Keity Jul 18 2024 6:40 pm Lee Mi Sook is undeniably an excellent actress in South Korea. Shes is absolutely stunning and does not age at all. I become a fan after watching her in Queen of Tears because of her amazing performance. And I can't help it but to watch all her previous dramas and films. She deserves all the acting awards she received and I wish that she continue to appear in dramas and films in the future. She can portray various roles whether protagonist or antagonist, she always nailed it. Her acting performance in 'You are the best, Lee SoonShin' is superB with IU. I hope they can work together again in a drama. Lee Mi Sook is charming and pretty in all camera angles. She has this aura that grabs the attention of the viewers. Even now that she is in her 60s, her timeless beauty says it all. Saranghae!

Elvera Sep 30 2023 5:25 am As I said before, I really enjoy the performances given by this actress but the character in this piece is an extremely annoying one. She is not reasonable, not open to an equal conversation it's all about her what she thinks and nothing else matters. She has the right to form opinions after she has gained knowledge of the situation. In this series she's more than opinionated she's part of the problem. Without knowledge you can't have reasoning and without reasoning there is no knowledge.

Elvera Jun 27 2023 12:03 am Please let me say once again this actress playing Duo parts in this wonderful series is amazing playing the old lady and the wife of a rich man who has been falsely imprisoned by some heinous being. The makeup is fabulous one thing I do have to say and I said it so many times the Koreans really know how to do it all and the special makeup is phenomenal she really does look like an older lady with the age spots and all of it. I saw a foreign movie very similar to this years ago but nothing half as well. Kudos again Korea

Not easy to act in baddy roles, but she carried it off excellently. Baddy role is not equate as bad person in actual life. The badder you act, shows you are good actress.

I was so shocked to see her playing the role of a "beaten down grandmother and mother in Rosy Lovers. I really hate that type of role for someone as beautiful and talented as she has been in many dramas. I am currently watching her in A Thousand Day's Promise as well and she is rocking that drama with her beauty and flair for drama and emotions. Love you and try to tell that agent of yours that your beauty is timeless and not to be wasted in third class roles.

I've recently been watching her in Shining Romance on MBC America and I loved, loved, loved her as Soon-Ok. Unfortunately, I think MBC has cancelled the show, maybe for poor ratings (don't know, but it sucks) but I wished they would have finished airing the drama and not just cut those viewers who were faithful watchers of the program off. MBC that is really wrong, you don't take a person out to the deep end of the pool and then back away with no warning and leave the person there to tread water....sorry, sorry, sorry...okay so where was I....yes, Ms. Lee Mi-Sook is a beautiful actress. I loved her in Love Rain, and in Miss Korea, and it's because of these dramas I want to see all of the other dramas she has been in.

Truth Teller Sep 04 2013 4:25 pm You know, it's kind of funny that I keep tuning into dramas to see undeniably sweet and pretty young actresses like Yoona, IU, Moon Geun-young, Park Min-yeong, etc. only to have to my head get completely turned in the direction of Lee Mi-sook! Not only is she an incredible talent, with a solid (and richly deserved) reputation for excellence in acting, but she's still an absolute knockout from head to toe! Though others may disagree, (and each is entitled to his, or her own opinion) for me, the class of actresses that includes Lee Mi-sook, Do Ji-won, Kim Hye-soo, Ko Hyun-young, Jeon In-hwa Kyeon Mi-ri and many others of those currently in their 40's and 50's is unparalleled. As many of their earlier works are impossible or hard to find, I can only speculate as to what these ladies might have looked like when they were young actresses, but it's hardly necessary as they all look so stunning in the present day. Whatever it is that you you do to maintain your appearance ladies, bottle it, sell it, and, by all means keep doing it!!!
