I enjoyed it so much & I was very much impressed by performance of all the actors who played their parts perfectly it looked all natural ! The best part was English dubbing, specifically of Choi Yu-Jin, Anna & joha. Voice of all of them were amazing. Wishing you good luck & looking forward for some more episodes of you.

Until i watched Samdal-ri ,found how charming he is,and continue to watch Lovestruck in The City, and now i already watched almost all his series and movies that I could find in any platform ? He is outstanding ?

I've never seen such a famous, authentic actor who does so much for the fans and yet always remains so relaxed, even when the going gets tough. He seems sincere, good-looking and has a lot of humor. I also really like that he stays true to himself and doesn't change because of criticism. Wish him only the best, that he will be loved even more in his homeland. To many new projects

I love his expressions in inch of this movie specially his row face and his acting skills just magnificent. It’s out of 10/10.?? I never watched kdrama before but somehow I watched his “suspicious partner” series and after this I just started fell for him. There is no one like him.. I love his smile ?? Selina Feb 03 2024 8:04 am He’s a great actor who can do comedy, action and romance. He’s solid which is unusual for a Korean leading male. He also acts well with good senior actors and learns from their experience. Best female partner Nam Ji Hyun without a doubt, the romance felt real and she has a bit of a goofy comedy side to her which suits him, and she’s beautiful. 

Sometimes JCW chooses shocking dramas, has to watch that. He’s a bit self - conscious which is cute.

IMO, not since Cary Grant has someone possessed such charm -- combining comedy, athleticism, and masculine allure. While Cary Grant is the epitome of smooth sophistication, Ji Chang-wook takes the cake in acting. My all time favorites include Cary Grant in North by Northwest (running in the cornfield scene) and Ji Chang-wook in Healer (combining action, goofiness, and tortured soul, all by one actor).

Wookie Jan 11 2024 10:38 am He is my favorite Korean actor. I have watched all his movies and dramas and even variety shows. I watched all over and over again, even if many dramas from other actors were already released. It is very rare that I watch others'.

I commend him for his acting/great performances and good attitude. I am just sad and disappointed that his country never acknowledged him in any roles from any of their government institutions. The fact that he brings in a lot of endorsements from other countries, he is contributing a lot in terms of income taxes and helps his country's to become more famous.Even their film industry , they don't recognize Wookies' ability. Awards are very distant.

Thankfully, no matter how many actors were given those awards, he is still standing firmly. He is actually the busiest nowadays. He is even turning down projects due to schedule conflicts. Recently, it was confirmed that Pine and Le Mante were already refused by JCW because of his busy schedule in line with his upcoming projects, Revolver, Queen Woo, Sculpture City and Welcome to Samdal-ri is about to end next week, Jan 20&21.

Now, all I wish is for him to have someone on his side to take care of him, laugh with him, walk with him, someone who can praise him when he has done something good and lift him up whenever he is tired and down, hug him, prepare food for him, someone who can surprise him once in a while. He Deserves To Be Happy And Be Rewarded.

I always pray for his health to be at its best and wishing he stops smoking already before his throat and lungs get damaged. Watching him in Youth Actors' seeing him having a hard time breathing while walking towards Ahyi's house and going up in the Alley's set of stairs, I got scared. Much more when he stated that he fainted while shooting the long hallway action scene (The Worst of Evil) in one of his tv guestings. It is very scary because it may lead to emphysema or COPD.

Then I watched Netflix to numb the noise and found Ji Chang Wook in Suspicious Partner. His acting skills spoke to me and got me through my darkness. Golden Wook Jun 02 2023 10:05 am I have watched all of Ji Chang Wook’s dramas but nothing comes closer to healer in terms of performance. I love him so much but he seems to have fallen somewhere and the scripts aren’t getting better. The K2 was such a disappointment and so was Lovestruck in the city. The sound of magic and if you wish upon me were at least much better than all of his dramas after healer. Healer gave him all the name and fame because it was such a huge sensation when it aired. I really hope to see him in such great dramas again soon. Sending all the best wishes.

I only wished I could get all his films & Dramas on Netflix as I am in the U.K. it is hard to get them here. If I watch your drama, it will be because of the female lead. People seem to forget, behind every successful man, there is a woman.

Male actors should feel lucky that majority of k-drama watchers are females, they don't have to try anything to be famous, sometimes most of them are not even handsome and girls love them. In this case, JCW is indeed handsome.

You have the most wonderful "easy going" acting that you don't have to overreact or raise your voice to make your acting good.

Wish it were on Netflix so that I could see it. Just finished "The Sound of Magic"and was so happy to see such a positive message Believe in Yourself. The impression of his face is always strong and believable, it never looks "played", alway realistic. I watched many of your dramas so far. Loved K2 at most, short followed by Healer. Suspicious partner or The Empress Ki are great as well. In fact, Ji Chang-wook delivers always a perfect performance. The only show I didn't like so far was Lovestrunk in the city. That one is reeeeally boring. What was he thinking while signing up for it? Don't choose ordinary shows! You (and we) deserve better :-) .

They are perfect escapism not dark, not too much violence, although K2 was so I just turned the sound off for those scenes. The news is so depressing . We can’t socialise with friends or family. Walking is muddy and monotonous. We are not your usual viewers as my friends and I are in our late 60s and 70s. With best wishes to you and all the other actors.

He is cool and freaking handsome, but im amazed again with his clumsy and comedy acting in Backstreet Rookie, and turn into romantistic in Lovestruck. He is a complete package and rare. Ta Hwan's many characteristics.  I never felt more caring about a drama character until seeing Ji Chang-Wook in Empress Ki.  And I still to this day get tears in my eyes just thinking about his ardent love for Seung Nyang and the ending.

However, I think that, without Ji Chang-Wook's contribution as an Emperor Ta Hwan, it would've been the same. In addition to his beautiful face, his love for Yang, his vulnerability, his emotions, his weakness.... are palpable and contagious. I sincerely understand Seung Nyang, how to choose between The King Wang Yu and the Emperor Ta Hwan? How to choose between this two everlasting, all-consuming loves? I, however, had to praise him once again for his superb acting in “Backstreet Rookie ” I love how he portrays Choi Daehyun 's character with the fine details and subtle charms of emotions. Daehyun is your regular uncool guy who struggles to live life. He is selfless, has a great personality, big heart, but somewhat slow, dumb and passive in nature. And thanks to JCW for choosing a role that is diagonally opposite of that in "Healer" and "K2", he never failed to amaze me by deliver different emotions effortlessly in BR. There are so many emotional scenes of him in BR that I love so much. For example the final episode where he had a discussion with his parents, he spoke with teary-eyed that moved me to tears, in ep.6 when he was staring at the Han river with silent tears after humiliation by YJ 's mom, in ep. 10 the scene at the beach..he was drunk, funny and heartbroken at the same time and he expressed effortlessly.... just wow!!! And he even nailed the funny & hilarious side. Ji Chang Wook is phenomenal and the most versatile actor of his generation. Now "Choi Daehyun " has become my top 3 favourite character role by JCW.

I finished watching the whole series in a couple of days and Healer in just 3 days.. Luckily it's quarantine time and I can watch more Ji Chan Dramas or Movies,,, though I had watched Korean Movies before the actors did not made an impression on me like Ji Chan Wook,, Oh Man you are killing it... I have the biggest crush on JCW in Healer and I watched most all of his dramas..but I still gravitate towards Healer. Tried liking Suspicious Partners because many people were raving about it but I cant seem to get myself to have preference towards Nam Ji Hyun. There's just something off about the pairing albeit the great chemistry.

He just carries that badass image so well that I won't hesitate to believe that he's a former bodyguard or a spy. But it's undeniable that his romantic scenes are the ones that make us die so many times. haha. I'm a sucker for that intent gaze and those kisses in Suspicious Partners (I didn't like Suspicious Partners that much but still finished it because of Ji Chang Wook) But in Healer, omg *faint* that storyline and that chemistryyyyyyy damnnnnn!

I've been wanting him to be paired up with equally exceptional actresses such as Kim Ji Won, Han Hyo Joo and Oh Yeon Seo. Their acting skills are just top notch and I think they'll be really suitable to be paired in the next project.

I missed most of the subs because I was too busy gazing at my screen :D or crying at how perfect the story and romances were portrayed. Such awesome chemistry with the wonderful leading ladies. I'm ruined for anything else.

He was not a strong man but he truly loved her and needed her more than the king. I love the ending when she voiced her love for him.

He is truly a good looking man with a very appealing face and a bomb for a body. I also like his demeanor. I wonder if he is truly like that in his real life. I wish he reads this. Well, crying with true emotions and how his pains were expressed by his eyes. But then, I didn't know his name so the time passed by and then I came across to see a clip of "Suspicious Partner". Then, I fell in love again...it created an excitement in me...watching the romantic scenes and the feeling of how a kiss should be, Hahahaha. So, I searched for the names, and this how I came to know his name. At this time, I am watching K2 and looking forward to watch more of his craft. Just so love his eyes. Cris May 21 2017 7:26 pm I'm fairly new in the K-drama world but in the 2 years of binge watching all of those good dramas, 2 actors really stood out- Ji Chang Wook & Kim Soo Hyun. These two are the best of the best actors among their age group in my opinion. What made Ji Chang Wook more special is that of his outside and inside attributes rarely seen among actors nowadays. After watching a few of his dramas, I got curious and started watching some of his interviews and got to read articles about him...and boy, was I sold! Aside from being insanely gorgeous and multitalented (yes, he also does musical theatre), he seems to be well grounded and very humble. His cute and innocent persona makes him more endearing. But most of all, I was touched when I learned that he was raised by a single parent and that his father passed away from cancer when Chang Wook was just 11 years old. For me, that is a pivotal moment in a young boy's life that could either make or break him as a man in the future. I could tell that his mother raised a good son who in turn adores her so much. He just nailed his role as an action star there and that sweetest moment they have at episode 15 i think is simply awesome. I watched that scene many times.hahaha. I am looking forward to watched other dramas he starred in. So far, its only healer and K2 that i got. I also hope to see him doing hollywood movies in the future (action preferably) just like Rain. They were my most favored k-actor alon with JoongKi so far. They have that innate talent within which made them really charming. Plus he really care about his family..he said when he initially start as an actor he still so poor, in the past his mom working so hard to pay family debt. I dont know is his father pass away? He is so brave and honest to told that sad story on the interview..so the most precious thing he can do after got better salary from acting job was to pay his family debt and made her mom happy. Now i understand why this handsome man is very humble and hardworking.

I recommend people to watch this drama, im sure u will like it

I was blown away by his acting and it moved me to such emotional edge!! OMG. I can't believe I cried that much and cared so much for a character in any drama until this. On October 20 it will be release here in PH, but I'm done watching it. hahaha Amazing actor! :) you impressed me a lot.

Renee Sep 14 2012 11:30 pm First saw Ji Chang Wook on Hero where i first thought he was super cute lol ;) then i watched him on Warrior Baek Dong Soo - and even though on that drama my heart went more out to Woon than Dong Soo, he was still a major part of that drama that really drew my attention, not only was he handsome but his ways of dealing with people and problems that arose were astonishing - he truly amazed me - i now watched Bachelor's Vegetable Store because he played the leading role on it - and this drama had me captivated with him - so loyal and amazing <3 the kind of person who does not back down at people's threats and other things that happen - a very strong person - that is the type of man i am looking for - this is the first drama where i have seen someone not back down in fear of another - Taeyang (Ji Chang Wook) is AMAZING!!!
