Married couple Kim Sung-Jae (Son Hyun-Joo) & Yu Ho-Jeong gets divorced. Prior to their divorce, the couple had an argument and their five year old son left the house. Their child died by a car accident. The guilt from their child's death weighted heavily on the parents and eventually they divorced because of this.
As time goes on, the ex spouses meet again as neighbors ...

Park Min Apr 20 2024 8:36 pm The drama was a frustrating experience, primarily due to its main plotline which flopped majorly. They probably choose the worst route to execute its main story. Both leads and their love interests were a bad combination that spawned a dreadful dynamic for 65 episodes. Subsequently, the resolution after endless quarrels was equally dreadful and ended in a flat let down. On the other hand, the side plots and relationships were better in comparison but nothing stood out. Conflicts seemed forced and resolutions lacked any real emotional impact. The drama failed to offer any redeeming qualities that could compensate for its lackluster central storyline.
It was unbelievably forceful and super giga cringe to have the FL attend her ex-husband wedding for the ending. Really tacky!
Tara Aug 06 2019 7:56 am Currently watching this because I love Choi Won-young. His chemistry with Han Chae-ah was great. They played such a cute couple in this drama. I wonder why they haven't acted together again ever since.

I like the chef and Ji Yeong-ssi, Chae Young Sil and her employer also Gi Hun ajussi and his cheerful bride Ha Yeong. The music behind the romance between Chae Young Sil and her employer was so adorable. Very touchy! Hope its drama will be happy ending...
Shin Seong Rok had done better in this drama than his previous drama 'Three Man and A Baby?" Hong Yo Seop was always so neat, handsome and respectful! Love him!
komawolinda Aug 28 2011 3:01 pm over the course of my short life, and the countless korean dramas i've watched, this my favorite drama of all time. while watching it, i felt pain when they felt pain, i cried when they cried, and i smiled when they smiled it all seemed so real, so genuine i feel like i've changed throughout this drama, the most original words were forever inscribed into my heart to watch it makes me feel full, full of life, pain, and full of the utmost gratitude and the ending, it left me in an deep empty well of despair of all the korean dramas i've watched, this was the only one that failed to let the two soul mates come together (of course when the circumstances allowed it to be so) ahhh, this drama arouses many questions for me, "why must all good things come to an end?" and "why must bad things happen to good people?" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. i hate how i love this drama so, well anyhow and although i have finished this drama a month ago, even today the feelings that once surrrounded me still feel so real if you haven't watched this drama yet, and can stand the feeling of melancholy, i HIGHLY reccommend you to watch this, just be sure to have a box of tissues beside you during the 2nd half of the drama the only complaint i would have of this drama is that they focused too much time on the side characters WHEN THEY SHOULD BE HAVING SCENES OF HIM AND HER !!! oh and thanks shin sung rok, komawo :)
Atzin Cielo Jan 02 2011 10:22 pm I really liked this drama--except for the ending. I'm not Korean so I didn't really appreciate the ending. Why didn't the Chef "man up" and stayed with Eun Seo's mom? He was bossed around by his mother, father, and sister. No one in the Chef's family wanted a divorcee for an in-law. But what did Eun Seo's mom do that was so wrong? She married a man who wasn't ready to be married to her? She put up with a very bossy mother-in-law. She, of course, had a very difficult time dealing with the death of her child. She got her life together and yet, she wasn't supposed to fall in love again. What a disappointment. I also didn't like the fact that Yong sil didn't have a wedding. So what if she was 50--why not let her have a nice wedding in the drama. She could have worn the traditional Korean dress which are so pretty. Anyway, I'm just sad that I liked this drama and it ended and left me uneasy because i think Eun Seo's mom needed to end up with the Chef.
