JDrama/Movie Master List
Jan. 5th, 2020 11:11 pmThis is just a list of all the Jdrama's I've watched, compiled all in one place, in case I forget which one's I've seen. It's not a lot, and there are only Kame and Yamapi dramas, but once I get through those I'm sure I'll expand my drama watching onto other actors/actresses.

Writer's Block: Frozen delights
Nov. 29th, 2011 10:42 pmMint Chocolate Chip, preferably from Baskin-Robbins. I like it from Baskin-Robbin's because the chocolate chips are shaven rather than whole pieces, and the pieces melt nicely so I get a good blending of the chocolate and mint instead of just chocolate flavor when I bite into the chips.[Error: unknown template qotd]

That's the end of my review, sorry it took so long to finally finish. I watched Okuribito (which was a beautiful film!) and rewatched my copy of Harry Potter 7 Pt 2 last night because it came out yesterday, so that consumed part of my time ^^

Zenkai Girl Drama Review Pt. 1

miyamapi, so thank you dear <3 2) This is the first drama I have ever seen Ryo in. 3) There will be spoilers, so be forewarned. I don’t really get too specific about anything, but it might spoil the storyline anyways.

Nov. 8th, 2011 10:39 pmI'm sure most of you have already heard, but Pi will be having a new drama starting in January *bounces around* What a great birthday present for me~! (My birthday is in January.) The story sounds a bit unusual, but interesting nonetheless! And so dark, too! I wonder what type of character Pi will be playing? It sounds like another "cool" character, but I really don't know.

Well, at least I have Kame's drama to watch to keep me satisfied until Pi's comes out. Youkai Ningen Bemu has been great so far! Although I have noticed Kame getting too skinny again :/
Also, tomorrow I'm planning to write a review for Zenkai Girl, so look forward to that!

Iron Man, no question about it. I love Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark, he's interesting and funny as hell :). He plays the part brilliantly and the humor makes the movie fun to watch. And I love how John Favreau incorporated technology into the story, it's really cool.

HAMMER SESSION! は終了！！
Jul. 13th, 2011 11:56 pmGeez I've been breezing through dramas VERY quickly this summer.... I've gone through 6 dramas in about 2 months, and I'm on episode 2 of Supuri, which I just started today (although I haven't taking a liking to it yet, which is pretty unusual). I also have now officially finished Rebound since ep. 10 Subs are out (even though I already watched the RAW of it)! Great ending, even though I had many issues with this drama and I hated seeing Moko-kun so angry all the time (it doesn't suite him at all). But, that's not really what this post is about! This post is suppose to be focused on a drama I just finished yesterday, and it's now one of my favorites!

Anyway tl;dr: Great drama, I highly recommend watching it. Just a warning, though, the last 2 eps haven't been subbed yet- I've been looking all over the Web for 10 & 11 subbed, and the closest I've gotten was a crappy translation of 10 and 10&11 streams uploaded to some Vikii site that doesn't work (I'm not sure if it was subbed or not, or if there are alternate ways to even download them) but I've had no luck so far :( . Despite that, though, I did finish watching it in RAW form.

Writer's Block: Collect 'em all

I collect teacups, panda stuff (figurines and other things), a little bit of Tigger (from Winnie the Pooh) merchandise, a little bit of Dolphin and Butterfly stuff, and Japanese stuff. I also have a Penny Press booklet. Most of my collection was started because of my mom- for my birthday or Christmas she'd buy me collectible figures of things she knows I like, such as pandas or Tigger. My mother has lots of collections herself (she collects lighthouses, Texas memorabilia, spoons, honeypots, Snow White, she use to collect Bennie Babies, and she has the largest collection of Winnie the Pooh stuff probably in the world), so she sort of started collecting things for me as well :)

LOL, Friday the 13th post
May. 13th, 2011 02:51 pmWell, this post is a little late, but I wanted to say I passed my BtW driving test on Monday!! I only was docked a point (you're allowed to miss up to 15 before you fail), so I now I am a legal driver d(^O^)b I'm just waiting for my license to arrive in the mail~ But, surprisingly, I wasn't allowed to take a picture! I asked the lady at the DMV, and she just told me that the picture on my permit was the one that was going to be on my license! I was sooo disappointed- if I would have known that, I would have made an effort to look better for my permit picture (u___u)
But, on to something a bit more exciting and relevant to LJ! I found another meme-thingy on tumblr here, and I am excited to do it~ I know this is suppose to be broken up into days, but I'm going to be busy this weekend (I've got a dinner with my family to celebrate my brother getting his Eagle Award and I'm getting a hair cut [both tomorrow], and I'm not sure what's going on on Sunday). So to be safe (and because I'm probably going to forget about doing this), I am just going to do all of the questions at once because I can :p (Also, to those that see my boring updates, I'm truly sorry you have to see all these memes if you aren't interested in them at all).

If I won a trip anywhere, I definitely would go back to Japan. I went in '08, and stayed with a host family before on Kyuushu, so I'd like to see Tokyo. The only part I saw before was Narita Airport, so I want to spend some time in the actual city. Also, I know a bit more Japanese since my last visit, and would love to test it out! Plus, I'd really love to see my host family again, and it wouldn't be very hard to arrange a meeting to meet up with them again :)
