I feel bad for the actors who put an effort in this drama.

martin Episode 13 is just cruel.

lol I think I was expecting too much but this show is like a R rated version of Power Rangers I have to turn off my brain when watching it.

Missy Rugal episode 1 is hollywood-ish, action drama, nice. Then stop watching, waiting for many episodes to come. Then people are saying that rugal is not good enough to watch. Down-hearted. But now I rewatch it from episode 1-12, not that bad. Quite good actually if you like action movie than drama, eventhough Rugal as action drama still too much talking yes, but what you expect from TV series right? Anyway, after watching episode 1-12, it's quite good to watch. People that said rugal is not worthy to watch, may be they don't like action movie, so it's not for them. For action lovers, rugal is quite good. Just watch, don't think too much about the plot. It's entertainment, no need to think about it much, just enjoy. Hahaha.

Sam What a special force? you have to be more lion to catch a lion. So disappointed. Sometimes i was so glad whenever the villains won the game.

Danyah to be honest, I'm kinda disappointed about this drama i was waiting for it for so long but defiantly not want i expected, 70% talking 20% Kang Ki-Beom is alon and 10% the other team talking or walking lol the genera is defiantly action but the action in it is 10% only, the only reason i'm watching this coz im fan of the cast and the acting is good.

Dane I love watching this. Very interesting, i love their locations too

Davido This series is crap, regret ever starting it... I gave up at episode 6, I'm done. Never watching again, the script writer is high asf, terribly written, this is nonsense, they should just stop, no more please, I beg of you, don't air this nonsense no more

Shuuchan the one who play Choi Ye Won is a failure. her acting irritated me huhu she actes so baddddd!!! Love the main actors actresses but the script is wrong, so boring :((

Army-Hyung Okay so just an update: we are now on episode 10 and much to my dismay, there is still no hope for the protagonist and his team. They are still excruciatingly useless (verging on stupid). By now, I would have expected any of them to have discovered something more with their abilities and are now discovering their power ups but all you see is they get surrounded every damn episode and get beaten to a pulp which I'm not even sure if it's necessary to move the story. I suspect they're uncovering things slowly expecting more eps but they might be in for a surprise. At this point not even sure if I'm going to finish this 1 season. I feel sorry for the cast seriously.

annamaria The 4 enhanced heroes don't have functioning brains? Just follow their emotions?

Mel M. I really like this series to rate high because I love the actors, but there's something wrong with the script. I share the sentiments of the other commenters. How come the villains are 10 steps ahead?

Gnet-DeJesus The main villain is over acting. Most of the time his laughter is fake...

Chebs Starting to hate it villains always winning so imbalance

Army-Hyung I'm starting to hate it. First of all, it has a stellar cast. Everyone is good. The source material is also good. But as it unfolds, there is a clear imbalance between the villains and heroes. The villains are overly brutal and bloody and the heroes given their "enhancements" are totally useless against them because they are "not allowed" to do anything. 4 episodes in and I'm starting to get fed up by how theres enough killings but with zero retribution. I really hope the writers would do something about this. The heroes are supposed to be kick-ass.

Oh and there's one scene I truly hate- there's this scene where the heroes were shown in their hq planning their next action and they were using legos to demonstrate their next movements. It's just ridiculous because their organization is super high-tech- hell they implant bio-tech in their staff and yet all they could afford was legos while they have huge monitors and fancy computers in the room. Sigh.

NicoleCG Park Sung-Woong and Choi Jin-Hyuk in the same show? Sign me up. Love the action and sci-fi of it all.

Tori The storyline interesting, but talk too much ?...

MinYoung saranghae The story is so different from the webtoon. I regret myself because I already read it first :( can't go full enjoying the drama itself

Choori Why does the first 2 episodes so similar to the plot in Voice season 1. Same brutal killing on police officer, wife got killed by gangster. Then the same container scene with traffickers. Revenge plot. Hmmmm.

Jisoo Turtle Rabbit Kim Watching this because of CJH. The 1st episode is so lit! My heart stopped for a few seconds in some of the scenes. ? OCN is the best when it comes to crime themed drama❤️

Rada My eyes got so big when i saw Choi Jin Hyuk and Jo Dong-Hyuk ..this combination of actors is phenomenal..very good set..the sound effects are brutal..the first ep hhhmmm God i didn't even blink because i was thrilled. I can't wait to see the rest of the team and the story of this series :D

Tp The Best going on rn ?

kdramafan Does anyone know, when the 2nd OST will be released?

drama24hour so far I love this drama.. looks interesting.. can't wait for next ep.. btw this is third project jang in sub n choi jin hyuk work together ..devilish charm, justice & rugal..

Delly Combination between Main from Tunnel and Main from Life on Mars. This drama better be good. I'm looking forward to Det Kang Dong Cheol (Life on Mars) and Det Park Kwang Ho Duo.

leekimah OCN + Choi Jin Hyuk + Park Sung Woong !!!! BTW PSW : "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." XD

OCN Tunnel Serial killer(Kim Min Sang) teams up with Detective Park Gwang-Ho(CJH)

Hyperborea Very good action drama. Brilliant fighting scenes in Episode 2 and plot gets more and more interesting,

heynandho If I didn't know better, I would've though this is Japanese drama because the plot is so anime. We'll see how OCN gonna pull this one..

Narzie Seeing OCn, makes me excited. Same thoughts with others, it's gonna be really a suspense thriller action crime drama! Everytime I'm looking for that genre, I always review OCn dramas. It never disappoint me.

Grace My awaiting movie is coming out today

honeywell Bring it on! I can't wait.

LB Choi Jin Hyuk as Yang Cha, lol... sorry, the mask got me good!

This is gonna be freaking brutal, though. I can already feel the agony and stress and tension from the synopsis and OCN being its network.

It will definitely be infinitely better for CJH than Justice, though, even though both start from a point of losing family members.

Park Sung Woong's gonna be a devil again. Different kind, worse, actually...

Leila I think it's postponed to March 28th

Krus I thought this drama was supposed to air on march 16th, was it postponed or something?

Grace Can't wait...my expecting film is coming up today

Jackson Damn choi jinhyuk and jo donghyuk same team huhu can’t wait for this drama to come up

Rita So happy for Jo Dong Hyuk, he is absolutely amazing. ♥

Rizzybanks Ocn makes the best dramas

Sally OMG OMG OMG, they all look so good! I'm sooooooooo excited!!!!!

Lina Only one thing TO say.... DAEEEEBAK! I can't wait for when it comes out!

Hazyluv Wow, Choi Jin Hyuk looks damn sexy here. So excited for this.

hh the plot sounds weird but i know ocn will never disappoint. let’s support this drama !!!

Ira Another OCN work that I will watch and enjoy

Shinubi Wang His eyeballs were gouged out, his wife and child were murdered and he is being accused of murder! Once again S. Korean police are being portrayed as stupid.

Nadia I am so exciteddd the plot is so superb all character is my fav definitely I watched

Lee don't let the title or the synopsis fool you. I took a look at the webtoon version and the character Choi Jin Hyuk will be playing is a very bad ass character. The story is probably gonna be typical just like any other crime story but the character Jin Hyuk will be playing seems to be a very promising character.

what even tho this plot sounds so weird, imma watch it for choi jin hyuk!!

Vivian Omg ...choi jin wook oppa ... cant wait for this drama ... ??

Noside Wow nice plot cant wait

Lol Plot synopsis: they cut out both of his eyeballs Me: what!!! So he’s gonna be blind plotting revenge? Plot synopsis: he gains two artificial eyeballs Me: oh... he’s not gonna be blind.

aaa he's been a detective in like 5 dramas. Still going to watch though

Olivia OCN is back at it ! I really love their dramas! Choi Jin hyuk + Park sung Woong wow I can’t wait. Choi Jin Hyuk is a grown ass man who choses or refuses the projects he wants to do.

Leya Another revenge drama? But the plot does sounds very thrilling. I guess It makes sense the way he looks tend to fit these type of dramas. I still prefer him in romcoms though

kelly When i read the synopsis "they cut out his eyeballs' i was like whuuuuutt.... Anyway isn't this like his third revenge drama already.

Baitbaby The webcomic was decent but will it be the exact same because it’s quite long and has lots of betrayal toward the end

Leejiro came back here to say this drama could possibly be CJH's best drama in a while. Read a little of the webtoon so there's hope that it'll be good.

Jeongie :) Too much revenge for Choi Jin Hyuk

Nadia Wow our choi jin hyuk oppa love u!!!!!!!

Jenna He's perfect for this type of role and action type of drama. Counting down the days for it!!

Dosheyan his last ocn drama tunnel was dope I am sure this would be preety awesome as well

Elektra Sanders It's gonna be brutal!!

Neea Six Million Dollar Man with 2 artificial eyes?

Lili The plot is so extreme

Leejiro it's ridiculous how CJH is being cast in these crime and thriller dramas. I'm sure he hates it since nobody is casting him in a comedy drama.
