Lee An (Jin Young) has a special psychometry ability. Whenever he touches someone, he can read that person's memory. Using his psychometry ability, Lee An wants to take out evil people in the world. Unlike his handsome appearance, he is not smart at all.
Yoon Jae-In (Shin Ye-Eun) is a girl with a scar in her mind. She tries to hide that. Lee An and Yoon Jae-In happen to meet and they struggle to solve cases.

So, I was honestly confused on the part that, the Jaein's father was accused and got jailed as the culprit of the Yeongsong Arson, because Jaein's father's jacket was a major evidence. But it was also hinted that the culprit was wearing bloody uniform, and who else was wearing uniform back then? It was Seungmo all along.. So was it intentional? Are we supposed to know that Seungmo was the killer all this time? Or is it a plot hole?
Another thing is that the love story between the main characters are so forced, although it changed and they started to focused on the crime from episode 12 I think, the romance between the main leads are too dragging.. Also, wasn't expecting Jisoo's death at all, there were signs but the execution was unsatisfying..
Overall the plot is good, the suspense is there, although the forced romance scenes and Ahn's attitude from the earlier episodes are enough to stop watching, it went well I must say.. I became fond of Ahn's actor in the end and I'm currently watching "Our Unwritten Seoul" which is a whole different character.. A solid 8/10

Kc Jun 07 2024 3:06 am I was skeptical to start this drama due to the genre, not a fan of thriller, suspense & horror however I saw the Special Edition intro video somewhere & was captivated by the storyline & the handsome Jinyoung! Amazing acting by all especially Jinyoung, his visual is no joke!! And his acting was exceptional! Didn’t know he acts so well!
What I also love about this drama is the ending! Unlike some drama ending leaves you hanging in the air! This drama gives a closure for everyone & of coz the happy ending is added bonus. Definitely recommend it!

Norik BC Oct 27 2022 10:23 am This was the worst writing of a k drama , so far , the actors were excellent , and the director was okay but the story was a mishmash , especially the murder scenes , kept falling sleep during most of the scenes , I would not recommend this drama . Wasted talents for the actors . Too much Hollywood coping scenarios . Be Korean that’s why I watch only Korean, because it has the Korean spirit.

1. I find Lee An to be immature, foolish and immensely ungrateful, especially at the end. I can see why Koreans don't adopt. 2. After episode 8 or 9 he can suddenly use his ability to see exactly what he wants to see which is not believable. I don't know if the writer thought that the pretend studying he was doing was enough, but it was a major flop on the script. 3. I don't understand why Lee An would be angry at Yoon Jae-In because her father is Yoon Tae-ha. (even if the man had been guilty, that is not reason enough to hate someone because your parents died), especially since he had known Yoon Jae-In for a long time. 4. The lack of empathy for Kang Geun-Tae and those like him. I would think that a specialist would have been called for the trail at the end since the case made it to the news so that the judge could make an informed decision instead of saying "I don't see any remorse from the accused"...He obviously had be pay for what he did, but what about the people officers who swept the case under the rug when Sung-Mo and his mom went to the police station to ask for help? Why weren't they punished? 5. I don't understand why Yoon Jae-In would actually say that she wouldn't forgive Sung-Mo's mom. It was the false testimonies of the people living in the complex building and the blood covered jacket that sealed her father's fate so why the attitude? 6. Sung-Mo's sentencing was not believable. Since the crime was committed when he was a minor (a minor who the police failed to protect when they swept his and his mother's confinement under the rug) he should have gotten no more than 5 years at best according to the law. Many of his merits where not mentioned and I guess the writer was also tired of writing the script as well...I can only guess as to why his lack of emotion was touched upon so lightly in the court without there being any specialists in sight. 7. The relationship between An Lee and Yoon Jae-In should have been left as a friendly one. I still don't understand why the writer would pair them up together in the story accept to seal the whole young couple thing, but even that failed...it was not believable. 8. The police exam at the end...lol, I don't know if the writer wanted us to forget that An Lee is a fool or what, but the police exam at the end serves no purpose at all because An Lee is not smart, that's how the character was written. I don't know if it was fools hope or if the writer forget the characters traits that he himself previously highlighted so much...it just didn't make sense.

This drama is literally my cup of tea! I like watching it. I have watched it in 2020, but still being denial for the fact that Kang Seong Mo was the actual arsonist ? I do get some clue, but still— I feel bad for his life tho. He lived a miserable childhood by being locked underground, witnessing his mom threatened by his father, and also dealing with alexithymia. I didn’t meant to justify his behaviour, but I can understand why he’s doing it. Eun Jisoo’s death saddens me more. I like her character very much, she’s such a bright person. It’s just so sad that she gone too soon. Lee Ahn and Yoon Jae In are also good! I can understand why sometimes they’re being immature. They are still teenagers, a high-schooler. I can understand too why they won’t forgive Seong Mo. Ahn lost his parents when he was a kid due to the arson, meanwhile Jae In had to hide her background since his father was sent to jail. It was all because Kang Seong Mo. They lived a hard life too. The one who deserved the blame here is Seong Mo’s father, he’s the cause of all this chaos. I LOVE EVERYTHING IN THIS DRAMA!!! The plot, the cast, the acting. Definitely worth to watch.

Overall still a good series, but hate the ending

Like really?? being mad at seong mo and his mother for not sacrificing themselves to free jae-in’s dad from prison and running away, duuhh anyone would do that. Why the heck would they reveal themselves and possibly get caught by that psycho again for a stranger they didnt even know?
If anything they shouldve been more angry at the cops and ji-sus dad, if his corrupt ass did his job then they all would’ve been safe and seong-mo wouldnt have to go to such lengths. Victims blaming victims instead of the actual people who caused them harm. My faves were seong-mo and daebong. Main characters scenes were boring. Lol

I got confused selecting my fav character bt il go with ji soo and kang sung moo. Their chemistry was damn gud. A very emotional drama. I wanted it to hav a happy ending for everyone bt its impossible so im gonna be ok with this ending. And last bt nt least i liked his friend dae bong a lot damn cute and his love towards his friends.

Honestly I watched this drama because of Park Jin young and Shin Ye eun and also Kim Da som, but in the end I get to love the plot it was amazing after all. In the future I would like to rewatched this drama again.

Lilo So Dec 13 2020 1:45 pm Lemme this story hahaha To be honest ,the plot was interesing however at first I didn't have plan to watch this and it wasn't included in my kdrama list because I was not that fan of Jinyoung (but it chhanged bechause of this kdrama she got me haha) and I was not familiar with the lead girl. I have this friend who is kdrama fan just like me and she shared this kdrama "he is psychometric " to me. I was like "what are the kdrama you downloaded, care to share it with me?" and she was like "i have this blah blah blah" and she mentioned He is psychometric. Then she shared the complete episodes to me lol and it is worthy to watch. I will rate it with 9/10

i really enjoyed this drama. kim kwon and kim da som are both show-stealers, they were both the ones i looked forward to until both their endings. that's why i was so stressed about both their endings. i wouldve liked the show better if they had better ones. eun ji soo really didnt deserve to die. kang sung mo did deserve to go to prison because of what he did, but i think the same thing would have happened even if he wasnt the one who did it. i dont know if this is cruel of me, but i think it's for the better that kang sung mo did it, because he developed emotions because of it and then saved lee an. lee an felt mad and betrayed because the person he held on to and took care of him was actually the one who took many people's lives including his parents'.
eun ji soo and kang sung mo deserved better endings. i think ji soo was actually the ons who kang sung mo liked, because he said he regretted not holding onto ji soo, who was the one who was always there for him despite the countless rejections.

From the very start, i really assumed that Seong Mo did it, but as i watched episodes, the more i get attached with him so i wished that it wasn't him. Now that i watched the last episode, all i feel is sad. Imagine being locked up on your basement by your own father for 9 years and still stalking you and your mother, i wouldn't blame him for doing crime that would lead his father to suffer. But then, karma works. The one that he cherishes died and lee an ofcourse, hated him for what happened. All i can say is, Prosecutor Kang and Detective Eun Ji soo deserves a better ending.
All in all, this kdrama is awesome! I watched this out of curiousity on title and to support Jinyoung but i didn't expect that he is such a great actor. I'm a proud ahgase♡

Venuzzia, this would be a benefit of the doubr if sung mo liked jae in or jisu. It looks like he has strong emotions towards jae in because of guilt while jisu as a friend because he knows he might need to pay for what he has done, hence going to prison.
The story didn't quite made me interested unlike voice & signal but it was fun to watch. Korean dramas are always interesting. The CPR scene towards the end was something i hadn't seen before on tv. I was im awe at how they made it. The actors & actresses are super goodlooking and the antagonists played their role amazingly. Ji young and the lead actress were awesome. Thanks tvn

For some reason, when i saw teenage Seong Mo for the first time, my initial reaction was that ahh, he’s the killer. But because of the amazing storyline, i doubted this theory a lot and even wished that it was not true. So it was a little bit surprising that he really did it. The acting was alao great. It fet natural to me. Kudos to Kim Kwon for nailing the portrayal of an unfeeling “monster” who can still show how much he cared for his loved ones at the same time. That brotherly lobe between Seong Mo and Lee An was very heartwarming! We all know that Lee An is the main protagonist but one can’t help but love the other characters especially Dae Bong and Sohyun, Seong Mo and Ji Su. Although i came to a point where i sometimes feel that the story is really abt Seong Mo rather than abt Lee An. Anyway, i really hoped Detective Eun did not die. Maybe it’s to show that Seong Mo does feel emotions. I don’t know.. The ending was also satisfying. It’s sad that Seong Mo was detained when he just wanted to protect his mom but he still has to pay for his crimes. And also i don’t think he will like it if the authorities fail in their job again. Hah. My comment is mostly abt Seong Mo. Goes to show how much i liked the guy!
I was also sad to read that Jeon Mi Sun has passed away. Hope she rests in peace. She will be remembered.
Dalagang_Pinipilahan Apr 03 2020 9:27 am The drama started slow but as it progresses, it's becoming meaty, like the writers keep immersing in deep brainstorming to achieve a great plot, which in my opinion, succeeded in the end. I felt bad and sorry for all the characters. They all had their own reasons why they did this and that, it's all about sacrifices for their loved ones. I liked how it was not overdone, hence, successfully done. Jin Young proved me wrong, his acting here was on point. Kudos!

Kim kwon did great with his acting i love him. *spoiler* alth some of the comments here despise the ending, but for me it was very good. If you think it through, seong mo deserved to be in prison alth he commited them when hes a minor and suffered from an emotess illness. dont expect him to get away with that. from another point of view, many ppl suffered from the fire he started so it's only fair if he paid for them, taking the victims in mind. overall, i loved the plot, the cast and the ending. The ending sums of everything. This isnt like any other drama where we can expect a happy ending. The moment i watched this drama, i already expected the ending woudlnt be a happy one but i still watched it to know how the story unfolds. it was addicting!!!! thumbs up to tge directer, writer and everyone involved in producing this masterpiece.
RIP Mar 31 2020 3:13 am What made me more sad is even though it was fake, they showed the funeral of Jeon Mi Sun's character and few months after the drama ended, she actually passed away! She was such a great actress. She was my favorite middle aged actress ever since I watched School 2015. You'll be forever remembered Ms.Jeon Mi Seon! RIP!
She should not have died Jan 29 2020 6:43 am This drama is not rom com instead it's a crime mystery thriller etc.. whatever. It has a bit of romantic elements but it doesn't fit rom com genre. And yeah coming to the drama the two young leads are brilliant and very good looking too but watching this drama I become more interested in the second leads. Sung mo and Ji soo stole the show for me. Their little bit of romance was fluttering and I was really happy thinking that they would be together at the end but come episode 13 and it was one of the most heart breaking scene. Why why why you have to kill her. It's really not fair. The last three ep was a hard watch. She should not have died.

The cast, plot, setting and the acting was a whole 10/10 and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the main and the supporting actors/ actresses were phenomenal; especially Kim Kwon who deserves a major award for his role. This is one of those dramas which are thrilling the whole way and you go through all your emotions!!!.
Highly Recommended.

Dee Sep 12 2019 8:09 am Writing a 2nd comment because I can't get over this drama. I want more good dramas like this. The cast don't overdo their acting and it was so nice to see. Everyone played their role so well. Also maybe because it's a fresh take from typical drama where they have unnecessary rubbish romantic relationship issues lol because this drama don't have that. The problems they face are bigger than that. So there's not many bs going around that makes you roll your eyes. I like how calm the female lead is. It's hard for me to find typical female lead that doesn't annoy me even a bit these days. but because she's so calm sometimes I feel like she's an older sister to Ahn more than a lover lol. She's really beautiful too. Not the typical kdrama beauty in a way, but seeing her was refreshing in a strange sense. Her character is like a normal character in real life, she doesn't overdo her acting, and she's likeable. Seong Mo's character was also so good. both the teen and the older one. They both carried their character well. I really wish the ending was better though because I liked him so much. When there were less Seong Mo scenes as the drama proceeds, I keep on wanting to see him more lol. Really good drama. I really hope they would make a season 2. Loved it so much! It's also amazing how they put the pieces together in the end. At first the case was all over the place and you really join them in understanding the case one by one. It was a nice ride. Not perfect, but I liked almost everything about it.
Dee Sep 12 2019 7:58 am This drama was really good to me. I'm very picky about a lot of kdramas, especially the recent ones. Most of them I just forward or don't even bother to finish. But this drama was really good. It's not perfect per se, but I love it. There's funny scenes, the main actor was good. I even went to check out GOT7 because of him. I liked the main actress as well. I thought their chemistry could have been better but somehow I still like them both. The plot was interesting too. I hoped the ending could have been better but the drama was good enough that it doesn't really matter. The ending also seem to hint at season 2. Overall I really enjoyed this drama. I found myself smiling a lot through it too because I'm enjoying it so much. *spoiler* I really wish seong mo & lee ahn would have reconciled in the end sigh. I liked seong mo a lot :(
Also I wish they would have put here the name of the actor who played young seong mo. He was good

Axor4 Aug 17 2019 2:25 am i really liked the side roles and the side couples like seung mo and detective eun and da bong and soo yoon more than main leads bcoz in the end it was like the leads cared less for the others that were sad and dead and were focusing on their life more plus i k that might be the reason lee an lost his parents but it was seung mo who took care of him or he would not be cared for plus seung mo started feeling after saving him :((( it was more like seung mo always had bad life:((( i miss detective too

The plots just focus on how to catch Gun Tak. It's annoyed anymore. For me, the main lead which is Lee An aren't victims from the story. It's just an accidental. Yoon Jae In, Eun Ji Soo, and the womans that murdered by Sung Mo is the victim of Sung Mo. I lv the love story of Ji Soo and Sung Mo. But I hate it :(( It's like why man come to the girl that loved him so much but Sung Mo when first time bringing flowers when the Ji Soo passed away!! Why :(( I lv the love story of Dae Bong and So Hyun couple*_*. In the end of the drama ihate to watch that Lee An leave Seung Mo's mother. Why he did it? Ah I think I just focused on Song Mo and not try to understanding Lee An. But it's unfair for me

I love how the story goes and I love how the other actors portray their characters. At first I was hesitant to watched it but its my type of genre. I really enjoyed it so much the way they solved the problem its very unique and it will make you think what will happen.

what_a_shit_ending May 09 2019 8:08 am the story is so good but the ending disappoints people (spoiler alert)and while some people may think Seong mo shouldn't be in jail I think its a good move and the fact that Jisoo died is shit she should have been in a coma or something and when the case is finally over she should have woke up or something and after Seong mo was released she and he should have got together and overcome their emotional baggage and not as if they should forget it, they should be guilt and stuff but they should have some happy moments and esp Kang Eun Joo she should be given a good ending although the past will always haunt her she should get to be happy with her son and she should be the one to get a HEA the most as she was the one who suffered the most because of one innocent act of kindness (she gave the name Guen Taek to him who had no name) but no she is the one who gets the shittiest ending!!! with no one by her side except her son who is in jail.
Intha May 07 2019 2:33 am This drama makes you think deeper beyond what it shown on screen. Bright for its first 9 episodes, darker until it last episodes, but the transition is smooth and nicely done.
What i like about this drama: - refreshing characters esp for Lee An, Jae-in, and Jisoo - Lee An is very straightforward - he said what's on his mind (which i found it rare for a main lead character), once he sets a goal he will go for it no matter what, very cute and kind, he may look dumb but for me he just couldn't careless and live his life on this moment, but he is a very dependable and responsible guy (esp when they're dating, it shows) - Jae-in is a very smart and reserved character, but she doesnt have that "too much pride personality" which most of the time annoying for a female main lead, she acts with her brain & logical thinking. - Jisoo is similar with Lee An, straightforward and also very smart, without realizing you'll end up loving her character. - main couple is such a perfect visuals & have great chemistry, never got bored looking at them, acting wise is also superb, esp Jinyoung (Lee An). You can really see these two completes each other, i love how they both comforts each other when the other needs it the most (my most fav kdrama couple currently). - endearing bromance & chemistry between the male leads. - the plot is unpredictable with few twists. - many metaphors and foreshadowing since first episode which is consistently done throughout the drama. - great casting esp for the 4 main leads, impressed with their acting and how they portray their character. - fast pace and not dragging. - great OSTs!
Overall, this is a bittersweet story because of the ending and what happened in episode 13, but personally it needs to happen exactly because of the ending. And what good drama if the ending did not have any impact & caused debate among the viewers, right? kekekeke..
Its a 9.5/10 for me.

I'm still sad that Jisoo died, she was so bright, but i think it was to make the story more interesting. I'm sad that Sungmo didn't get the chance to confess to her. I don't think Sungmo deserved it, but at the same time i'm happy that he was put in prison. I was clueless when his mother asked if he was leaving, but now i understand what she meant. After all, Sungmo was the one who helped Ahn and Jaein to find out that he's the real culprit, that broke me even more, the fact that he knew he was going to pay for what did and he wasn't going to hide and deny it anymore. He made sure that Ahn will realise that he's the one who committed that crime, he didn't just want to turn himself in. He was aware that what he did what wring and he knew he wasn't gonna get away with it. In the end, even after all that happened, he was still a good person to me.

I was not expecting that shift to happen, but sis when it did HA I was hooked and ready to stay in my room w my case of redbull to watch the entire series. The entire cast showed amazing acting and it was not hard to get attached to the characters at all if anything it was too easy. SPOILERS AHEAD*

Seung Mo and his mother deserved way better than that sh*t show ending.He spent his whole childhood locked up only to end up right back and even though the leads got their “happy ending”, it wasn’t satisfactory at all.If you are thinking of starting this show my advice to you is DONT it’s definitely not worth it. Needs to be highlighted more. Also i love how Lee An wears oversized sleeves, makes him look hella cute. So many genres are covered in the drama, love the main couple flirting in ep 7 at the office. thain Mar 28 2019 6:21 am This drama awaken my inner detective, lol. So many hints in different places, idk if its purposely done to make us think in certain ways, or it is really given as it is. For example, The Mask, it continuously shown on Ian and SoengMo, but they clearly made it a different feeling. The story itself is quiet interesting for me, of course it sometimes doesnt make sense, but its a drama helloo, just enjoy the show, lol..
Meanwhile the characters are well played by the casts, Ian is a straightforward person, he loves his people and shows it to them, but deep down he has a fragile heart, and Jinyoung can really portrays it well. Meanwhile Jae in is a very introvert person, she has a warm heart but she closes herself from others, you can see that from the expression Yeeun gave, she is a complicated person and she can show it well. SoengMo seems difficult to show his emotion to people, but we can see how he cherishes Ian as his brother (ugh i love their bromance), he also has many secrets and Kim Kwon can really made us in questions if he's bad or good guy. Jisoo is as blunt as an open book (very similar to Ian), and is soo cute, Dasom played her character so well, i love her.
The script also very good! My heart flutters soo many times, my fav part from episode 6 was when Ian told Jaein that he will never touch her without her permission, the scene is really well made, it made me cry.. Ahh i almost forgot, since episode 1 its been a rollercoaster emotion for me, i laughed, and cried, and laughed, and cried again.
Seriously, why i wrote an essay here? lol, thanks for reading, i hope you give this drama a chance, because it seriously a good drama ^^

So far, it is not that bad but I've gotta say that the main casts Jinyoung and Yeeun are still lacking a lot in their actings. I've watched Yeeun in ATeen so I have high expectation for her. There's many fans who said that their chemistry are really great but for me as a k drama mania, Jinyoung and Yeeun's chemistry are quite awkward but they're great during behind the scenes. The plot of the drama is sometimes ridiculous and nonsense but it's still bearable. Overall, it's a good drama but the quality is not that high.
Oh and Kim Kwon's acting is much more better than main leads. He's always deliver his character.
Reality Check Mar 26 2019 12:17 pm Ep 5: AFAIK, hospitals have strict visiting hours during lunch and dinner time to visit patients, and visitors have to be registered as patients' acquaintances = no strangers allowed inside the hospital wards. So, it's not realistic for the bad-guy to just walk around the hospital or go into Lee An's room.
Ep 5 seems a bit draggy or slow-moving. Also, too many flash-backs. The bad-guy could be Kang Sung Mo's father. How come they aren't going after information from the Delivery Truck company about the bad-guy.?

It's a refreshing role and this drama will have you laughing while keeping its thriller and mystery genre. You shoudln't miss out on this drama. Everyy single thing in this drama is excellent. Even the second leads, (kim kwon is so handsome he looks like jongsuk)

Can the psychopath come out faster? Ep 1 & 2 is good but I really can not wait when will they grow up. School scene is quite boring to me. We need some spicy dramatic scene.

He makes me laugh and cry and laugh and cry. Well done Jinyoung for your amazing actors. Also the chemistry between the 4 leads is so nice. I honestly love seeing their scenes together. And the story development is quick which i love. (I dont like dramas which drag ?). Everything from the cast to the acting to the story line and the visuals is just right for me. Please show this drama support. Its really good especially if you like suspense dramas. I honestly cant wait to see how this mystery unfolds. But i have a feeling im gonna be crying a lot. ? Anyways 11/10 for this drama. And its only been 2 episodes. Oh and i love the chemistry between jinyoung and ye eun too. They both just look so good together ??

I watched the first two episodes and the plot looks really interesting... the perfect mix between thriller, comedy and supernatural drama. The characters Jinyoung and Yeeun play are really lovable and they look like they're going to be multidimensional. The four main actors have also great chemistry, which I love too! Can't wait for the next episodes! ^^
Molly Mar 14 2019 10:28 am I was a little skeptical at first about the storyline but l was really impressed on the first episode and Lee an is a funny character and complex You may say he acts all clumsy and stupid sometimes but thus all defense mechanism.Its a boy who lost his parents to a horrible accident when he was young.l will definitely tune in to see as they unravel the truth behind that fateful night and of cause for the romance between Lee an and jae in.

I will watch give it a try though. I'm sure the storyline is completely different, and I like stuff like this.
