1. we went to an estate sale off of Brush Creek Road. The woman was a big collector. I got mostly books. One of which was The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.
2. took Tickle out for a long sunning and feeding. We played the Tickle Game. see June 23
3. Jim made ribs and salad for dinner.
4. I did a little cleaning
5. watch Van Helsing again

1. I had a sour stomach when I woke up. It was from drinking last night
2. Jim came home about 1pm from his camping trip. we went to the Cantina for lunch
3. bought Wicked at Treehorn Used Books downtown
4. I let Boris, Little Guy and Natasha out in the yard for a while. Little Guy had the better time. Boris was a pain because he kept going were he shouldn't go. I finally confined him to the lawn enclosure.
5. watched Deadwood

Just played and listed on my Last.fm

2. I made us breakfast
3. posted to 43 Things and my permanent journal
4. planted basil
5. we spent a few hours in Berkeley. Peet's Coffee, the Love at First Bite Bakery for cupcakes, and Black Oak Books

1. took turtles outside. made salads for tortoises.
2. watched Veronica Mars at dinner in a conference room
3. listened to Janeane Garofalo on Air America Radio
4. made entries in my permanent journal
5. look at a lot of flickr. found the cutest turtle pics.

The shows I still miss:
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer ~of course~

- Joan of Arcadia (those bastards)

- L.A. Doctors (1998)

- Bakersfield, P.D. (1993) starring Ron Eldard and Giancarlo Esposito. Fox just kills the best shows.

- Nothing Sacred (1998) This show made me feel like a rainy day with a good book. Kind of sweet melancholy. The religious nut jobs attacked it and it never found an audience. I knew it was on it's way out when they started showing John Denver CD ads. My favorite episode was "Mixed Blessings". Where a very sad and bitter widower played by Barry Corbin (Maurice - of Northern Exposure) sang Ave Maria at his wife's funeral.

1. went to the gym. 40 minute on the treadmill
2. read Take the Cannoli by Sarah Vowell
3. Watched the last two episodes of Six Feet Under that I hadn't seen. Ironically, the last unseen episode was Nate dying
4. I took Jim out to Chili's for dinner. we stopped by Border's and Copperfield bookstores afterwords. Jim doesn't like Borders new purchase "club". too much like spying.
5. There was no sun today and now it is raining. I took Boris out even though it was cloudy. Boris was antsy and wanted out.
