Hello and Welcome to The Artist's Garden. This is a small project that I hope will have wonderful and lasting effects from many years to come...

Having had a lot on my mind with the passing of my sweet little kitty Paige, that occurred at the same time as my traveling to Port Townsend, to meet and teach many wonderful people, I came up with- what I think, is a charming idea and lasting project.

I want to create a living garden of seeds from all of the people I have met over the years. Each person can represent themselves with a flower, a vegetable, a fruit, an herb, a bulb, or anything the can be planted in the ground or in a pot. Each season when these little seeds bloom, I can be reminded of the people who inspire me and in exchange, you can be reminded of me. This way, you are never truly far away - and will be with me from season to season.

Here’s how it is done:
In this exchange, I will send you some seedlings that I think bests represent who I am. In exchange, send me something that best matches you. Include your name, screen name if you have one, and just a little written passage about yourself. Send me an email with your address to: artistsgarden@wynnstudio.com

My mailing address is:
WYNNSTUDIO
P.O. Box 43069

(Do not feel as if you have to justify yourself as a professional artist at all- if you are a CREATIVE MINDED PERSON You are MORE than welcome to participate!)

Please feel more than free to join in with other artists and exchange seeds with each other! As more and more people join in, these exchanges will begin to grow and pretty soon, each of you will have a garden with friends who are never farther than your own backyard...

I will be keeping a daily journal here with lots of photos for you to enjoy.
Oh, and YES! Do post photos of what you are growing too… visual imagery is much appreciated~!

Thank you as always for helping me understand my feelings of loss, I think Paige would be pleased.
