Also known as Alpha Aries (α Ari). The brightest star in the constellation Aries; the constellation's first horn; The brightest star when people first studied the night sky where the equinox had placed Aries at the start of spring. (Wikipedia)
This is finally finished after I abandoned it in 2009. There just isn't enough free hours in a day for me to do everything I want to do. Parts of this was completed within the last few weeks, i.e. after a 2-year lull, so I apologise if my rusty writing skillz is showing.
Title: Next Step Type: 5-times Words: 100, 200, 300, 200 and 100 (because I like to torture myself with word limits.) Pairing: Eric/Ryan (HardyBoys) Warnings: Varying levels of slash. Don't like don't read. Spoilers for season 7 episode 14 (Smoke Gets in Your CSI's). Rating: PG-13 Disclaimer: CBS, Anthony E. Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn and Ann Donahue own CSI:Miami. I don't. Summary: The four times it was noticed, and the one time no one did. Beta: -
Wow, this was like, thought up in the middle of my shower and typed out in less than 20 minutes. I don't think this is worthy of public consumption and I am ashamed I've even typed it out at all. After more than a month of dealing with RL and Lord Procrastination, it is finally posted. I hereby sincerely apologise for fanfiction fail.
Title: Next Step Type: One-shot Words: 300 Pairing: Eric/Ryan (HardyBoys) Warnings: Possible slash; squint and turn your head 23 degrees to the left to see it. Don't like don't read. Spoilers for season 8 episode 5 (Bad Seed). Dialogue-fic. Rating: PG Disclaimer: CBS, Anthony E. Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn and Ann Donahue own CSI:Miami. I don't (sadly). Summary: There was one last thing he needed to do before leaving the past behind. Beta: - Special thanks to lausi_gm for test-reading this and giving me the confidence (yet again :D) to post things up. *HUGS!*
Between crazy university schedule and (gradually more) tiresome and annoying work (and my best friend, Procrastination), I haven't much time to write. But after forgetting about my hatred for Twitter for two seconds and stupidly succumbing to my curiosity, I have a Twitter account and I've found that it's actually pretty okay for facilitating super short fictions. And it helps with my writing problem ala Purple Prose (don't wanna end up another Stephanie Meyer, you see, that epic wreck of a so-called author). So here they are, my 20 tweetfics to date!
Fandom: CSI: Miami Pairing/Character: Eric/Ryan (HardyBoys), Ryan Warnings: Slash and spoilers of varying degrees. Don't like, don't click, don't read. Rating: Nothing above PG Disclaimer: CBS, Anthony E. Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn and Ann Donahue own CSI:Miami. I don't. Beta: -
Fandom: Glee Pairing: Artie/Tina Warnings: Subtle spoilers for season 1 episode 'Wheels' (and het!). Don't like, don't click, don't read. Rating: Almost Gen Disclaimer: Fox, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and its producers own Glee. I don't. I wish I lived in it, though. Beta: -
Fandom: Merlin Pairing/Characters: Arthur/Merlin, Arthur, Merlin, Mordred Warnings: Slash and spoilers of varying degrees. Don't like, don't click, don't read. Rating: Nothing above PG Disclaimer: Shine, BBC, Julian Jones, Jake Michie, Johnny Capps, Julian Murphy and its producers own the show. I don't. I'm just thankful for pretty British boys (and King Giles!). Beta: -
Fandom: Merlin RPF/S Pairing/Characters: Bradley/Colin, Anthony Head Warnings: Slash hints. Don't like, don't click, don't read. Rating: Nothing above PG Disclaimer: Bradley James, Colin Morgan and Anthony Head are their own persons. This is a purely fictional take on them and is no representation of the actors in reality. Beta: -
Fandom: Torchwood Pairing/Characters: Jack/Ianto, Gwen Warnings: Mentions of slash. This is Torchwood we're talking about. Spoilers for series 2 episode 9 and CoE episode 4. Don't like, don't click, don't read. Rating: PG Disclaimer: BBC and Russell T Davies own Torchwood. I don't. I wish I do so I can retcon Children of Earth. Beta: -
This fanfiction is a sequel to Fashion Prevention so there will be little references to it.
The badly colour-coordinated tee-shirt my mother bought me actually inspired this fic before FR. Random info!
Title: Fashion Revelation Type: One-shot (sequel) Words: 610 Pairing: Eric/Ryan (HardyBoys) Warnings: Mild slash. Don't like, don't read. Spoilers only for Ryan-related wardrobe disasters. Rating: PG-13 Disclaimer: CBS, Anthony E. Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn and Ann Donahue own CSI:Miami. Santa must have lost my letter this year. Summary: Some things just can't be explained any better. Beta: -
The inspiration for this fanfiction came from a badly colour-coordinated tee-shirt my mother bought me couple of weeks ago. Automatically, I thought of Ryan and his weird wardrobe choices since season6. I'm such a fangirl. Plus, I needed something cheerful after reading all the other angsty stuff that are floating around lately.
Title: Fashion Prevention Type: One-shot Words: 470 Pairing: Eric/Ryan (HardyBoys) Warnings: Slashy hints. Don't like, don't read. Spoilers only for Ryan-related wardrobe disasters. Rating: PG-13 Disclaimer: CBS, Anthony E. Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn and Ann Donahue own CSI:Miami. Sadly, I don't. Summary: Ryan, this is an intervention – uh, prevention. Beta: - Special thanks to lausi_gm for test-reading this and giving me the confidence to post this up. I am never asking WY to test-read my fanfics again. Ever.
I think I'm biased towards Toshiko simply because I'm also Asian. There was just so much emotion in this scene even when she wasn't talking, and I hope my fic has done it and her justice.
Title: All Will Be Right Type: One-shot (droubble) Words: 200 Character(s): Toshiko, team Torchwood 3 Warnings: Character death. Huge spoiler for Series 2 episode 13. Don't like, don't read. Rating: Gen Disclaimer: BBC and Russell T Davies own Torchwood. I don't. Summary: Toshiko knows. And she is rarely wrong. Beta: -
I'm a Jack/Ianto fangirl at heart, right from the start, even before I started watching Torchwood. For some reason, my mind never stopped picking up bits of slash even if it might not have been implied. Although, this little scene seemed pretty implied to me.
Title: The Last Person Type: One-shot Words: 100 Pairing: Jack/Ianto, tiny mention of Lisa Warnings: Slashy hints and mentions of canon m/m lip-contact. Don't like, don't read. Spoilers for Series 1, episodes 4 and 6. Rating: PG-13 Disclaimer: BBC and Russell T Davies own Torchwood. Sadly, no matter how many tantrums I throw, it will never be mine. Summary: Ianto could not remember. Beta: -
One day, out of the blue, I thought, "What if after the few mistakes we've seen on-screen..." And this fanfiction was thus created. Although this is quite late already, seeing as I've finished watching Season6 and still, here I am writing about Season5. Ah, well.
Title: Back on Track Type: One-shot Words: 360 Pairing: Eric/Ryan (HardyBoys) Warnings: Slashy hints. Don't like, don't read. Minor spoilers for Season 5, episodes 14 to 16 and 18. Rating: PG-13 Disclaimer: CBS, Anthony E. Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn and Ann Donahue own CSI:Miami. Sadly, I don't. Summary: Eric Delko's stubborn determination was not the only thing that kept him away from more screw-ups. Beta: -
