Jinjoo Sep 01 2022 7:15 pm I am watching this bec of Sa Jun even without English sub! He really impressed me.seeing him in Secret House and My son in law's woman hence am following his old projects to keep up with him! He's a very talented actor and have a very beautiful singing voice! I hope to watch his other dramas like this soon! He was also good in my son in law's woman and I think that drama is a lot ni er than this one!
Terry May 01 2017 11:29 am No drama will ever be perfect. Though there are flaws in this drama, the overall genuineness and realistic characterization/portrayal is enough to make it worth a watch.
Charlie Mar 20 2017 8:38 pm I've watched over 50 Korean tv dramas, and I will not argue that the majority of those shows are definitely better quality than this drama. Yet even with all of its faults and shortcomings, this might be my favorite. Maybe it's my Korean heritage, but there are without doubt something genuinely valuable and good about this show. It's something worthwhile to remember and talk about in the future, even if it's just to disparage it. The bad things about this show are as bad as it can be, but the good things about it aren't any less valuable or reduced because of the the show's faults. This is my last say on this show, and my final expression of appreciation for it.
To Kvothe, you must be as infatuated with that actor as was the writer.
Kvothe Mar 13 2017 5:53 am I disagree with charlie below. Seo Ha Jun plays the character very well, it's not his fault that the writing is dire. Infact it's praise worthy that he has elevated a character as bad as Taeyang and made it somewhat charming.
charlie Mar 07 2017 9:44 pm just watched the episode where the (supposed dead) son asks his mother why she abandoned her baby, and he full of pain punches a tree bark. in the same episode is the rich son (who loves their former maid) just screaming at his mother and the maid because his heart's breaking. the first scene was as bad as can be, but the second was very good, almost great. the good things about the show are becoming less and less, and the bad, more and more... I'm hoping I can make it to the last episode
charlie Feb 06 2017 9:49 pm The single mom/housemaid and rich son's love story makes this show worthwhile. The two actors who play them are good and have so much personality that it's a pleasure watching their scenes. Total opposite of the main love story between hunky doctor and rich daughter. If someone were to juice the hunky doctor, we'd be lucky to get a tablespoon of personality juice from him.
Lee Jan 05 2017 10:24 pm Just watched the episode where the single working mother takes her 6 year old daughter to the hospital. The episode ends with the son from the working family meeting up with the producer woman from the rich family. The son's been emoting the whole episode, and his family hasn't been able to contact him because his phone is shut off. Of course when he turns on his phone to call the producer woman, the 10 or so phone calls that his family made to him doesn't appear at all on his phone. The doctor-man is completely oblivious to his family's emergency because the heart-throb actor who plays the doctor needs to be in a romance. I can't believe the writer of the show would make such a mistake on a story point as obvious as the missing phone calls. This had to be the director/SBS ad-libbing the end of the episode because they wanted the guy playing the Emo-doctor to do some heartthrobbing. The episode was so good with the drunk grandma and the sick child until the last 2 minutes of the show. So frustrating. Korean t.v. seems always to undermine all the genuine-great things it has to offer with very blatant inconsistencies in character or story. A script reader just out of college should catch such an obvious blunder.
lee Dec 30 2016 9:27 pm I've watched about 10 episodes. Actors are generally good, but the directing has been aweful. Young love and young lives struggling against traditional Korean family structure and its ways. The setup is very good, and the writing has been good so far. Keeping my fingers crossed and will update my review.
Korea Drama Lover Oct 15 2015 9:04 am This drama is predictable , stupid ,childish, illogical. Most of the casts did their jobs very well but the scripts just sucks. The worst Korea Drama ever.what a waste of time piece of shit.My heart goes out to those actors who had to portray in this sucky series, bringing degrading consequences to their fame.
Norn Sep 16 2015 12:02 pm Where can I watch this? Please help. Thank you
Kimikim May 16 2015 2:40 pm The main character, Kim Tae-Yang, is sooooo stupid!!! If you want to be frustrated and annoyed throughout the whole series, watch it. I end up watching it all to see how it end, but wow I can't believe I did.
Zam Apr 23 2015 8:41 pm Subplots are repetitive like kidnappings of Tae Yang. Even scenes are similar such as at Choi's vacation home. Everyone tries to play God, telling the villian Dr Choi of their plans to nail him but never having a chance to do so (guess you know why). We are going around in circles, always almost able to charge Dr Choi, then someone like his wife or daughter would willingly deliver themselves to Dr Choi to be used as a hostage to blackmail Tae Yang! Then we are back to square one again! Sigh! No more ideas!
Leong Apr 07 2015 9:01 am Was trying to say that the producer and script writers were trying to stretched their imaginations and ours.
Leong Apr 07 2015 8:59 am Was trying to say that the producer and script writers were stretching their imagination and ours.
Leong Apr 07 2015 8:54 am Korean drama script writers are drying up on ideas. Another story dragging to over 100 episodes. Some ridiculous situations like being Tae Yang being arrested a 2nd time for murder but the victim os not taken to the police station as well. The victim on reaching the police station stands frozen on seeing her husband while earlier she was running away. Producer n writer are their and our imagination
Kong Mar 18 2015 8:01 pm Acting by the older veteran actresses are good but not for the younger cast. But worse are the conversations. They do not follow logically so there are a great deal of misunderstanding between the young pair of lovers. In fact many conversations are so silly and useless, a waste of time!
Adon Mar 17 2015 8:46 pm Silly story with numerous illogical parts. Like to use tactics of not revealing the truths so story can drag on and on, making audience wonder when the truths will be revealed. Similar tactics of storytelling like the other drama Only My Love which is equally stupid. Not worth watching cause storyline is not well written
E.Zhang Mar 12 2015 8:52 pm This story is obviously written by a female. Its a sad story that hinges on how the rich despises the poor. It all began with the old woman Yoon who caused the death of her elder son by not agreeing to him marrying Lee because she is poor. Subsequently the old woman also did not disclose to Lee about her son Tae yang. This caused a chain of more evil doings from Lee and her rich mother-in-law. It makes you wonder when Yoon would ever reveal the truth or the others who knew the truth but chose to keep quiet! Some lighter moments from the other families of Jae-min and Mi-Rae, help to alleviate the sadness of the whole story. Its worth watching but be prepared to accept the evil and wrongdoings of a few women!
Kim Feb 17 2015 11:28 am I saw kang sung jae on yesterday's ep 26. But it is just them watching that drama on tv. What a disappointment!
goldenboy Jan 30 2015 10:08 am Does anybody know from which episode that Song Jae Hee(Kang Sung-Jae) make an appearance? Is it the same Kang Sung Jae that was in You're Only Mine drama?
ranny Jan 26 2015 5:29 am is this drama good ? is it worth to watch 123 episode ?
mel Nov 26 2014 2:45 am Why does your I treat her step mom like that when she finds out that she's not the real mom, at least she raised her, what a trip, There in love but not related, what rude family your I has treating the main character like shit, so mean because there rich, anyways Tae yang should just find someone better, lol
mj Oct 30 2014 6:56 pm Finally a very believable daily drama and all the acting is really super!
