| This was something different for me to do, and when I first decided on this video, I had a completely different direction in mind. But I stopped worrying about direction and just went with it, and this is what happened. I really love it, and I love the fact that it still gives me goosebumps when I re-watch it. I never expected to love the Eleventh Doctor as much as I do, but that's what made this such a joy and delight to edit. He has a bright, spirited life about him, and that's what I tried to capture here. For katernater of course. <3<3<3elevensies! |

I can wholly blame Kate for this, and Matt Smith for his amazing ability to make me laugh no matter what mood I'm in. This video is one of those cute, adorable, fun ideas that popped up in my head when I was listening to an old mix CD in my car. It's sweet and puts me in a good mood! Music Video / Skullcrusher Mountain

| Was this ever fun! I've been hoping to get the chance at some point to collaborate with katernater on a video project. We've talked about it in the past but we just never had the time to get together on it, but over the past few weeks time treated us differently, and this is the amazing, wonderful result. Kate never hesitates to send me songs that she finds fitting for one of our pairings of kids (we're up to four now!) and now that we've adopted Ben and Juliet (sorry, Kendra, you'll have to forgive me - I'm just drawn to it!) she's sent me a couple that are insanely perfect. But this song in particular got the wheels turning, especially when Kate told me she thought it would make a perfect video. To make a long story short, one day I had some time before work and put together the beginning part (up through the first chorus or so), sent it to Kate, and was rewarded with a prompt, giggly phone call of approval. I asked her to let me know what she thought the rest of it should be like, and she sent me her notes and thoughts which I in turn made happen. It had to sit for a little while because I needed some time to sort through things, but I finished it up last night and now that it's met her seal of approval, we think it's time to share it with the world! My gratitude goes (of course!) to my dear katernater for not only coaxing me further into LOST but for being there to encourage me when things are down, and to ticcyyy and effulgent_girl for feeding my obsession with the island and all of its inhabitants. I promise that soon, I will finish season five!Comments are welcome - we would love them! - and we hope you enjoy it! |
