3 Gongdan is a village where missing deceased people, including Kang Eun-Sil (Lee Jung-Eun) and Oh Il-Yong (Kim Dong-Hwi), stay. Meanwhile, Kim Wook (Ko Soo), Jang Pan-Seok (Heo Jun-Ho), Lee Jong-A (Ahn So-Hee), and Detective Shin Joon-Ho (Ha-Joon) try to find the bodies of missing people and chase after the truth behind their deaths.

You know when Pan Seok and Kim Wook lost sight of duon village in the first season, and watched the exhumation of some korean comrades on the news, they thought Thomas was found. However, in the second season, Oh Il Yong was able to visit duon village and he met Thomas. In episode 11 or 12 (haha i'm not so sure) of the second season, Pan Seok said he was sad and felt sorry that Thomas was still in Duon village.

Ji Oct 06 2023 5:03 am Just finished season 2! Are they going to make season 3 with Im Siwan? ❤️ This drama doesn't disappoint. I really like Detective Shin. He's smart and reliable. If all detectives are like him, we wouldn't have overdue cases. He works on cases from different departments. Haha. I actually prefer season 1, probably because crimes involving children is a bit hard to watch and I also like Thomas way too much. I appreciate him making an appearance in season 2. I wonder if he's really gone, considering what happened to Captain Kang. But if they're moving to another village next season, I guess we wouldn't know.

I loved their closeness, respect, trust and love they had for one another. Whatever they set their minds on, they accomplished it together. All the other people they met, good and bad... what great actors. Each episode was better than the last. I couldn't believe the last episode had gone by so quickly. I didn't want it to end. Please let there be a Season 3.

syd Feb 01 2023 1:36 am i love this drama. loved season 1 too but I think season 2 was more heartfelt and sad for me because it involved so many children. cried so much but also laughed, I love the balance between sad and funny. thinking about how there are so many missing children (and people in general) just makes this drama so sad to watch but the script, the story line, the visuals...everything is so beautifully done. (did anyone notice that they would be slightly see-through in some scenes in the village?) the actors are great and the kids were adorable I am excitedly looking forward to s3 (hopefully panseok ahjussi can see his daughter pls...)! i recommend 10/10
Ran Feb 01 2023 1:12 am Still the drama have cliffhanger ending.... with so many questions... unsolved stories....mysteries from season 1 till season 2. There was Thomas in Duon village, and now Captain Kang in Industrial complex 3. Thomas's body was impossible to be found cause the duo cant see Duon village anymore. Captain Kang's spirit cant leave even they had been found her body. From the preview upcoming season 3, apparently there will be new village, with Im Siwan as the first inhabitants of the village (perhaps), and maybe he will be the one who cant move anywhere like Thomas and Captain Kang, lol. Hopefuly in season 3 there's no more cliffhanger ending, just end. Anyway this drama is worth to watch, I like it a lot.

I think i love murder mysteries, but Missing: The Other Side puts a really creative twist on that genre as the main cast speaks to the ghosts of the murdered to solve their cases! Also, if Thomas’ body wasn’t found and that he is still in Duon village, I hope he made more friends like the main cast :’( He’s been there for so long and although he is a vital part of the village because his cafe has the portal and is a nice gathering place for the village people to eat and have drinks, he also deserves peace. But maybe that’s why Thomas and Captain Kang are like the heads of both ghost towns? Their homes/buildings provide food to the ghosts. Hmm… or maybe it’s because they have the portals? Or maybe, they both died in a way that their bodies will never be recovered? Thomas died in a river, Kang died at sea. Maybe their bodies washed away somewhere very far and deep.. or maybe their bodies got eaten by animals O_O

IDK why I feel He is counted as new person in that village and the fact he also meet Thomas, which I believe not a long time ago from his death (like He meet Thomas after Kim Wook and Pansook could not see the Duon Village, which at least its 2-3 years ago). He still young. But, IDK lets see hehe.
Still curious how Illyoung could in and out the village or people's world. hmmmm. Is He really die? hmm

But, what I remember they do find the skeletons for the Korean warriors who fought Japanese , but not Thomas and the 2 main lead promise to find Thomas' skeletons, so that is why Thomas still in Duon village that is what I get from last episode. But, I could be wrong too haha

Only I was very confused in episode 1 and episode 2 illyong interviewed Thomas a year ago. In this second season, it's been two years since they've seen ghosts or spirits and the duon village. I remember in the final episode of season one there was a scene where the main characters here saw a television show about 7 skeletons that had been found for hundreds of years, they were Korean warriors who fought against the Japanese occupation. And then it looked like Thomas left the duon village. It is not explained when the skeleton was found. Only after that did Jongah invite Pak Jang and kim wok to work together. So that was two years ago right?

How sad, she died then so I guess that is why she is not in the 2nd season. Missing the other side season 1 was really good & totally captivating. It felt sooo real!!.. He's a really very talented actor!.. He needs more roles! He nailed it!!.. And I fell for his acting! Ko Soo was also good playing his role as usual! And the Ajasshi Heo jun ho this is the second time I see him in a drama.. I saw him in Kingdom, so at this drama he had a major role and I could see how a good actor he is!..

Soooo happy to see there's going to be a season 2. This show was so beautiful and I loved it. So many lovable characters and really impactful. I cannot wait for the 2nd season!!!
