Starting New!
I've been using livejournal since 2001, and I've always loved having a place to vent/gush/make friends/freak out. Now, however, I have a ton of new things that I'm trying to correlate, such as planning a wedding, finishing my degree, getting teaching certification, and figuring out where I stand on different issues.
Consequently, I've decided to retire
erised, and start new with this journal. By no means am I planning on deleting my old jounal, seeing as it is the only consistant chronicle I have of all the crazy things that have happened while I was getting here. A lot of people scoff at online journalling, but recently I tried to go back and reread all my old entries, and I was captivated for the two days it took me to get through it all. You can edit your own nerdiness in your mind, but livejournal entires don't lie. :)
I hope to fill this new journal with not only boring updates about my own life, but my own amature takes on even more boring things like the media, politics, and movies. Ben paitently listens to my passenger-seat-rants, but I think I'll open it up to a larger audience to give him a break. I friended people from my old friends list who I thought still use livejournal or who might be interested, but I know I missed important people. Please feel free to friend me and I'll friend you right back.
