It's been forever
How to get me to come back to LJ: Get into a pretty much unknown fandom.
How to be disappointed by LJ: There's not even a community here for said small fandom.
Does anyone else remember when LJ was like the place to be when it came for that? Like, if it wasn't on LJ, it really wasn't anywhere.
It's just... amazing to me how people move onto other sites, and as a younger generation gets used to these new ones, older people like myself keep coming back to the old haunts like 'why isn't anyone here?'

Like seriously all these new changes to the layout and shit I don't even. I sorta like it but then again I want to sit here and hiss at everything that's new. I must be getting old.

Work's been... stressful. I lost 4 people last month on my shift alone, lost another one last week just about, and losing two more at the end of the month. And have one to cover. Just ug. Midnights is in trouble and they're trying to save us but at the moment it's just getting hard. And I don't like it. Especially their plans to have no true 'midnight people' but half late night (2-3am) people and then have someone come in for the rest of it. I'm not too pleased about that but I guess I'll have to deal with it.
Life in general is going pretty good I think? Still excited for April and my trip to North Dakota!! By TRAIN. I've always wanted to go on one! I finally will!

ONLY ABOUT A MONTH AWAY UNTIL YOUMA!!! Which is exciting and scary at the same time because....I don't have my cosplay really started yet. I mean, I know my boots will work, I am once again, using my work pants for the pants, but I have a month...
And for those that don't know, because I'm dumb and forget shit all the time, I'm going as Soviet Russia Hetalia style. Fuck. Yes. Things I do have are my hat, flask, gloves, and wig. I still have to style the wig but that can wait still. What I need is to find our ceramic hair straightener to make it all silky. And awesome. But I can do that eventually.
Oh, and I'm planning to do NaNoWriMo again! And once again will be pulling something out of my ass. Because I'm ever so good at it. I just wish that I had more initiative to you know, write the rest of the year too.
In other news, my finger is doing marginally better. Like I can do little things like type with it without it really hurting. It just feels weird. Like a sort of pressure. My nail hasn't fallen off yet either but I'm not surprised. My new one is slowly growing in. Which is frustrating. I want to know what it's going to look like!
And...that's pretty much how everything's going. So how are you all? I really haven't been around much...between tumblr and playing .hack//infection again. So what's up?

1st thing's first, it's my OTP in Hetalia's day~ Russia/Prussia. And that's pretty much all I'm gonna say about it. Mainly because I've got nothing unless I get a fanfic done before work. Which may be possible. Maybe. Depends on how it goes.
Had some family drama come up recently, with my brother who's in Florida. I don't want to really go into the details about it quite yet. It's really been the reason I've been moody or so the past week. And just sorta...trying to forget about it.
In other fun stuff, caught up with the 07 Ghost manga. Although I think the scans for chapters 59-60 were screwed up somewhere. Because they allude to things that happen in chapter 61 that the scans didn't have. I think I just need to suck it up and get the raws of those chapters just to at least look at the pretty art. Even though I won't know what the hell is really going on. I just hope we didn't find more out about Frau because we've been going through the character's back stories lately and that would just crush me if I missed something like that. I'm a huuuge sucker for back stories and finding out more of how the character came to be what they are in the present story.
Also, I'm going to be social today. One of the managers from my store is having a farewell party that I'm somehow going to. I usually just opt out of everything like that since I'm not really close to anyone at this place, but my roommate suckered me into going with the prospect of free food. Which I never turn down really. If there's one thing that will get me out of the house it's the promise of free food~
So, that's pretty much my life right up to this point. Oh, and I did start doing my artslam sketches, but I'm still trying to decide how to upload them since my digital camera is out of commission and of course, the paper I'm using is waaay too big for my scanner. I'm thinking of just taking pictures with my phone but those are such low quality...oh well. I'll figure it out eventually.
And it's the second of June and not one word written for the June novel thing. I'm thinking instead of just writing whatever the fuck I want instead of just one story. I do have the mission insane prompts to still do after all. 195 of them left I believe. I can crank out at least some of the porn ones this month. Because porn is so fucking easy I don't even. XD
So, that's life. Hope ya guys are doing alright and here's hoping I update more than twice a month. I've been lazy.

So, that's work. Otherwise, been kinda active and talking to people on Plurk...which I haven't done in too long of time. So I guess that's good. Been doodling with my tablet and haven't really been coming up with anything, which isn't surprising. Been playing a lot of Pokemon too, and got the Game Stop Celebi that apparently gives you a Pokemon in Black and White, like the other Pokemon that have been released. Which is cool because it's now my strongest Pokemon on my Diamond at level 50, which is awesome because that means I'm gonna kick some ass!
Also, finally caught up on all the episodes of Star Driver, which I have an OT3 for... Not sure if that's a good or bad thing as of yet. In other anime news, been rewatching Zoids: Fuzors because I love my giant robots. Especially giant robots that are KICK ASS.
In other news, my screen now has 50 bagillion Prussia and 2 Russia wandering around. Aka-my screen has overloaded with AWESOME. Have a screencap from before it got out of control...

Errr. Hi...
It's been awhile and for once, I'm not "OMFG DEPRESSED" or "OMFG RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE" and just sort of...pleasant to say the least. Also, need to get more icons. :/ I went through my photobucket and figured that I don't have enough of my current fandoms. At all. I need to fix that and get more GW ones...because I never have enough GW icons. never.
In other news, the car's fixed. YES. Sorta. The back tire still has a "flat" but I think all of them just need some air in them, since I don't remember when the last time we put air into the tires. Oh, and who else remembers when air at gas stations were free and not a damn quarter? You used to just hit a button and get air but now it's like....you have to pay for it. Sometimes I think I should just invest in a bike pump and get air that way. It sure as hell wouldn't hurt and it would pay for itself eventually.
Also was able to access my desktop from my laptop again. I took the password off back in October since my roommate's mom was cat-sitting for us that weekend and it was in case she just wanted to use the computer...and I never turned it back on until like...yesterday. So now I have all my music back instead of just what I have on my laptop. Which means I found some songs that I forgot I downloaded/missed over the past few months. Like all my Lemon Demon. X3
Oh! And I finally ordered/received/reading and enjoying Hitler Victorious, which is a book I've been wanting to read since like, high school. It's about if the Axis won WWII and what would happen to Europe/America in 11 short stories. It's actually pretty interesting so far, that an I love alt history stories. It did make my roommates raise their eyebrows at me though and said that I was too obsessed with Hetalia like that was the reason that I bought the book...which really isn't.... Oh well.
That's pretty much it. Been going through Lucky Dog 1 and...getting a lot of game overs. I'm kinda surprised that I can't even seem to find a Japanese play through guide to like...have badly translated due to GoogleTranslate not being the greatest thing in the world to use... I just want some of the good endings instead of all the game overs, although I am proud of myself. Only got the main character raped once so...that should count worth something. I think. I hope.
