Park Min Mar 21 2023 3:18 pm I couldn't stomach most of Dong Yup scenes. They gave him too much attention and screen-time. Would prefer more focus on other characters. The drama itself was decent with a handful of funny scenes but unfortunately not memorable.
anzal May 28 2022 4:48 pm really really like the story, actors and how they were acted..... amazing drama
Fansof_heo May 20 2022 11:59 am Gil-kang (Heo Sung-tae) I love his anger, how people are scared of him and his soft heart! I love him too much :D
nalle Jul 03 2019 6:48 am I had given up on finding subs for this then in going somewhere I usually don't, poof, there all 10 brilliant episodes were there to marathon! I had to watch ep 1 in two sittings because I was tired and distracted, but wow, from eps 2-3 onward every bit was great! So Mich funny stuff in one show and so unusual and just Amazing. The acting Jung Sang Hoo and others put in is fabulous! I still have the finale to watch but wanted to find something out (below) and praise this show that I think because of its timeslot didn't get much attention but still did fine for tvN and really truly made me want a hundred seasons!
Heo Sung Tae: I will never look at you the same way. You are an actor I love to hate 95% of the roles of but wow. This was the perfect reset button to watch right before Watcher starts so I am not wanting to spit at you recalling so many bad guys you played so well. That whimpering fragile look of vulnerability totally made tears well up as I couldn't contain my crazy looking laughter. My belly hurt so many times watching this. It blended sarcastic wit, cute humor, slapstick antics, and so much more into one show while having so much heart and just being awesome. 10/10 for me. The slice of life feel was perfectly balanced so unlike, say, Reply 1988 it only took the first episode of confusion to feel like I was part of the forest and be totally sucked into every tiny detail! There is so much humor-some maybe lost to ppl who know little Korean-it never made me bored, sleepy etc after digesting the first hour of new information.
Now for the original reason I came online before the show is over, my question: to find out, through much searching, so much, like over 10 places about the show&its cast, just who is the one who looks and sounds like Lee Elijah in episode 9! Anyone confused about who I mean: Mi So is the lady's name, Son Yong Rak the birth-high school name of the character. I kept observing and thinking maybe it was truly a made up/aged Lee Elijah. Instead, I figured out that wow, someone seriously looks (right down to eyebrows!) and sounds and feels like a somewhat older more mature (like curves you get after childbirth) busty version of Lee Elijah! I coukd tell it could not be her with Shin Dong Yup born in 1971 and by all means looking over 40 if not quite his 47 years of age at the time they filmed and aired it; all the character's beloved plastic surgery in the world should not equate to a then-28 year old who can look several years younger! Still, go watch it! If you have gawked with a hefty girl crush or guy crush at the gorgeous face of Lee Elijah, well, her unni is here: Cha Seung Yeon (I typed, in reflex, Seung Heon first-been watching him since Scent)! The similarity is so uncanny, especially as I am watching her in Aide now and crushed nice and hard on her Last Empress villainy and Hammurabi cold sexy vibe and basically every single primetime role (and all are primetime but 1) except the minor one in Wonderful Days (not sure I can handle 125 episodes of the Hwang Geum Bok daily drama and could never find Heroes, the "QTV" production supposedly from early 2016. All to say I have studied that young gorgeous face). Makeup can alter lines (sharpen, soften, round, edge out, make noses seem smaller, etc), but they just have so many similarities I had to repeat the scene-went deaf because my eyes were busy flooding my brain with loud thoughts of the features that were so alike, the age diff the biggest thing (the stronger line separating the nose/mouth from the cheek), eyes and nose both too easily manipulated w/makeup to know, etc. They do not always look so alike, but wow, this one got me. I want to see them as siblings soon.
Himsa Feb 14 2019 6:37 am Underrated! Super amazing comedy with real life situations, every actor from villain to kids, brilliantly cast! Interesting story lines, so much variety! Really absorbing slice of life/comedy/alternative tv!

Hoosierr Aug 10 2018 4:22 am Feels like there's a good slice of life potential here.I'll have my eyes on this one
