shinokawa this show is extremely nostalgic for me, i’ve watched it several times over and even went to Meguro to see where it’s set. that being said the two main characters are actually so annoying and lowkey get worse as the show progresses. Uehara is a cold, rude man who (alongside looking way older than Nao) simply didn’t deserve this girls love. Nao starts off as a likeable main character until she falls head over heels for Uehara. At points she genuinely behaves as if she’s just gotten a concussion or a brain injury that inhibits critical thinking. I like the second leads better, even Natsume (that’s how much I hate Uehara). The side characters are decent This being said, please watch this show you will enjoy it thoroughly and either learn to love it or rip your hair out watching it <3

Daddy The series was getting a bit meh with Uehara being indifferent and Nao super anxious until her parents showed up and added more depth to the teens' attitudes.

Burlee VanCourt Please try to make girls not so silly in series,I love your international series but this one, character Noa just to darn silly, to childish also.If another season is made please change her mood, personality in it.

San Weird but I feel like the music tune from the music box was from Arashi's intro for Hana Yori Dango 2...

Kitsune I stopped watching at episode 10. The character Yuri gets too annoying by every episode. She always drag her brother in law into her marriage problems. When the problem is solved she disappeared. When a new problem arises she appeared again. She overthinks and drinks too much. She need to pull herself together instead of dragging in the poor teenagers into her problems.

Miki I love this series and I love the cast so much! Please make season 3 pleaseeeee I haven’t read the manga, but I will! Uehara-kun and Nao-chan are just adorable I need more ?

Cheronicles I think the title should’ve been “Everyone’s in-love With The Naive and Clumsy Yoshikawa,” or “Friends with no Boundaries.”

Bunni Okay, I feel like I'm in an alternate universe here. I apologize if someone already asked this question but isn't Nanase played by Itsuki Sagara? Are there two versions of this show? I don't remember seeing Michaela Sato in this series and I'm soooo confused

Eury I love this drama! I’m still watching Season 2, i hope they will make Season 3! pls!!!

Nicole You can also see Michaela Sato who plays Nanase in season 2 in "Fall in Love like a Romance Drama", a reality series with young actresses and actors who play out kiss scenes. She's adorable! I saw good morning call first, but I wish her character in it was closer to her real character.

deejay i’m watching this series right ow and i loved it..

Guilty_pleasure @aish : I couldn't agree more with you

Schaff Mária Scarlet Judging by your comment I'm not sure whether you have seen the 2nd season or not but if not then you should give it try I think bc partially that story is the answer to your questions Regarding the others well I think the main point is they get to know each other step by step. Of course this is because of the living together thing but Marina even said it in the 1st season somewhere that there's no ifs because it happened and in love fate is also there. And the other opportunities they 'miss'... Well that's not exactly true with most of them they remain in contact bc they are friends (Daichi for sure, Natsume 2nd S., Issei - not quite sure, Yuri - family member, Saeko? - didn't care less, I couldn't stand her) and yep this is love too: sometimes you heart people around you through no fault of your own, because you can give your only one person. And these are just their decisions. I always thought that Daichi and Nao would have been together sooner if they were really meant to be, they had 8 years to do that, yet somehow they didn't. Daichi only then showed his other side to Nao when a rival had come up. Issei was cute though but clearly just a friend to Nao, nothing more. Natsume is an interesting one but between Uehara and Nao there's pure love, literally there's nothing that can beat that. I honestly think it is more hurting (also unfair) to be with someone while your heart belongs to someone else so I'm glad they didn't do it. Yep, great opportunities but they decided to miss them bc they had something better together and in their (and my) opinion it is worth it.

sentai21 Man im still waiting for season 3 :,) i really really wish there is season 3. Please Netflix

arkin_productions The mean girl with glasses of season 1 is actually Yui Ito! For those who didn't know, she's the one who played as Sakura Haruno in the Naruto Stage Play as well as Kyoko in the Kateikyo Hitman Reborn Stage play. She's an amazing actress and has a lovely singing voice.

RomComLover June 2020 is approaching! This is when the young couple is scheduled to move back into their first apartment together. (Remember the lease agreement at the end of season one.)

Anyway, I'd love to see a single episode movie of an hour and a half to conclude the series with them finally getting married.

Sumit Kshirsagar In episode s01e03, at time around 9:13 when she is making potato salad, there is a man's voice. But there was no one around....

Darlene I loved both leading actor's,I've watched it over and over and never get tired of it and he is a fox

Aish I agree with who ever said the female lead is naive and annoying af. Especially the part where she's so scared her boyfriend will be taken away from her bc there are many pretty girls. What the fuck. Who is so fucking boneless and doesn't she trust the guy at all? Also, I think have leads like this who have no fucking self respect and go off to cry over the pettiest shit doesn't deserve to have a drama. What are they trying to teach young people who are easily influenced. The writers should have tweeked the script to make her a bit bold bc the whole 'damsel in distress' act is getting old.

Yakira J I love how it’s like a coming of age yet a comedy and the casts surprisingly fits their characters

Sofia Hi Scarlet. I could not agree more about the great job the writers and directors of GoodMorningCall, did. From what i got from season 1 Nao begins to have feelings for Uehara since episode 3 if i can remember correctly, way before she had an offer on the girls dorm. Also Uehara shows of glimpses of emotion since episode one, and finally everything starts to show clearly on the episode of Christmas, the way he looks at her when he comes back, or in the next when she says the candle is cute, or when he wakes up close to her etc. I really think they are a perfect match for each other. They are both young and clueless when it comes to being in a relationship. Neither of them had one before, and i think it is absolutely amazing the way the story follows them while exploring, learning and developing those feelings towards one another. Small steps yeah i know, but the development is there both in season 1 as well as in season 2. As for the the possibility of them not ending up together if they hadn't been flatmates, well.. the last episode of season 2 proves it wrong "No matter when or how i met Yoshikawa, i would have fallen for her"... And as Marina mentioned in season 1 "fate and chance is what love is made from". <3 <3 <3

Scarlet Am I the only one that believes that they wouldn’t have gotten together if they hadn’t lived together? In the first season Nao didn’t even like Uehara in general and as a person. If she had moved into the dorm I honestly think she would have continued to not see him the way every other girl did vise versa Uehara wouldn’t haven even looked at her either..It feels like in the end both have missed out on great opportunities to be with great people. If they hadn’t gotten back together so quickly I feel they may have grown up a little more and realized that the world didn’t evolve around just each other. I think Nao has the right idea breaking up to see if it was really by chance that they were together. She probably would’ve grown more as a person if she were single. I hated seeing so many people heartbroken over Nao and Uehara because those people didn’t even get a chance and now they just had to live with it in the show. All that aside I guess I’m happy to see that they both ended up happy. It’s crazy how deep a person can get into a show so congratulations to the writers and directors of GoodMorningCall, they really did an amazing job with this. Anyways there’s my unwanted opinion, I just had to get it out. ;)

Vanny I’ve Watched season 1&2 only 2 days, sunday and Monday ?

Sofia Any news for a season 3 maybe? People say to send requests to netflix

Ni Hi Rin. It depends on culture, and maybe In Japan women is typically like that. But they are not consider as naive or stupid. Culture make the norm and how ppl behave.

Yura I am still questioning and wondering, who give them the double contract? Since the grandmother is the owner land, n she didn't give them that kind of contract. But when I watch drama she handle the contract by her self. So who scam them?

Sofia I must admit i am going crazy for this story. Both main characters are perfect on how they "perform" the roles of the manga. Nao is a very innocent and giving person. Uehara unable to express his feelings in general, due to his unrequited love for his first love, finds it hard to come close to Nao in a traditional way. That is the cute part of it, that he does those little things and shows that he cares so secretively that there is no way you cannot adore him. There is no such thing as a misogynist behavior as some say, he just teases the girl he loves as a little kid. And actually i cannot think of anyone else who could unlock the distant character of Uehara in such a beautiful and loving way. Both seasons are great for their own reasons, in the first we see the way they approach each other and finally get together, and in the second we can see the development of their lovey-dovey relationship. I really really really hope for a third season as thousands of others from what I can see in the social media and the internet in general. Season 3 would be a true delight!!! Crossing fingers!

Rin Am I the only one who think the female lead is so annoying!!!?? How can she be so weak, naive and stupid? In real life, that kind of girl would not last long!

I prefer Marina among female character. Daichi is my best man though. Issei also my second favorite.

Dramafanatic Stumble on this and my first time watching a japanese drama. Loved the lightness of this drama and can be recommended for watching to younger ones (general patronage). Both Season 1&2 are enjoyable to watch it shows some charcter/virtues that youth/teenager should emulate like self-restraints, unconditional love, valueing a friendship and patience. Can’t wait for season 3...hope avid watchers like me will not be disappointed?

CCast Watched Season 1 in 3 days and Season2 in 2 days, Love the show and can't wait for Season 3. Ready for more.

Haley I love how in Season 2 we get to see development in all the characters! Nao cares so much about the people around her and shows off her strength in trying hard at everything. This is a wonderful show and I would be excited to see a Season 3!

dramawatcher Do Japanese kids swear a lot? I am a bit surprised at the language.

Terry I agree with Isik and Neha's comments. The female lead character, Nao, as a high school student was cute and understandable in her inexperience...however in season 2 she has gotten worse not grown. Season 2 she is down right stupid and like a little kid, not a young women at University. I do love the show however and love the other characters. Many of the story lines are interesting and funny, especially in season 1...I do hope for a season 3 but I hope they let Nao grow and get more insight into her relationship, make her smarter and not so immature and giggly. Beside the 2 leads, my favorite characters are Issie, Abe, Daichi and Marina. Hope to see more of them if there is a season 3.

Neha If you are one of those people who have watched a lot of asian dramas and are fed up with seeing the typical weak, clumsy, clueless, dumb, child-acting female lead who just dogs after a guy she likes. You are not going to be able to bare this drama. Her dumbness and clumsiness is on another level where it's not even believable and as a girl you are going to get frustrated watching it. I felt like I needed to watch discovery channel afterwards to cleanse my mind from all the dumbness she portrayed.I felt like I needed anger management afterwards. The only thing that made the show more bearable was that there are cute jealousy scenes, and Uehara is not always so predictable. And the supporting cast are somewhat brighter characters when it comes to intellect.

Ricardo Williams Do you know the soundtrack of the drama? Or the artist who made the music?

Sheyla I LOVE the show! I am from Bosnia (Europe) and i watched 2 season in 2 weeks! I am really hoping for 3 season!!!!!!

Js Really good show. I agree with some of the comments about how Nao is portrayed as unconfident, and Natsume made a move. Boo. I'm enjoying watching this with my coworkers, as many of us like Japanese dramas.

A great show. Gambatte for season 3...onagaishi masu

Isik I hated how they portray Yoshikawa. She is weak, not smart, not talented, not have any self-respect and fully dependent on his boyfriend. And her character development getting worse in the second season - I don't even know how is that possible- she can't even capable of forming a full sentence. She is a very bad example for the younger female audience IMO.

Jillian Boyer I loved Issei's Character so much!!!!!!!!!!!!. He was such a softy and he was so cute!. also sorry my exclamation mark is broken on my computer so ill use periods, but know i'm being enthusiastic about this. I loved that he was not just another guy for Nao, but he was a good friend, boss and even father figure when Nao needed it. He was so nice and honestly cared about Nao's well being, even before he started to like her. As much as i got serious second lead syndrome from all three, Daichi, Issei and Natsume, Every second in season 2 I wished for him to show up at least once. I man they even had Nao's birthday party without even thinking of inviting him???? they were practically family!!. I mean its not like they moved across the world, its just an hour or two drive for issei at the most. I also love his nickname.. It-chan.

Lo ALSO HOPING FOR SEASON 3!! I binge watched the first two seasons in only 2-3 days! I want more!!!

Ann I love this show, can't understand a word without subtitles but it's so adorable, I've re-watched many time, hopefully Netflix allows for a season 3.

Fmeher As Lorraine said I m also addicted by this drama and m moved by this cute unsaid simple love story. Desparately waiting for season 3

Luke Natsume was always a prick to me. Like, yes perhaps Uehara isn't the best dude out there, but he still tried to make a move on Nao when she was still together with Uehara! What kinda friend does that? Really not a good dude at all. And like, if you know you had feelings for a friend's girlfriend, seriously have the guts to go and talk it out and don't be a prick to wait for a strain in the relationship to manipulate Nao's feelings. Natsume was more or less the cause for the strain in the first place. Like, yes perhaps Nao is a bit clueless and yet you still take advantage of that fact and kiss her and pass it off as nothing. Not a good person as all and I don't understand how Uehara can forgive him in the end!!!!!

Kaitlyn It really bothers me how Nao can't see what a shitty boyfriend Urehara is. He doesn't treat her very well, he doesn't know how to communicate AT ALL, he doesn't visit her in the hospital ON HER BIRTHDAY. Wtf. Their relationship is entirely unhealthy and dysfunctional, she should've dated Daichi. Although I think she needs to take a break from how love-obsessed she is.

Aline Nina You have many fans here in Brazil and we are waiting for season 3 anxiously! Please don't stop. As Lorraine said, this is a simple love story like we don't see anymore. I am 40 and I watch it with my 15 yr daughter. And we love it.

cu4cafe Saw the comic strip... Lead female character is JUST LIKE the female in the comic strip. Could not find a more perfect portrayal.

Lorraine Love "Good Morning Call". I am 62, but still love the simple romance. The love of my life past away but ours was a simple romance with complications occasional arising just like this. At times he would appear mad at me. Later I learned he was just unsure of how I felt about him and this made him insecure. Although to everyone else he may have appeared confident, I knew the truth. I saw the love in his eyes, the little things he did when no one was looking and the little boy who became a man to fast. I have no doubt that he loved me with his whole heart and would have done anything for me if complications had not intervened at times. I can relate to this show even at my age. I truly love this show and hope you will create more.

Lala did nao related to naoki and uehara related to aihara haha lol just my opinion xD, i really love the first season it so interesting, but im dont really like the second season because it makes me crying when they're break up :( and i also annoyed with the scenes when saeko kiss uehara and natsume kiss nao, i thought the kiss is only for uehara and nao but they kiss with another person that makes me annoyed huhuhu *just my opinion xD

Yuri Hisashi-kun is so annoying! Really so mean and uncool! If I were heroine I would never pick a guy like him! He 'loves' her, but treats her without any respect.. act like a bastard! Even If she don't know any foreign movie, he should let her watch. Being nice is not that hard... and he's just MEAN! besides Nao-chan is terrible actress... her face and body expressions are on primary school level. Thank you.

Geo Hey! WE need season 3 ! Don't stop it

Savannah What is the High School that they go to?

Gre Hello! Anyone know the Soundtracks name of the songs in the season 2?

Pakoo My bad! I liked what Natsume did at the end! I blanked on that.

Bibi (Got cut off on my previous comment, lol) What I love about the series is that I can relate to many of the characters and what they are going thru or they remind me of people I have known. Yet as oposed to real life, the situations are positive in the end, and funny and can be sad but they always bounce up and Leave me wanting to watch more. Different from the played out crude, rude or vulgar standards of everyday shows , it is delightful to see a show without any of the tasteless stuff TV shows force upon the watchers. It is full of drama, laughs, surprises, disapointments, and more real life throws at us, but in a positive and clean qay of dealing with things. It also let me see how different cultures deal with things and it gave me a positive feel all around. No blood, no guts, no baby drama, no drugs, no bullets or violence. Yet, bullying, jealousy, insecurity, friendships, broken hearts and love and many other real human emotions that are presented that is what makes me totally recommend this show to anyone wanting to distress from work or school or everyday life. I sleep good after watching this... and trust me: even if you are not in HS, you will love this show because of how clean and funny it can be. As I said: I am waaaaay passed HS. Full time hard worker. I love it.

Getting ready for season 2 in a min.....

Bibi I am way passed the highschool years, but this netflix series is sooooo refreshing! I stumbled on it accidentally, actually curious about a Netflix Japanese colaboration and OMG! I am hooked! Just finished first season (in 2 days) even watched it on my lunch breaks at work.

Obviously Nao is extremely overly dramatic (I dont think I know anyone like her) yet at the same time very naive and caring and humble and honest.... not the hottest pr sexiest compared to some others (yet very pretty still) yet so lovingly beautiful

Faunaandflora Oh I love good morning call!!!! It so romantic and so sweet story! And how gorgeous they play I watched it on Netflix and finished both seasons in two days and after that I watched it again! I was so sad that it was over! Nao Yoshikawa and natsume are nice but Nao Yoshikawa and Uehara are the best of the world they are so sweet gorgeous admirable the best couple in the world !! #UeharaYoshikawaforever

Pakoo I actually enjoyed the side story with Nanase and Daichi. I thought their relationship was able to provide viewers with a new perspective and lesson in the show, and as someone who's been in Nanase's shoes, I found it heartwarming. Plus I appreciated Nao's consideration for her friends. I found that her maturity showed really well at times even when she would end the episode doing something unnecessarily naive.

I enjoyed Season 2 but I just would've wished if Natsume actually learned a lesson or was told off!

Sim So hoping for a season 3 just happen to stumbled upon this and fell in love with it immediately watch it out in a few days.season 3 please

Yoshikawa = imbecile In response to Aurora - I don't know if you are only speaking about Season 1 but you have some valid points.

Yoshikawa regressed in Season 2. She had at least some spunk in Season 1, but became an imbecile in Season 2. Why would she continue to treat Natsume as a friend when he was was the cause of ALL of her relationship problems with Uehara? Natsume was a wolf in sheep's clothing - a guy pretending to be nice, but really a snake. He was the worst - always lurking with his guilty, weasly look. Why do so many people like Natsume?

Uehara deserved a better story line also. He got stuck having to react to that Idiot Yoshikawa's actions. Why didn't she tell Uehara about the kiss or explain why she didn't tell him? Instead she just stood there like an idiot with that weasel behind you. Uehara should have told that guy to leave or done something a bit stronger. Okay, maybe Uehara was an idiot also.

Natsume, Saeko, Nanase and Daichi can be omitted from Season 3. They brought the whole franchise down. The acting was poor (especially Saeko) and their story lines were just so weak. I hope they can so better if they do produce a Season 3. I don't know why they wouldn't, as it seems to be super popular on Netfilx.

Normally, would watch a series and move on or forget it, but this one irritated me so much that I had to write this note.

Karolina It took me a year to watch season 1 bc it felt a bit painful. I always wanted Nao with the second leads and thought Uehara was cold and treated her like an annoying child. Season 2 I finished within a few days because it was amazing. I don't know if directors changed or what, but it was deeper. We got to see more of Uehara and how he really felt about things. Nao become more well rounded and complex. I want her to be the with Natsume so badly (sorry Daichi). But I'm betting it'll always be Uehara. Either way, season 1 was Nao feeling lacking and worthless compared to Uehara. Season 2 was Uehara feeling worthless compared to Nao. I finally get to hear what Uehara really thinks instead of that cold face and nods.

Such a deep love for this show! I had to pace myself with only 2 episodes a night because i didn't want this show to end!! It was so good and my first Japanese drama. I need a season 3 or I might just explode!!!!!

Natsume is the worst character ever Spoilers ahead.... Despite what follows, I would love to see a Season 3. That is if they can bring back some of the spark from Season 1. Season 2 was so painful to watch. It all started with the horrible Natsume character. Granted, the writers needed something to create tension or drama, but he was the worst. He was not the "nice guy" that Uehara thought he was. He was a shady character. He undermined Uehara and Yoshikawa's relationship from the beginning and would have stolen Yoshikawa in an instant. Nice friend. This led to Yoshikawa transforming from a cute and fun "idiot," into a simpering, pathetic wreck. They made her regress to a juvenile, afraid of a real adult relationship. Uehara was not a jerk; they just made him lose his mind as well!

There was so much drama and stupidity. Why couldn't they just speak to one another every now and then. Why did they not boot Natsume to the curb when they knew his intentions? There is nothing worse than a person who does the wrong thing and then says "I'm sorry" as an excuse. Again, Yoshikawa was so DUMB!

The best ending would have been for Uehara and Yoshikawa to realize that they were meant for each other on their own. They would then banish Natsume and Saeko (the conniving psychos) from their lives. Instead Natsume and Saeko got some redemption for their horrid behavior! And Uehara and Yoshikawa accepted them. Was it so they could all be at the PARTY?

The two other annoying characters were Saeko (overbearing with over the top acting) and Nanase (dour and boring as hell).

Please bring back Issei and Kitaura. They were at least decent characters.

I'm thinking there will be no Season 3, and hope that Shiraishi and Fukuhara go on to bigger and better things.

my litol natsume One of my most favorite series <3 seemed very boring in the first but fell in love with immediately. Yo the second season is way more interesting than this one. Somehow I always ship nao with the second leads lol daichi, abe, icchan and my precious natsume :'-* Give it a try, there's something special in this series

Lusiane Bahia This series is perfect! I love it too much! Few people understand the message of this story. I'm from Brazil. I watched the show on Netflix. When will it be the second season? I'm too anxious.

Bvs +Aurora I agree! I like Japanese dramas but this one makes no sense....

Aurora This is seriously one of the most disappointing shows I have ever watched. It started out really promising but totally went downhill the longer it went on. There’s so much that was messed up but the biggest and fatal problem this show had was between Nao and Hisashi. Nao, first of all, is a terrible character. She actually gets less strong as a person and character as the show goes on. I could actually see in the beginning of the show why Uehara would like Nao, but as soon as they actually started getting romantic, Nao becomes pathetic. She is ridiculously weak as a woman and a person and blames herself for everything that happens between her and Hisashi. She has no confidence and no ability to speak up for herself and she doesn’t develop it as time goes on. It left me wondering why anyone, not just Hisashi, liked her.

Hisashi, meanwhile, doesn’t change at all. He treats Nao like absolute crap. I expected this from the archetype for his character but I also expected him to grow into a better person as he got to know and care for Nao. He is cold and affectionless toward her, and only expresses interest in being with her when he is feeling jealous because another man likes Nao. Yeah, totally healthy!! And this does not change. Nao does everything under the sun for him and he treats her like an annoyance. She literally ends up in the hospital at one point and he doesn’t call or visit her.

Conclusion: Uehara sucks and Nao is annoying. Don’t watch this crap unless you like completely dysfunctional, unhealthy, unromantic romances for some odd reason.

eszen vallente . ..i really this drama.i want to see them more,so please make it until season with long episodes and please make it back uihara vs daitse fighting over nao. ..thank you so much for this wonderful drama. ..

oof yes this is unbelievably cringeworthy but i still love it. the only thing i don't like about this show is how some characters just leave so suddenly and we never see them again. their stories got wrapped up but yknow they just... leave. daichi came back for season 2 though which is good but i was quite sad when icchan left and when yuri left. please let the characters who have gone have special appearances and such in season 3.

Maia I loved this tv show! When is Season 3 coming out?

Amandeep Finished Good Morning Call for the first and second season (Japanese TV show). While the plot is exaggerated yet highly entertaining, the writing is interesting and deep. It has plenty of hilarious moments that make me laugh. The characters have a good acting especially Haruka. I highly recommend this TV show.

Vilmos Szabadi Great, because I reckognise the behavior of my fiancé who is a splendid Japanese:-) Otsukaresamadeshita!

Alf Does anyone know if the stuffed animal tissue holders are available for purchase somewhere? Are those actual characters or just made up for the show?

Just Say N2O After watching all 27 episodes, I finally understand why the birth rate in Japan is near zero.

Sen Pai This is a typical asian tv series, where the girl lead is playing as the dumb and clumsy, head-over-heels-in-love-chic, while the guy is the smart and serious, perfect-in-all-aspect and the most chased after. It is predictable in so many ways. But it is funny in so many ways too. The girl is funny too. It is a little annoying watching her grinning and giggling (in public) whenever she thinks about the guy. Like in real life, who would ever do that??? People watching you would think you're crazy. It is annoying but funny. And also, the guy is not that good-looking, so i wonder why girls go crazy about him. Icchan and Natsume look way better than him.

Sakura I really like this show even if the main girl is annoying at times this show is funny and it kind of reminds me of itazura na kids or it started with a kiss

S Its so annoying how the lead girl in this is dumb af. When things get 'bad' and Uehara tries to solve it she just cries assuming that he doesn't like her anymore. Im sick of it. This mans is just trying to solve the f------ problem. I mean overall its not bad just the girl is a stereotypical weak main character and I'm not for it.

tina this drama is so amazing. When my friend Felicia introduced me to Good Morning Call I was watching it 24/7 and my brother and sisters were getting so mad I finished season 2 in less the three days I really hope you guys make a season three :)

Ummi This drama hooked me. I’m glad I click the notification Netflix gave me. What I love about this drama is the otp has no eyes for others. Nao Yoshikawa only has eyes for Hisashi Uehara. Hisashi Uehara only has eyes for Nao Yoshikawa.

Irina This show is absolutely amazing I am so looking forward for another few seasons #pushingmyluck PLEASE GIVE US A SEASON 3. Thank you so much for such an amazing show ✨

Donna Is there going to be anothere season? Can't leave it at 27 epiode. Please.

Guillermo Casas Outstanding show, when is Season 3 coming out, waiting anchistly.

fth Am I the only one who is rooting for NaoXIcchan?? anyways great series looking forward for season 2. more NaoXIcchan please!! hahaha

Chelsea I really enjoyed this drama. I watch a lot of Asian dramas and I have to say this is in the top 3 at least. One thing I don't understand, and it's provably just a cultural difference, but if it were me personally I would've punched the girls who were bullying me. Or had someone else do it for me, either way, they would've gotten there's. And also, our school system doesn't care who lives with who. As long as you show up by the bell and don't fail, you're golden. I feel it's not the schools business who they live with, especially since both of their families knew and approved of it. That stuff wouldn't happen here in America. I've also come to the conclusion after watching numerous Asian dramas that they just don't get angry, or they never do anything about it. They just put up with a bunch of bs, which also, wouldn't happen here. These people need a freaking back bone. But that's just my opinion.

Snow Drops Haruka is really superb as Nao in this drama.....the acting looks so natural and so amusing at times ><

she is really awesome :), when she pouts or something she looks even cuter hehehe.....

really really nice drama series , 17 episodes was kind of unexpected but i will still take it :)..superb

Mar i love the drama! the caracters are so perfect!

Ian I just want to thank the producers, actors and all involved for creating this show. It took me back to my school days where I lived a very similar story, unfortunately I was Issei but still have some very fond memories of the girl involved. I think everyone involved with this show has done great job, the casting could not have been better. It has opened my eyes to Japanese culture and the quality of their productions. From what I can tell this show has been very popular here in Australia and I do hope they do a second series.

Lou Hey, everybody! I've been ghost reading this thread for a while and I'd like to weigh in. I've just came across an instagram comment stating the "good morning call show" account is a fake. This fake account created all the hype about the second season, but actually there's never going to be a second season. I'm feeling so disappointed...do you really think we'll never be able to see new episodes pf GMC?

catalina I like Yuri but sometimes she can be annoying because she gets in the way too much, especially when she ruined the valentines day for them :( it made me mad,but it makes me happy that she didn't ruin their relationship. But i hope season 2 comes out quick cause i cant wait anymore ;)

Jesna All I can say is Yuririn is annoying and always meddling in their relationship. At the time she soak wet in rain and Hisashi-kun ignore Nao-chan waiting in the rain. But in the end, all the problems is solved. Overall is good and if you want to kill your time. Watch this...very recommendable.

Menalyn There's a 5 kisses between in Nao-chan and Hisashi-kun in Episode 1, 2 times in Episode 10, 1 kiss in Onsen trip and the last one is Episode 17. Nothing but saying.

Feylarose Finished it in one and half day. Once you start watching, you can't leave it. I think they very comfortable and suited in their role just like Kento/Mirei. I hope there an special episode where in they live together again in Villa Fresca room 305 after 3 years. Yosh...Yosh....negai negai..

Lovehj Love this drama. Watched couple times already. Can't wait to watch season 2. I think this the best live action adoption i have ever seen. It's better than playful kiss

Saku654 Really good drama but the manga is so much better, mostly because of uehara cause he is more playful in the manga, nothing like in the serie that appears more like "playful kiss or started with a kiss"

Kimmy chan I just done watching it it was really great drama. Im looking forward for the season 2 of this. I guess daichi is more cuter than uehara hehe

Sara Yayy season 2 is coming ?

Connie lynn My 17 year old daughter and, I started watching. We absolutely love this show. We can't wait for more episodes. All of the actors make this fun, and entertaining. Thank you so much. Keep up the wonder for job your doing. ?

minyoongijangjangmanboongboong Oh I forgot! I heard there's an upcoming season.~ Maybe the third guy will finally show up and all my unanswered questions will be solved. I hope he's as handsome as the other two♡♡ And perhaps he might be another love interest of Nao and rival of Uehara? Ooh cant wait!!^_^

minyoongijangjangmanboongboong I've been wondering about this for a while now... In their school there are three guys who are called the "Top Three".. 1.Uehara 2.Daichi 3.? <-----(whos the other one?)

taehui whats the 3 bullies names? im trying to find the actresses names but cant find them. i know the smart one with glasses in the drama is shiori but i dont know the actresses name

Shay Sterling Yashalina Blair, I KNOW RIGHT?! I've been up since 12 am looking for it. Now it's 3. I'm so tired, but I don't want to give up. I realllyyy want to know that name of the song, it's so... Peaceful yet intense!

yashalina blair I love this show. It is sweet and innocent. The song that plays as Nao and Uehara fall in love is my new obsession. Does anyone know the name of it?

sandy I love kentaro

brooklyn is there going to be a season 2

wang so shugo nagashima looks like kwangsoo...haha

Jo Love the show on Netflix. The girl is a brilliant actor and both boys are handsome and good actors but uehara character is like Mr Darcy! Young hopeless romance but well directed! Reminds you of your teenage crushes. Look forward to more such Japanese shows.

Cynthia Valle First Japanese Film I watch. I Am In Love!❤

- @Ran no, you're wrong

Ran Haven't watched this yet but judging from the trailer, the guy doesn't seem like a very good actor...

Judy She really is and the hero, Uehara, really is too cold for my liking. But all followed the script given to them. I prefer her role to grow & not remain silly. I gave this a 99% rating though because it is downright entertaining. I can't wait for the next season. I want to go to Japan and see Haruka Fukuhara. I hv never ever watched a Japanese movie or tv series before. Because of Haruka, Shunya, Moe, & all the casts, I'm now interested in Japanese films. My family & I will try to visit Japan soon. We live in Sydney & London.

Haruka is really very pretty & talented. She shd study English & be an international star. She's better than many actresses her own age.

Judy I love this manga. Never hv I watched or read a manga before but I was browsing on Netflix & found this. Then I read the manga. The female lead, Nao, just played the part to perfection, even better. She made me laugh & teary at the same time considering she's only 17 yrs old when this was filmed. We cannot criticize her on the story because she followed the script given to her, that she's dumb & things like that. I would prefer her to be intelligent & elegant because

Big Murph Anyone know where the show was filmed? Like Tokyo, duh, but where in the big city? Looks kinda like Shimokitazawa...

Reya Mirtika's comment is pretty much spot on in their description of this drama. For me, it should have ended at episode ten or so, it got kind of unbearable after that. I can only deal with so much oblivion and ditzyness and insecurities. Probably just not my type of show... side note, I would have loved more Kitaura. These types of heroines, I like.

Mirtika The second-guy syndrome strikes again. Also the "heroine who is too stupid to live." I still found this entertaining in typical/cliche shoujo fashion. No surprises here: lots of not-communicating, misunderstandings, gruff lead-guy with tragic history that has closed up his heart and who needs sensitizing, idiot-lead girl who yet manages to attract a plethora of guys, understanding friends.

I'd totally have gone for Dai-chan. :D

If you love school-life/romance/shoujo and its conventions, then here you go.

William Tickle Oh gosh! This is so so good! I mean like.. normally japanese dramas are really cheesy and the casts are somewhat obnoxious but but (Please don't feel offended >.<) But!!! THis drama has the most perfect caassst! Not one character I must say is not suited for the role! And the heroine did such a gooood job!!! She is so cool and did a perfect job in portraying Nao! And Uehara's character is so perfect toO! This might be the best japanese drama i'v ever watched after Perfect girl evolution! RLLY RECOMMEND IT!!

Dominic This dorama is only OK, if it were to run the usual 9-10 episodes JDrama standard than it would have been much better. The 17 episodes length made the jdrama drag on giving the similar feeling of watching KDrama.

Brilli Givya This dorama really takes my attention. It is sweet in its way~
