Philip (Park Si-Hoo) and Eul-Soon (Song Ji-Hyo) were born at the same time and they seem to share fate. If one person is happy, the other person is unhappy. Philip has all the good luck in their fate and he is a top star. On the other, hand, Eul-Soon has all the bad luck and she works as a drama series screenwriter. They begin to work together for a drama series and mysterious things take place around them.

Avi Jun 28 2021 10:09 am I dont really want to watch this as I saw tons of bad reviews but I'm a big fan of SJH so I thought it would be worth the watch since she's still the main lead here. For the first few episodes, it's not really clicking as the actors were really stiff, but I got really curious with the story so I ended up watching everything. The storyline is good enough to catch your attention and it also went smoothly. The twists and build ups are also good. I can tell that there's a bit of struggle with the main lead's chemistry but both SJH and PSH pulled it off nicely.
Some scenes are really cheesy but I actually find it cute ??? I don't know if it's a me problem but I'm a big sucker for these types of parts ? Also, Gikwang and Jihyo looks cute together and their chemistry works well. Honestly it would be better if Gikwang was given the main role. Still a good work for Sihoo tho. I just love the part where Jihyo did an aegyo and Gikwang smiled cutely. It would be fun to see them both in a drama again. Gikwang looks incredibly cute in this drama!

Saying her appearance doesn't look good at all in the drama is just dumb bc it show how they didn't understand her character. At the start she was stress hence her appearance. After that she Change a bit but still look sloppy and that bc she was insecure of herself, she socially awkward, and there was so many thing going on around her. Everyone will look like shit if they live like her too. By the end of the drama she gains her confident, things was going great with her and she started believing in others. Most of her problem was settled. Those who leave bad review just can't handle slow burn and the drama is not even slow pace. The storyline goes smoothly for me, and the build up is great. There is so many twist that the watcher can start doubting their own self.
There is so many push and pull between the couple bc of their fate, how when one is happy, the other are made to be doomed.
I like this story and kikwang is cute af

His acting is kinda stiff, which makes the drama lacks of emotions. Not sure if it's because of the Yoo Philip's characters itself, but the character is definitely not for him

Aya Aug 15 2020 11:40 am I thought the storyline was interesting, so I watched it reagardless of the bad comments. It was an ok drama. It wasn't great, but it also wasn't awful. I think the thing that was lacking the most, and the thing that bothered me the most, was the chemistry between the main leads. To be honest I didn't feel any chemistry between any of the characters. It all seemed too superficial. The stakes seemed high, but I never felt any of it from the interactions between all the characters. And I'm not only talking about Eul Soon and Philip, but all tje characters. It was definitely miscast. It could've been much better

Knock knock Jul 22 2020 8:11 pm This Drama Is So Frustrating To Watch!!!!!!!!!!! I initially watched this because of Song Jihyo, but boy o boy, I made the wrong decision. I never knew I’ll get frustrated on how SJH acts, but in this drama, it did. She had the same facial expression in almost all of her scenes. Also, it seemed like Park Si Hoo was trying too hard to be funny, it was embarrassing to watch. There was no chemistry between the two main leads and the stroryline is so dragging. If you still want to watch this drama, watch at your own risk. Good luck!

At first ut was really good and funny but when I got from the half it felt boring on how the story line works... Theres something that was really lacking.. Especially I didn't feel any chemistry between Jihyo & Sihoo.. But all over the other casts really portrayed the characters good.

I think that's exactly what makes many Korean drama series so captivating, because the unpredictable unfolding of events creates space for philosophical depth instead of fixating on a specific sequence of events. Brilliant idea to have Song Ji-hyo play without makeup!

I almost not watch this because i saw negative comments about this but because Park Si Hoo is one of my fave actors i gave it a shot.. And definitely didn't disappoint me.. I love it... Never a dull moment!!! Oh it give me chills in scary scenes.. And i laughed a lot and at the same time fell in love with the two main leads... Oh i think it might have season 2 for sung joong story?! Where he could find his happiness.. Oh i wish ot would have.. A guy with the purest intention deserves such happiness indeed... Hoping that another drama wi be made for him.. Overall.. Highly recommended drama...

Psh introduced as a selfish jerk which then turn into a better person. For me it's too late because Gikwang already stole the audience heart. Jihyo appearance in this drama is really messy. I understand for the first 3 episode she was so messy due to her bad luck. But, her improved appearance doesnt change much. She looks tired and pale most of the time.
I love Jihyo in RM but need to admit that her acting skill is average. There's 1 episode where she possessed by ghost. Her face expression during possessed and not possessed is the same. There are some cringe scene in this drama especially when Jihyo need to act cute (It's not surprising if BTS showing that she's uncomfortable doing it because I feel cringe watching it onscreen). This is my 2nd biggest disappointment after Ex-Girlfriend Club
L Oct 16 2018 10:51 am Well..refreshing yes...story was ok...but i think 32 eps are too much...how it twisted in the end make the first idea of the story become nothing and emty...it could get better...and the kissing scen did not seem natural at all i don't see their chemistry...i finished the whole eps just to see how it end but i got nothing...sorry...

If the Korean audiences didn’t rate the drama I know a lot of international fans did. Well done cast and crew on a great job! So impressed with my bias Choi Yeo Jin one day she’ll score a lead drama role....one day.

Donna Sep 29 2018 11:34 pm This drama is so good!!!! I wonder why it's been getting low ratings. :( IMO, the cast has great chemistry. I'm even having a hard time choosing between Philip and Sung Joong for Eul Soon. SJH has great chemistry with both PSH and LGK. :) I like how it takes me from one emotion to another, it really is romance and horror mixed together. The actors were also very good, very convincing in their roles! SJH's acting has been amazing the whole time.

Kind of sad the drama is ending soon. Gonna miss Philip Yu ! Love all his antics and different expressions and emotions in the drama and a great kisser too ! Great job Park Si Hoo !
Bob Sep 29 2018 12:15 am I missed a few episodes and now watching 27-28...am lost. I somehow feel Rayeon is not dead? Or maybe I missed too much and am really lost in this tricky plot. Why is Kim Ok Hee mom to Philip and Eul Soon? I should watch back for a better understanding. This is unlike most drama series where you can skip episodes.
Soojung Kim Sep 27 2018 6:53 pm I agree with Tipsii. The drama is good until 14/15. After that it takes a nose dive. Because I don't find the romance between the mains believable and there was no build to it. The drama is really cliche as with most drama. The cold rich jerk falls for the poor girl who goes above and beyond for him.
The drama also uses "fate" as a crutch to just be terrible to characters but I have to believe these ghosts (his mother) are trying to fix what is wrong and then there are other characters just running around being evil. I think the writers did that to conveniently throw and keep the mains together.
I would love a supernatural drama that made a little more sense. Also would love a drama where the second lead got the girl. The beginning is nice but now 25 episodes in, I will not be continuing because we all know how it is going to end.

Pieces of the jigsaw puzzle are starting to come together and the truth on what happened 8 years ago is starting to come undone ... Ep 23-24 , 25-26 are a must watch. Even though the ghost RaYun freaks me out but can't wait to watch the next episode. LoL ! Park SiHoo and Song JiHyo are brilliant as the main leads. ParkSiHoo 's character Philip Yu is so funny.

Individually everyone has one a good job, the comedy is subtle in the beginning but good. What I miss is the chemistry between the lead actors - Philip and EulSoon. Even their kissing is spark free..
Tipsii Security Sep 20 2018 6:41 pm It had a really good start up until 14-15 episode the story and balance was alright but then again writers decided to bring the leads close and that's where they failed to build a bridge... and started to lose ratings... no wonder SJH is a top actress but her chemistry and build up with second lead was way better than with PSH ... you also have to give credit to LGK he overshadowed his counterpart with his brilliant acting and younger looks.. but main culprit behind this dip in ratings is still writer/Director who failed to present the main protagonist in a better way and their build up between the leads was flawed ... I wonder who was the writer who did such horrendous job.

Eul soon had the powers of Phillip's mother when she was possessed, that was why she could see what was going to happen. I actually liked how they answered the question of how she knows that way we will know the other ghost doesn't have the power to do that. I also like how the writer is paying attention to little details and the strings are connecting nicely. It just remains the mystery from 8 years ago to be answered, my bet is that yoon ah was the one with the taser. It would also explain why she was there too and not just the excuse of being there to save Phillip.

In this drama Park Shi Hoo showed that male lead is afraid of many things and runs away as soon as he faces a danger. I like the drama a lot.

Wayer Sep 01 2018 3:18 am I watched this just to kill time but then suddenly ended up staying up all night to catch up the episodes haha.. i love PSH and Kikwang but have a bit -ve bias to SJH since she's been doing to much RM. But this writer character suits her wacky style and of course PSH always excel shining in any drama that needs it :p I can't wait to know why Eul Soon calls Phillip's mom "omuni" too.. and what did Phillip do when he said he did so much to stay alive.. since he did not look too good when his mother left him. I thot he should always be lucky when he had that bracelet all the time.. hmm.. got me so intrigued.

But since people said that She has a good Chemistry with Si Hoo, i decided to watch this without zero expectation.. But gurl, i was wrong, This drama is uite good and i enjoy Si Hoo and Ji Hyo chemistry a lot in this drama.
i just wish this drama doesn't have the same ending like God's Gift 14 Days. Like, what the freak with "One should die if the other not" thing, ugh.. i'll be pissed if one of the lead die at the end of this drama. Please make a happy ending for both Lead >,<

Oh yes please! And i love how his character is always there trynna protect oh eulsoon and witnessing every unexplanable circumstances with her like, at least he is there to trust her ? im reaaaaallllyyyyy in love with this drama..and eunjung's character..i really cant made up my mind on whether she's a protagonist or an antagonist but im having fun trying to figure this one out..and who tf is the guy trying to kill yu philip everytime ?

keshia Aug 22 2018 7:48 am I wasn't interested in the drama at first, but when I saw Ji Seunghyun, I surrender. I must watch the drama to support him. After portraying a North Korean soldier and a thug (in Wolgyesu Taylor), now he's a murderer? I wish he could portray a good man in the future and perhaps becoming a main lead. So, she open dumpling place near Eul Soon's house dan make her like her daughter because her mother passed away. About fire that happened eight years ago to Philip, i think his mother know he is in danger because she used fortune teller so she had the ability to see the future and asked Eul Soon to help him. But I'm still confused what happened to Ra Yun and woman with white dress who always following Philip and why that masked man wanted to kill Philip. But very interesting drama, make me curious and want to watch it over and over again.
chery Aug 22 2018 12:21 am I miss this genre so so much. The last few ones were Master's sun, let's fight ghost! and oh my ghostess. and so far this plot is unique and keeps you on your toes. Please have more of such plots rather than the boring typical rom-coms.
rocio Aug 21 2018 8:11 pm I was a bit worried about this drama at first since I wasn't a big fan of in the beginning but I'm so happy I stuck with it. I'm completely hooked now! The mystery that seems to tie all of the characters together gets interesting every week. Eul Soon (Song Ji hyo's character) is such a refreshing character to see, her positivity brings tears to my eyes sometimes. Hopefully it'll continue to do well and get the ratings it deserves.

And I'm glad I did! Tho I seldom see her after 4 episodes, somehow, the main lead did justice for their portraying their characters. But, definitely waiting for Hahm's cause I read that there's a twist on her character or something?! That I have to see! Watch this ... Lovely Horribly, it's a scary fun to watch! You wont regret it!

But if you're between 10 and 30 years old, you might definitely like it. Some people below me have drawn parallels with American movies, and indeed, the mix of humour and horror in this drama looks typically American, despite the obvious Korean setting. Anyway, I will let you decide if all this is good for you.

she has a unique way of speaking and it WORKS for this character. she's morbid and funny (especially when it doesn't suit the situation lmao).
listen it gets so funnier in episode 2. this drama is so refreshing because they're throwing the drama rulebook out the window. i was grinning like a mad woman because HELLO THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE SPOOKY GHOST!!
ji hyo's really great with the male lead. i especially loved the last scene in ep 2. the dynamic is fun and i can see why these two were cast.
ALSO! SECOND LEAD SYNDROME IS REAL AND I'M FEELING IT. who gave him the right to be so cute omg
the mystery is pulling me in! ji hyo's character has like 4 parts of the drama planned out already and the fact that stuff keeps happening that resembles what she's written.....mwahahaha I expect that each episode is going to be entertaining!
the entire cast is fun to watch. can't wait to see what else is in store for us!
