i wish we could like posts here like on facebook. i still read this on a regular basis but there's no record of it. anyway, hi, guys.

nothing.

went to Loblaws.

exchanged a joe fresh style cardigan for a pair of jean bermudas of the same value.

then managed to spend $71.88.

i got lots of stuff though.
discounted easter chocolate! (bought mini-eggs to make these)
peeps! (44 cents, how could i resist?)
joe fresh nail stuff! (buffing 4-side nail file thing and cuticle pusher)
discounted scented sachets!
a cheap shower curtain! (the current one holds from like 3 holes, t'was about time)
a scale! (gahhhh... the first one i've ever bought. scales are my nemesis (nemesi?))
and various food items. like fresh salmon. and asparagus. yum.

nothing. was sick. mostly stayed in bed. boo. happy easter?

• elf kabuki brush: $7.99

• hazo rose peony herbal tea: $7.00
• tea leaf perfume: $6

(yeah, i know the elf products are usually cheaper... but it's the first time i've seen them in canada and i've read good things about the hd powder (and i've been looking for a cheap kabuki brush).)

nothing.

i returned a pair of shoes and got another one instead, so i actually got $10.62 back.

bought a pint of beer and a cornet de frites at les brasseurs du temps, this cool microbrewery in the Outaouais region. $15.78

still can't believe it. got the boxy beast this week.

i've entered a contest : to put it shortly, nissan is giving away 50 cubes (yes, 50 actual cars) to canadians. i've been chosen as one of the 500 finalists, and now i have to get people to vote for me! i've been doing quite well so far, as of right now i'm rated 32rd, but i need more votes!

the contest aims to find 50 creative, enthousiast, original canadians... and i'm pretty sure i can be one of them!
