Rose February 13, 2025, and I am still here waiting for the season 2. Please do. I need to see the justice.

Toca Hopefully artificial city release season 2, and jun hyeok regretting to divorced yoon jae hee, begging her to marry her again...

Lhot Vargas a very dreadful story that shows there is no justice does not prevail with powerful people

Park Min It's nothing but a dreadful watch, following this piece of artificial soulless junk made me wonder why some cast members, who are well off, accept such projects. I feel like somewhere not too long ago writers stopped trying when it came to these high-society themed dramas. A squeaky clean wardrobe, a massive mansion and a handful of dirty secrets won't cut it anymore. The shallowness and the lack of substance made a killer combo for a mind numbing experience. The drama's message absolutely wasn't worth 20 episodes to tell its tale nor was it interesting or entertaining to follow. In fact, they did a goddamn poor job in that regard. I'm fairly certain if you were to pick up any random drama from Park Soo Ae or Kim Kang Woo catalog it would be a guaranteed better watch than whatever this was.

Guilty_pleasure If you don't like scenario about a wife who has a jerk husband but only punish women who've affair with that jerk husband , cover his affair and even still having sex with him. Better you don't waste your time. Leave it.

Mbah I was on the edge of my coach through out the entire season. What an incredible series. Loved it so much to the point that i kept my preparations for my surgical exams on hold. Hahahha. The end though... Nothing was resolved. Yes her greed led her to where they were. But what about the others? Are you saying the society favors only men? How come her husband had no repracautions given how badly he disrespected their marriage. And the others too. Will Artificial city not come back for a season 2? This fan isn't so happy.

Cha I'm at ep 13 and I want to tell Yi-Seol to run away from Jae-Hee and all these people. Seriously Jae-Hee doesn't deserve her love.

Kim Acting was good by most but story line lacked substance and relevance especially through 20 episodes. The ending was not clear, even if you thought it was ambiguous. The synopsis had potential but unfortunately was disappointing overall. Would not recommend.

Temmy This is one of the most stupid kdrama series have ever watched. Why will you end the series like that after making jaee hui as a bad ass boss lady. This doesn't make sense,I can never recommend this series for anyone. There should be season 2 because you made me waste my time watching an headache series.

Rexas I wouldn’t recommend this drama to anyone. Whoever read this because they’re planning to watch it, don’t! All in all it is just too depressing. Never have I ever regret this much watching a kdrama. Usually I’m open to unhappy ending. But this one is not only unhappy ending, it’s suck ending.

Kdramastan i watch dramas for a break from reality. everyone's life is hard and dramas give hope coz truth always wins over evil. Protagonist is expected to win and not give up. sadly this is the only drama where the protagonist accepts defeat and evil wins. What was that dialogue where JH tells her mom in law she will experience things she hasnt? stupid inconsistent writing in last 2 episodes. the rest was good though.

Netfax I know her character was the devoted wife but her not sleeping with anyone for years is unrealistic. Women also have needs and shame Prosecutor Park even worse, this man was holding out for Yoon Jae-hui and nothing not even one night of passion or a real kiss happened after all that time. I am OK with the ending but I am really praying for a season 2 so many loose ends and unfinished business.

Malis Story line good, But not the ending

Josew Loved this drama, it was refreshing and with good acting and not just some ninja story where poor people acquire some supermen skills out of nowhere and win.

This felt more like documentary of faiths lost and never told of many people who suffer and public never knows about it , and if they do its mostly ignored.

There was not a single blameless character in this drama and all of them seen themselves as victims. Amazing acting . and what's wrong with you guys? are you 12 years old? who's only used to happy go lucky dramas that have some heroic endings? Not every drama has to have closure, and this one portrayed fight against the rich very realistically. If you wanted a heroine willing to sacrifice everything including her own child just to get back to powerful people, go watch anime.

Best in 22 so far ,i just loved everything about it.

Dee Cooper Season 2 is needed. Nothing was resolved.

Barbara Lockett Will there be a season 2?

Sheyyy I just googled the writer of this drama.. I am not surprised he could write something as miserable as this. Even if he wanted to make an illustration of an artificial city.. He could have at least made Jae Hui's character consistent. She should've continued being as badass as she was in the beginning I am so angry. And Jun Hyeok.. aaah I'm frustrated I am tired

Sheyyy Whoever wrote this drama should be sued. You just demoralized the good people in the society by saying that no matter what.. Evil prevails

Sheyyyy I seriously hate the ending of this drama It wasn't sad but annoying Jae Hui suffered but i still feel like the drama exagerrated a lot of things

Nope Yi seol my poor girl. Aigoo! This drama had good cast but story was 0/10.

Trish What a waste to watch...

Aggy It was not really a good drama. Although The Actors deserve a good Applause for their Performances. Jae Hae and Yi Seol were excellent . I love Hyun Woo.- he is adorable. He is so cute. N Hyeo Wan Sook the Despot did act so well- so Cool collected and evil. The husband of Jae Hae. was pathetic. Sorry. Weakling weakling Not sure if I like the ending. It was an open ended Final Episode. Will there be a Season 2. I hope so.

us8q9 what a waste.. Don't watch this drama if you don't want to feel like your time is wasted!!

first i don't feel sorry for jee hee's sadness at all. but I'm annoyed with the ending like this? at least in the end the evil got its retribution. I don't know what I expected from this drama.

in the early episodes, the character development of the characters was quite good, but it was getting worse and worse. I still don't understand what data jee hee gave to han dong min?? ahhh I really want to be angry, watching this is like watching a stupid show written by a fool.

Faithful There should be punishment please Let Yun jae hui take revenge

Faithful Will there be season 2??

Winnie Park Y-Seob’s trial is still going on, Jun-hyuk raped Kim Yi-Seo should be revealed in newspaper, the reporter concealing the truth yet to be dealt with, thus, the story line of artificial city is hanging . Sungjin group controlling seems weird , it should be vanished for meddling

CJ Another season please. And hoping that Han Sook, Jeon Hyeok, and Pil Sung rot in jail or be exiled somewhere. And that Jae Hee and Hyun Woo be reunited.

Whatjustgosh Jae hee herself was a scumbag and deserves no good. Just because she faced casting couch meant she should lose all logic and turn around all her morals to make that philanderer a prez and do all shady stuff she could do for it just because she wants power and never to be trampled over when daily she got trampled by psycho mil and psycho husband. I always rooted for her fall. As of yi seol i never understood how she was raped , her bro friend says she went their for a talk abt demolition, like really you go for a talk in an escorts bling bling dress with escort girls? Won't common sense tell you what next will happen? Then it was her bro friend again who leaves her in drugged state in junhyuks room like what the hell was that? Why he did that to an unconscious female friend and then curses jhyuk for raping her.

Writing was very weak and inconsistent there were times jae hee would turn out too smart to beat witch mil but most of the show she was grovelling over the feet of a woman for power who herself was married to her driver and still cooked food for him despite that he cheated on her with a maid. Entering into show mil wants jaehee divorced we arent told why mil wants divorce then she suddenly changes after shootng incident and helps jae hee we are not told why , may be because she thinks she can shoot herself she will go all lengths to make rapist son a prez but then looking at her manipulations and power it was so clear she could have done it all herself without any jaehee. Like what on earth was writers purpose of writing the show? What point are you trying to make? Just writing rubbish to fill slots gor 10-12 weekw

As of lee seol i wish she did more than a constipated face expression in show and fully opened up to jae hee. Why yi seol acted as a robot was beyond me, also why she went to meet junhyuk knowing shes in danger and got killed.

Erna (SPOILERS!) I understand that this is what reality looks like, that the rich will always get their way no better what. But it is precisely why the audience wants Jae Hee to take revenge so that we can have some hope in this kind of present world. But one thing good is that she did still keep her conscience and got out of that family. She did all this for her son. The writer could at least show some mother met son scenes at the end. The writer also shouldn’t have killed off Lee Seol but instead made her and Jae Hee be friends at the end and maybe open a business.

tran @sf, even you're smart and capable but with no connection or give yourself in you cannot get the job you want. That what happened to her at her first job. He wanted her to sleep with him if she wants the job. I think she's got the job at SungJin because her father break his principles to rule in favour for SungJin group. Correcte if my understanding not correct.

@... I have such high hope for the reporter to be truthful and honest and yet big disappointment. I'm sure I'll not be like him. I'm a dirt poor with my principles haha. And I rather die a poor person. Anyway, I thought JaeHee character should have much to learn from, I thought she came to the rich to change the system, to exposed their dirty businesses,, but too bad she's not that smart nor clever. There's no hope in this drama.

.. ..SPOILERS.. it's been a long time since a show made me feel this much depressed & helpless .. I don't know if I'd want a different ending though.. You get carried away, as the FL does, with the possibility of a "win"... There's no winning if you have morals, if there are things you cannot turn your back from . The first episodes are confusing & it is not explicitly clear why anyone does anything .. But, it is all implied if you watch carefully, and believe chars when they show&tell you who they are .. Dongmin succumbed to evil while the secretary showed a little glimpse of humanity.. And at the very least, JH got out, just like her unexpected friend YS wanted... Now, breaking the rock with eggs was impossible, but maybe someday, somehow, somebody cracks it..

sf In fact, what did she want and why? She was not from a poor family she was educated then, why did she want to fight with the giants? Be a leader in a proper community for you. She has changed the community, and she has become a slave.

Ray I hope yoon jae hee happy ending ??

kellie Too much thrown at the viewer at the beginning, too many characters, too many vague relationships, too much talk,. You're in the deep end of the pool and you don't know how you got there. From the comments here it doesn't seem to improve later. Too bad. I'm in it for Kim Mi-sook -- I'd watch her embroider doilies.

ssuga Two episodes left and I'm expecting big things to happen. The story has been very slow until ep 15.

Winnie In ep 17 now, when all and any nasty deeds of the mother in law of Jae Hi and secretary Gu be revealed to the public?

tran I'm team Jae Hee. As long as she doesn't kill a person whatever she has to do to achieve her goal I'm on her side. I hope the writer will give her a satisfactory outcome.

Mimi JunHyeok may attract to YiSeol, but plot twist here, how about if YiSeol actually have feeling for JaeHee - like romantic lesbian relationship?

Sando The only kdrama that I can watch one whole episode, without doing other stuff in between.

No sense It has become a disappointment n is going around and around in circles making zero sense . Also chaebol mom in law marrying a driver and staying loyal to him even till now are a stretch. Despite all misogyny in k society noone marries off daughter to drivers in rich class and no rich woman acts subservient to him through out. Shes shown most powerful woman in korea and at home she even cooks for a husband and respects him who was her driver, is uneducated, cheated on her, is extremely ill mannered, doesnt know his boundaries and most importantly always psychologically abuses her son. n what part of world this happens? not even in third world countries.

Also drama started with jae hi and her mil as sworn rivals and very shrewd merciless women always oneupmanning each other now suddenly their dynamics totally changed . Her mil planned to kick her out for last whole decade , was always super hostile to her, now she sudddenly changes behavior and acts like real mom. Also how jun hyok can become president without any prior career in politics at all.

Even though its true, in rich class all across the world men endlessly cheat on wives with infinite number of women and wives stay silent for money and power they gain from husband and to have husbands wealth transferred to their kids but still seeing jae hi going to extremes to cover up her husbands crappy cheating acts and continuing to support and baby sit him really really disgusts me. Its as if as a woman she gives no respect to herself. The portrayal of women in show seems like a disrespect to them. I dont care about jun hyeoks downfall but i surely want jae hui to be taken down and humiliated for doing all wrong things just to gain power.

Knightforsure Pretty boring and a real waste of Kim Kang Woo's talent

Remember I don't know what twists will unfold but I'm going to say this now. Jae Hee has more chemistry with Jung Ho while Joon Hyeok has more chemistry with Yi seol (Although we know he's just looking for another youngie to play with). Idk the what the story btw Yi seol and Jun hyeok is but I could take a solid guess after watching the most recent ep. Yi seol shouldn't trust Jae Hee too much!

T Ok I still think the writer is trying to throw you off a bit by adding so many characters in the mix but my guess to what this boils down to is Kim Yi-Seol had a baby with Jung Joon-Hyeok and that child is now living with Jung Joon-Hyeok and Yoon Jae-Hee but Kim Yi-Seol wants revenge on Jung Joon-Hyeok for basically sexually assaulting her and not even remembering he did it. I don't understand where her revenge plot for her roommate ties in but I think this is basically what is the underlying issue to the story here.

Tch First 3 eps were good and then it went boring and flat. Whats the point in acting larger than life when everything is sorted by mil and if she still kneels before her to give 1 more chance. What is female leads achievement? None. All Mils power.

Vanilla I would say this drama has an interesting premise. It always gives viewers some things to think and solve. The MIL seems to have some humane side. I may be wrong. But one thing I am really curious is do Jun Huk and Jae Hee love each other or not? Otherwise, why is Jae Hee doing all these things? Is it really worth it? Actually, it would be nice if she just leave that family, divorced her husband and go married to the prosecutor. That would be the perfect ending for me.

Hawhaw This is getting uglier... repeatable scenes, i still see the female lead weak and being controlled by her MIL-- I hope on next eps it won't be more draggy or else I'll stop watching it. So boring and not exciting to watch at all. The genre is fine on me but the scene, and storyline seems like disappointing.

Henry Great actress Soo ae ❤️?? deserve daesang Grand prize of artificial city ? great drama so mystery.

... I can't watch it legally so I'm waiting for any platform to take this drama because this is so good.... Love to see soo ae rejected the trash now we are breaking up for this masterpiece..

Show me @country bumpkin its only fl's makeup its something called glass skin which majority k actors do and it gives same effect as that of egg white applied on skin. I personally dislike that look and off lately majority actors would not wear this look in dramas (dont know about award shows or other events tho) but soo ae is doing it now and it is extremely overdone and looks very unnatural, like why apply so much glass skin makeup. She should tone it down. I dont get if someone fails ivf ans has hormonal imbance to not get pregnany than how can she fall preg with any other man? Didnt want hyeon wu to be illegitimate son but well oh... ..

Teddy bear Really hope it can be broadcast on netflix.

Virgo The lighting is ok and their makeup is also fine.

Country bumpkin Dear make-up artists; Could you make their faces less glowing? Either too many face whitening lotions or the light projectors caused or whatever other reasons for that, they look unhealthy.

Chiiee The plot is like a merry-go-round. Some moments, I think I've gotten a grasp on what's going on but most times I'm just confused. I will continue watching it though..

Seaview A lot of twists and turns but it is interesting. Quite addictive actually because you will wonder what will happen after next.

Seaview So far, what I can gather is this: - Soo Ae wants her husband Kim Kang Woo to be the president. In the process, she needs to overcome the many obstacles created by her MIL so as to achieve her goal - her husband is a flirt - the docent who always follows her may have ulterior motives, maybe for revenge or she likes Soo Ae? This is the mystery part - then there is the ex-boyfriend who still cares so much about Soo Ae. Will they get together or will anything happen to him?

The story is a psychological thriller so it may seem to have a lot of subplots but it is actually quite addictive once you get into the hang of it. An interesting and fun drama.

T We are already 4 episodes in and I still don't have a handle of what is going on. The writing of this drama is all over the place...too many plays, to many characters being thrown around and its happening all at once with no type of character or plot building to what is supposed to be going on in the story. I hope this drama get a little better but as it stands the writing sucks.

Enjoyable Its available on viki tho subs come late. It has many elements from drama Mine like second son being illegitimate, same museum and art galleries are used that were in Mine , art gallery plotline being involved though in here female lead is the art enthusiast unlike mine, a sister in law here too. Few things are common but by and large its a different show with its own different plotline and is more meaningfully written. Its a good show though it gets you tense every second of its airtime. Its all about mil creating an event to kick out junior dil and junior dil creating a much bigger event to retain position and bring down mil then again mil creating another big event to subjugate dil and the cycle repeats till the drama will end but its well written.

mtolent213 Oh my, musical actor Lee Choong Joo!!! Yes!!!! ???

At first, when I saw him in the funeral scene, I thought, "This guy looks familiar." Then I thought of musicals and had to check out the cast of the drama. Yes, Lee Choong Joo is in this drama!

... I heard that this drama got good review on 1st episode but I can't watch it because jtbc doesn't release this on any application.. I'm upset @jtbc ??

Riverview I will watch whatever show she is in but wish that she can act in more shows. Looking stylish is her forte so am looking forward to her new drama.

Yes please Glad soo ae rejected that song hyekyo drama and decided to take this drama.. this drama sounds so promising especially with the intense headache festival drama (which is I really love rather than watching boring melodrama)

Prince Can't wait!! The teasers look good!!

Zara They should make a drama on her life story

Wowww Soo Ae OMG I've missed her so much I could cry. I can't wait wait this to air!!!!

Jack @Cobi, I heard the drama is airing in December this year. They are still filming.

Black Wow I thought Soo Ae really love Woman with passion character. She want to be president wife too in King of Ambition,. Is it the second time she played with Kim Kang Woo? I remember the two played role in High Society

Cobi Which month is it going to be aired? Can’t wait! Want to see the charismatic and beautiful Korean actress Soo Ae on screen ASAP.

meeks Sounds interesting!!!

Kiya This sounds like High Society, Soo Ae's movie with Park Hae Il. There she tried to make her husband being an assemblyman. Waiting!

Nomnom My favorite!! Sooae! The plot sounds interesting icannot wait!

i love seo woo Yay! a comeback for soo ae!

Daisy This seems to have the vibes of Mask. Only, Soo Ae is a fiercer version of her timid character in Mask.
