Seo Jung-Won (Kim Ha-Neul) is a famous journalist and the host of a current events TV program. She has broken many exclusive news stories. In her personal life, she is married to Seol Woo-Jae, who comes from a rich family. Her life seems perfect, but everything suddenly changes. The mistress that her husband Seol Woo-Jae was seeing dies. Seo Jung-Won is distraught that her husband was having an affair. Making matters worse, Seo Jung-Won becomes the suspect in the mistress's murder case.
Seo Jung-Won finds an ally in Detective Kim Tae-Heon. They work together to uncover the truth behind the murder case.

BecStar May 21 2026 11:55 pm This KD has an excellent storyline and premises but ruined by a lack lustre script and lazy direction. The love triangle wasn’t required and it seemed like an add on. Errors of scenes made throughout with settings and camera angles all mixed up and the fights scenes were lame. I was expecting tension and got yawns. The lead actress clearly needs acting classes as her timing and line delivery is poor. She created no chemistry with the male leads. Plus the character was meant to be strong ended up just stubborn and stiff making it about “her show” was stupid. Pity the mistress was killed to early as she was excellent and really made the character a stand out. The actors who played the husband and detective were good and clearly tried their best. The score was painful especially on the so called romantic or sad scene, piano was excruciating. I will watch it to the end!! Haha
Zeila Mar 15 2026 8:17 pm Watched this because of Jang Seung-Jo. Disappointed because he played a bad guy again. Lots of loopholes and disconnects in this one. (She pulls up to the house in a white car. Secretary leaves and white car is gone, but his black car is there???) Also hate when dumb people confront a murderer. Seriously? Like they've already murdered, don't you think you could be next? Like one of the posters below, I also felt sad for JSJ's character. He did wrong as a teenager, but his thug father would not let him deal with it the right way. As a result he destroyed his life. He really loved his wife. Did not like the relationship of the leads. She did exactly what she accused her husband of. I should mention that the only character I really liked in the whole thing was Kim Myung Soo the detective's side-kick who did all the work. Played by Yoon Jung Hoon, he brought a smile and some liveliness to the drama.

The female lead starts off strong and determined, but her character quickly becomes inconsistent and easily swayed, hardly someone trying to “uncover” anything. The acting feels awkward, the chemistry with both male leads is lacking & the plot drags. Honestly, the mistress sometimes feels more convincing as the female lead. It’s like the priority is romance, not actually uncovering anything. Skipped a lot of scenes.

I get it the husband made a mistake back then hiding the accident. But, Jungwon’s father didn’t make a difference by recoding the crime-in-action. He should’ve just call the ambulance/police right away. Forget about being a reporter, he should’ve been a decent human being in the first place.
Jungwon acting like she’s a saint, but she forgot that she also walk away from Eunsae when she could have save her in the earlier episode
AHJUMMA J Aug 04 2025 7:33 am I watched this drama because I am a fan of Kim Haneul. But I did not like her chatacter in this drama. Although her husband cheated on her because of his weakness, she became insensitive and almost cruel to her husband who was showing his sincere and deep remorse and regret, and his deep love for her. She was unforgiving and let her anger be taken over by rekindling her first love.
There is too much unnecessary crying on FL's role where in some scenes she should be more courageous and put her mind to work to get out of a critical situation.
The lover detective should back off when he has seen the sincerity, love and care of the husband.
GanIrene Aug 02 2025 7:32 am My initial apprehension was soon overwhelmed by the grippingly, exciting and thrilling plot. I was completely sold. The Positives. The two MLs were superb and impressive. I am a fan of Jeon Woo-Bin. The unpredictability of each episode leaves me eagerly anticipating for the next. The Negatives. The FL is not at her best. She also does not resonate with the character. Perhaps she is the wrong choice to begin with. I find her too old for the role. Is the drama worth watching? Certainly Yes.

angksud510 Sep 12 2024 2:58 am Nothing Uncovered feels quite similar to Hide in its dark, mysterious tone, especially with its intricate investigation and psychological tension. However, the obsessive love-line becomes uncomfortable, dragging down the otherwise gripping plot. Honestly, watching the 10 episodes without that overbearing romance would be much more enjoyable. After Kill Heel, seeing Kim Ha-Neul’s characters just feels exhausting, as they carry the same emotional heaviness that’s hard to sit through.
Miss C. Jul 23 2024 8:08 pm I love watching mystery/thriller/investigative drama. One of the exciting character is Yoo Yoon Young, but it's so early she died. The exciting episodes was until Yoon Young died. I am just disappointed with the last episode. Because when Jung Won together with her daughter visited Woo Jae, she is not smiling at all. How come? Can she just pretend that she is happy for her daughter? And also it's unbearable to watch the relationship between Jung Woon and Tae Hoon even though Tae Hoon is handsome. I pity Woo Jae because he really loves Jung Won.

btw Jang Seung Jo looks like an alien. His eyes and ears.

Her role was poor, yes she was also at fault for her husband behavior, due to her greed for work power! Though it doesn’t make it right for him to cheat. She was also very selfish with her treatment of the Detective. There were so many unrealistic parts. That I skipped 4 episodes. From the beginning it was a given that the actress was stalking Jung Won, and that she was her husband’s mistress. I mean that was way to obvious! I think that if here in the States, an Oscar would be given to the husband, actor Jang Seung Jo! Great acting, depth, emotional and intriguing. I also liked him in “Chocolate” . The Detective Kim is also a Very good actor! This series to me personally 1 to 10, 10 being excellent. Was a 6.
AJ Jun 20 2024 7:58 pm Unfortunately, one of KBS' series that will be soon forgotten by many. Rather poorly written, especially the romance -- they try too hard with it, and it is rather poorly executed as well.
Not Kim Ha-Neul's finest hours, shall I put it mildly. I don't think she truly fits in investigative or thriller type dramas -- romance and rom-com are her forte.
Ah well, when it comes to KHN, we will always have "On The Way To The Airport" to reminisce and savour ...

The FL is a terrible actress & the writers created an unemotional woman who could not answer a simple question. Like others, I also hated the romance between her & the 2nd ML. Unnecessary. This isn't the worst show out there, but it definitely isn't worth a rewatch.

Was poignantly and brilliantly executed; Compassion, 3 or more years for reflection (Including time for a Baby Girl to be Born)was given to each. Therefore, IF Seo Jung-Won starts to doubt her feelings towards her husband and develop feelings for her ex-bf Kim Tae-Heon, then it would be her husband's fault.

Can't stand the FL character Apr 26 2024 10:44 am I love JSJ he's the reason why I started watching this drama. I feel so sad for him. Yes he's the one that cheated but it's almost as if the love in his relationship is one sided. The FL is just soooo selfish and full of herself. I don't hate the actress just that her character is very annoying and frustrating. I get frustrated every time watching her being so mean to her husband and developing feelings for her ex bf. As a fan of JSJ who cant stand watching him in pain, the romance between the detective and the FL is just unbearable ?

5 stars Apr 19 2024 4:07 am Watch all episodes that’s out so far, gotta give a 5 star.. I was hoping the writing would get better or is it cause of the FL. She is a tenured actress, but for this drama she lost her touch. Not sure what it is, maybe this drama doesn’t fit her personality cause the ML Both ML, carried this drama.. either way the writing is just predictable and made no sense most of the time. What a 5 star, still hoping for the best, but not sure till which episode I can go up to.
Such a let down Apr 17 2024 6:06 pm Both the ML gave their best. In specific,Jung seung Jo nailed every expression in every frame as depressed, kind, cynical, angered, sad , dubious and what not. Kim ha Neil lost her touch , you would understand if you watch it. The writing at times made no sense or was forced just not well thought , though it had potential to go big.

only started this for JSJ, his character is so pitiful and heart wrenching yet hes done his wife dirty.. but then he realises hes in the wrong so he tries to fix it and help his wife yet she doesnt give two shits (understandable as she has literally been cheated on) but i just dont get how someone can move on so fast and go back to their old "love"? maybe its the bad writing or something but i think there should have been more scenes of the FL expressing her feelings to her husband + ex bf. bc rn (up till ep 12 has been aired) it feels like the FL just decides to throw out her husband and go full forth to her ex bf, emotions wise.. and idk why she does it bc wouldnt their relationship be controversial if its a detective w/ a reporter? lmao anyways i hope we get closure to some of these characters (i need woojae to be happy for once?)
