Lee Goon (Kim Jae-Joong) used to be a promising tennis player, but he was injured. After that, he lost all of his self-esteem and his life completely changed. With the use of a memory eraser, his memory is erased and he is reborn with max self-esteem and presence. His manipulated first love is Kyung Joo-Yeon (Jin Se-Yun), who is a psychiatrist at the brain research center. Other people around him include his younger brother Lee Shin (Lee Jong-Won), who is ranked the world’s no.1 ranked tennis player. Meanwhile, Jeon Sae-Yan (Yang Hye-Ji) is Lee Shin’s translator.

Nikky Oct 12 2024 10:47 pm I'm glad Lee Goon and Joo Yeon will end up together they are my favorite couple from the beginning up to the end, this drama is not bad as others say, maybe there are complicated parts but I still pleased that the FL and ML were meant to be and the ones who ended up together, although the others have high expectation in this drama, me I really understand every characters description, I don't care about the negative comments, I'm here to appreciate everybody's effort and their acting is believable, I hope to see more dramas from Kim Jae Joong and Jin Se Yeon in the future because they got my heart in this drama, their chemistry is really impressive and pleasurable, I will also add them to my favorite couple

blueblue Sep 16 2024 8:02 am It's been forever since I see KimJaejoong on screen again. I almost forget that he was so good in drama Triangle. I love his acting here, from the depressed Lee Goon into goofy narcistic sincere guy. I really feel bad for his character Lee Goon, he is an absolute victim here. After watching ep 14, I do feel worse for Lee Goon TT I wish he will find peace at last and live his life to the fullest, with or without Jooyeon. I was so mad with the parents, how come the parent glorify their younger son only just because he is healthy one, become top tennis player (he's replaced though), and bring glory/pride to family. What about Lee Goon? Is he not their own son too? How come they treated him more badly than their dog, wtf!!! Lee Shin is a redflag for sure. After explanations and flashbacks about what really happened here and there, I had zero empathy for him. How he treated his brother was a big No! For the doctor, I had mixed reaction for her. She was so bad at the beginning, specially in a runaway mouse scene, that's not how a doctor reacts to patient or anyone in the first place. But after she got involved in Lee Goon's life, she was cute though with him. But, when she intertwined with Lee Shin, it's really annoying too. For OST, KimJaejoong voice in "It's okay" really enchanted me. His voice is so deep in emotion and so sad, it feels like he sings the song for Lee Goon. I can hear it has so much feeling into it. I cried a lot when I listen. It's in my spotify list and I keep replay the song over and over. In conclusion, I will finish this drama in hoping Lee Goon has his own life, peaceful and happy.
Parents Fault Sep 13 2024 6:14 pm Idk, maybe I'm too biased this time but I just can't empathize with Lee Shin despite revealing his feelings this episode, living in the shadow of Lee Goon (watched similar antagonist storyline like this & I usually could sympathize but not this time, they made the brother character too annoying).
For real, he denied wanting his brother's life but didn't stop himself and still not stopping to pursue JooYeon. He did not step up whenever their parents treat Lee Goon badly, for fvck sake's he treats him badly, why, because he resents him for how his life turned out -- but for real, he enjoyed the privileges the life-he-don't-like brings. He's not happy when his brother woke up confident and not have inferiority complex & victim mentality he was yapping about before the incident.
The doctor is stupid too. There's an obvious feud between the brothers and she kept on making herself be part of it. Stupid experiment too, I like the parallel when SaeYan's mom say something about bad memories but she couldn't see it. I empathize with SaeYan though. And maybe that's it, it's no use to erase bad memories. Psychology should have different approach so her causes are just not it.
It's the parents fault. They are hugely responsible for this. I doubt they'll show them suffering any consequences, or show they're repenting, because it is a kdrama afterall
Also I'm no longer rooting for the lead couple though they'll most likely end up together. I want Lee Shin to live his own life, happily, free from the people he already know and travel, live far from them and meet new good people later on. Even an open ending him traveling far would be better at this point.

Nimi Sep 10 2024 12:20 am Please don’t blame the brother,I can’t hate him though maybe because I started this because I’m a fan of Lee shin. He grew up living up to his brothers expectations,it’s like he grew up living the kind of life he never wanted cause he does not want to disappoint his parents or because his brother got hurt because of him. Lee shin is sad enough as it is,the writer should have given him freedom and his own love life,I don’t understand why they had to make him into a villain. The boy is not happy too. I blame the writers!!!!
Kay Reeves Sep 08 2024 9:37 am The only reason I am not dropping this drama is because I want to see the aftermath of Lee Goon getting his memory back and I am hoping and praying to whatever higher being out there is to somehow make the remaining last episodes in a full revenge drama and Lee Goon being successful and happy like a big manager or owner of a big agency without any of these people(the parents, the doctor/female lead and Lee Shin/the brother) interfering in his life anymore. He is the only victim I have seen in this drama and hope that the writers/directors listen to the audience once and make him happy and strong alone.

They always appear when nobody wants them to be there, and they stop, without saying sorry, the conversation between the main characters. 16 episodes of this drama are too much because the action is absent, it is about nothing, lacks of substance, boring.

But I Do Have A Problem With The Weird Storyline... it's so confusing to have lee shin pursuing the juyeon (female lead) outwardly in front of his brother cuz i thought Lee Shin was also the one trying his best to not steal his brother's lover again... yet it keeps portraying them fighting over the girl which i thought Lee Shin was really adamant about not doing...
so confusing.. so much headache..
promising story line and Actors But the script is just messy in little ways i've noticed.
it's not super realistic At All either so the whole thing comes off as almost weird/ unbelievable but i like the leading 3 actors acting nonetheless.

I need reality rom-com that don't mess with one's mind. I will rate it a 4/10 cause I liked the whole memory erasing thing but the rest is flawed

After all he's done, he doesn't feel guilt and even wanting to take the doctor, even if she's not the 1st love, if only he cares about his brother he knows it'll affect him. Also, the doctor should be smart, why was she acting to stupidly oblivious towards what's happening b/n the brothers (again regardless if she's the 1st love or not, it will entice the same emotions), so why is she not setting boundaries. I want to blame the parents, they surely have a big role to why their sons turned out that way, but I feel more annoyed with Lee Shin alone. Feel like Lee Goon would still forgive him coz that's the kind of brother he is.
I hope Lee Shin doesn't end up with anyone, with his current attitude and values, it would be a pity if ever he ends up with the real 1st love of Lee Goon or her doubles partner.

Even their sibling is a bit off…But it's the parents, especially the mom, who are the most dangerous, leaving deep scars. Lee Goon, you deserve happiness—ditch them all, especially that doctor!I can't stand this storyline—it's full of massive red flags, and somehow, these red flag characters are the main leads

Even his parents were terrible. There’s nothing good in this drama—it’s all red flags. Lee Goon, instead of chasing love, you’re better off living peacefully on your own.

Lee Goon really makes me laugh out loud starting from 2nd episode lol I was stressing out watching him suffered in 1st episode but then he became someone with overflowing confidence and like a part-time comedian right after the surgery.. when he cough out "frugaller" towards dr teo I burst out laughing ?? then I replay that part and see the nurse has already broke out of character too..
