• So I came home early from work on Friday because my migraine worsened, instead of getting better. I gave myself until lunch to see how it felt, and told my sup this. It didn't get better and, in fact, got worse, so home I went. And slept like the dead for like 4 hours, after which I was quite groggy, but feeling better. The migraine's been pretty much gone all weekend, which is a good thing.
  
  
• Yesterday, while surfing the TiVo to find something to watch, it showed Sarah, Plain and Tall. I saw Sarah Palin's Tall. WTF is that about? Tho' it did make shatterpath laugh and add it to her Twitter, so...
  
  
• On the writing front... For my challenge this month, I'm at 9/10 days with something written. I haven't gotten to today yet, but that will be after this update is done.
  
  
  
  
  6061 / 15500 words. 39% done!
  And yes, I AM proud of that total. There have been 2 days with less than 500 words, but 7 days over that amount. And I've managed to get through 6 of the prompts y'all have given me. If you happen to have more prompt ideas to give me, please feel free to add them to my collection either on LJ or DW. I've actually written 2 Leverage pieces out of the prompts, specifically the superpowers & spiritual rebirth prompts from seftiri, one each from Parker and Sophie's POVs. I really hadn't planned on multiple Parker/Sophie stories. I've also completed the Lwaxana & Bev 5 things prompt from elmyraemilie and a trio of LWM prompts from ct and shatterpath. I'm gonna need betas for all of them, if y'all want to read them. Leave me a comment if you're interested...
  
  
• I'd planned on cleaning up my desk area this weekend. Yeah, that didn't really happen. I got a little work done, but nothing major to write home about, so to speak. *shrugs* I'll get ti done before NaNo, that's for damned sure.

• Today is National Coming Out Day. What's left of it. So I decided to do this little quizzity-memeity thing that I saw on layla_aaron's LJ recently. I've done this before... And I'm not exactly surprised by this, but there's actually a bit more hetero than I'd guessed. Interesting... I guess all that het pr0n I keep finding is what skewed it. *smirks*
  
  
  
  
• It looks like Papi may not be with us much longer. He's been pretty listless lately, not eating much, and shatterpath said there were a lot of big scales in among the gravel when she did the last tank cleaning. Plus? His left eye is almost totally clouded over. The right one still has just the one spot in the middle, but the left one is all filmy white. I'll be bummed if he passes away, but we've had him for a while now and we don't even know how old he was before we got him via Freecycle/Craigslist.
  
  
• And last but not least... shatterpath has posted up an updated version of her big Wicked saga, including a new epilogue to end the 2 story series, over here. Actually, I posted it up for her and did all of the bloody coding on that beastie! so she could work on the house and stuff. It's a fantastic story, and probably still one of my favorite things she's written... I'm not sure if I've told her that, but I suppose I should, eh? *smirks*
  
  
• And last, but certainly not least... I am participating in Blog Action Day again this year. I'm still not quite sure what I'm going to post yet, but I've tried to do this the last couple of years, with varying success...
