- Valuable professional development courses
- 2½ days of scientific presentations
- Exhibits showcasing the latest agricultural biosafety, biosecurity, and biocontainment products and services
- Network with professionals from the biosafety, biosecurity, and scientific research industries, organizations, and agencies
Approximately 200 attendees representing a broad spectrum of biosafety and biosecurity, pharmaceutical, biotechnology research, development, and clinical organizations are expected to attend. The symposium draws national and international attendees from academic, commercial, research, and governmental sectors.
My favorite were the applied biosafety research sessions. These are directly relevant to my day-to-day and applied biosafety research has not gotten enough support and attention as a scientific discipline.
I was very pleased with the entire symposium! The topics were relevant and I learned much that I will apply in my own risk assessments and evaluations.
The applied biosafety sessions were very interesting, as well as the one health. It expanded my knowledge on what was currently active as well as a broader perspective on the importance of our work outside our own microcosms.
This was one of the best symposiums I have ever attended!
I enjoyed the round table discussions best. The interactions and different perspectives and discussions were most useful.
I now understand the complementary regulations for animal select agents and can apply them as needed. I also have a greater appreciation for the LAI risks and potential reporting solutions.
The diversity of topics and perspectives within ag biosafety throughout the symposium was why I got a lot out of it.
Outstanding symposium! This is the best conference I have attended recently. Good topics and a perfect size for networking to occur.
I thought this was time very well spent and one of the best conferences I have attended in a while (it ranks up there with AVMA and USAHA/AAVLD) . The conference was well run and had excellent speakers covering timely and important topics. The sessions were very helpful for the work I do. Thank you!
