Plot
In the drama, Jung Yoo Mi will play Han Eun-Soo, who is a clumsy, yet positive shopping mall employee. She gets involved in a love triangle with Kang Tae-Joo, who is a penniless player that can get anything with his good looks, and Shin Joon-Hyun, who is suffering from his painful past.

Jill Nov 12 2022 1:31 pm A true gritty unforgettable classic Kdrama, like I'm Sorry, I Love You, the kind they don't make anymore. An innocent gamin falls in love with a playboy and eventually tames him through true love. I loved this drama so much when it came out that I bought the DVD set. The lead actors were paired again in 2014 in Discovery of Romance. My favorite scene in this show will always be the elevator scene. Absolutely delicious.
Terry Jul 23 2021 4:15 pm I wanted to like this but I couldn't finish it. Sorry, Eric. I don't get the S. Korean fascination with weak women that every man must protect. But she is stubborn and "doesn't want the help, but thank you for everything and why didn't you help me more or love me." Eun-Soo acted like she was surprised her mother took her money and basically sold her. She should have known, she definitely seemed that way to me. Actually, both mothers were pieces of work. I am sorry but I just didn't care and couldn't bear to continue to watch it. I would have liked to see more of Ji-Soo because she was a much more fascinating character. I also liked Hae-Lin's character.

After reading so many positive reviews I thought I would give it a try despite another typical "mean" male lead, but episode 9 just ruined it and I'm done. I really don't understand how so many women can think its romantic when a guy is violent and forces himself on a woman. Just sickening really. This drama should come with a trigger warning for those who can't handle that kind of thing.
Naki Oct 24 2020 8:44 pm Wow! This is one of the best kdramas that I have ever watched. Not only was the storyline well thought out and captivating but it was also very relastic. I'm someone who hates rewatching movies or shows I've already seen but I will definitely rewatch this a few more times.

Ppps Dec 10 2018 12:10 am The drama is just too good....the emotions and sentiments shown in the drama feel so raw and real that there were moments when I could hardly hold back my tears....the narrative of the story is deliciously complex and mature....the helplessness of the characters moved me to bits and pieces and also fall in love with them....superb drama....do recommend it to everyone.

I hope there's gonna be some kinds of happiness to tae joo and eun soo, they hurt me so much with their decisions. Na Eric Oppa saranghae. You never disappoint me with your acting skills. I fall for you for sooo many times.

Enigma Dec 11 2015 7:29 am This kind of redemption story is one in a million. Very beautiful written. Kang Tae joo, despite his asshole-ness, I still could feel symphaty for his character. I still could understand why he behaves like that. Han Eun Soo, her naive personality changed to be stronger lady but still can't forget her first love. The drama that show characters we love and hate at the same time. It's not realistic (if I could say), but the way it was written and acted make it so relatable and real. Good job for the writer and director and well done for the actors especially Eric Mun and Jung Yu Mi.
arizonagirl Aug 22 2015 2:29 am I got my answer on who killed Joon Hyuk's father in Ep 11 --- Hye Rin's dad. That is probably why he made Hye Rin and Joon Hyuk break up. They refer to each other as sister and brother, but in reality, they are not blood related. Even though he killed Joon Hyuk's father, Hye-Rin's dad raised Joon Hyuk.
I saw Discovery of Love with Eric and Jung Yi-Min and posters were referring to them being in a drama previously which is this one. I did not recognize Jung Yi-Min in this show at all as she looks different in each drama. In Discovery of Love she has lighter hair, but it appears she may have more weight on her so she looks better.
Why does Eun Soo, her mother and sister have to move out of their apartment??? Are they not renting??? So....what is the deal????

Arizona Girl Jul 31 2015 12:46 pm Help = I have only seen 8 episodes. Did Joon Hyuk's dad really commit suicide, or did someone push him off the building?? I know some one has sent photos to Joon Hyuk of the building and he had a man research the building, etc. But don't know who or why the photos were being sent if not to have Joon Hyuk find out the truth about his father. I will have to re-watch the episode again when he was talking about the accident at the building with the man.
I look Joon Huyk and feel bad for him as he has a unhappy childhood. He lost his father when he was young. I don't remember how Hye Lin's father ended up raising Joon Hyuk????
I don't like Hye Lin. She used Eric to trick Jung Hyuk into trying to get him back.
I feel bad that Joon Hyuk started to fall for Eun Soo as he maybe gets hurt at the end again.

Jessy Jun 06 2015 11:43 pm The most violent and brutal love story ever in korean drama history. Brilliant actings from all actors, especially Eric Mun. He was totally killed the role as heart broken cassanova. I would say Que Sera Sera and The Secret Love Affair are a peace of art.

Milan Jun 24 2014 4:30 am The best korean drama ever. All the actors were great especially the one who played Kang Tae Joo. He was too perfect for that role. I never found korean drama as realistic as it is but still so fascinated to watch. Korea should produce more the drama like this. Ratings doesn't guarantee the quality of a product. This drama is example for that. I was so surprised the ratings was below 10% seeing how great storyline, acting and directing. Congrats for the actors. Hope to see more their projects in the future.

Lots of reality, avoided most of the k-drama clichees - except for one huge clichee unfortunately--->>> the poor, unattractive, pathetic, weak, simpering, yet diligent and bright female lead..... Honestly the only time in a K-drama I could not find anything appealing in the lead female character..... Still, a very interesting show, w/ lots of excellent parts.... ..... ..... Great acting by Eric Moon ....

izabel Jun 08 2013 3:11 pm Unexpectedly good drama. One of the best dramas I've seen. I wonder how good was the scenario. You get to live the movie along with actors. I just finished watching this drama, and I started watching it again, slowly, to live everything from the start. Just left me speechless. Unbelievable.

Coming from someone who has watched hundreds of KDrama series, Que Sera Sera is definitely one of the best and highly recommended! The story, characters, plot twists, suspense .. etc. everything ... was so good and perfect. The series is very engaging both emotionally and objectively. Watch it, you won't regret it.
