I post my supernatural fic over at my site at Archive of Our Own, and not here. So this is a notice that I've posted a 300-word piece over there called "Twice Twenty-Five," which is about the fact that Sam's 25th birthday occurred twice. It's for the ohsam H/C celebration of Sam Winchester's birthday.

I apologize to anyone who still cares about my Buffy fic. I do have sequels to "If the Phones Does Ring, You'll Know it's Bad News" and "All The Difference," that I still work on from time to time, and I really do want to finish them one day. Apparently I'm a lot better at short fluff, or even short despair, than I am at actual plot. The annoying thing is that I know how both of the sequels end, but I'm having trouble getting there at the correct pace -- slow enough for satisfying plot development, fast enough to not put anyone to sleep.

So, in case you were wondering, I'm not dead yet. :-)

Okay, so I fail. I wrote a long song and dance about why I fail, but then erased it. As my mother says 'Fine words butter no parsnips.' No, really, she says that. This will have to be a first story in a series. Part two coming to my live journal soon.

Also, I've started a bingo card and am using this towards one of the squares. I'll say which one at the end, because it could be considered a spoiler.

Also, con crit always welcome. I'd especially like to hear about it if I've committed any 'Americanisms.'

Sorry to get only one chapter up today. The original plot had a small whole in it that bugged me more and more as I worked on this. This morning a whole new (better I hope) direction for the plot occurred to me, and I'm reworking everything I've written. Those of you paying attention will also notice that there has been some tweaking of the pairings for this fic. There will be either 6 or 7 chapters in total. My next posting day is July 2.

I'm finally working less insane hours at work, and I'm trying to motivate myself to write more. I've signed up for summer_of_giles and my first posting date is in 9 days. I'm working on a couple different stories because I'm not sure which one I'll be able to finish.

I also signed up for hc_bingo. My card is under the cut below. I think the story that follows "If the phone don't ring you'll know it's me" and "If the phone does ring you'll know it's bad news" would counts towards invisibility. Xander is definitely invisible, but it's not what I normally think of when I think of invisibility. I mean, it's not a super-power. Anyway, all the more reason to work on that story (working title used to be "Crossed Wires," but is now "Failure to Communicate")

I have begun to write the occasional short supernatural fanfic. I haven't posted them here yet because anyone who has friended this journal did so for the buffy fic and I'm not sure you all would be interested in the other (besides, they're gen, not slash). If anyone is interested, though, I'm posting them in my AO3 account. Someday I will be a good do-bee and get all my fic posted both here and there.

I think it is really cool that LJ is doing this. I've sent my donation directly to planned parenthood, so I get the tax deduction. But I'm putting this on my journal to show my support.
