WORKING Graphic designer, currently unemployed and mighty pissed off about it

LAYOUT Started off with my printed portfolio, which I designed with the same paper textures and gumleaf-in-inkwell as you see here, then extended that to business cards, an online portfolio, and inevitably to bloogum and the rest of my sites. The bloogum quill was designed to be my logo: I write fantasy, hence the quill and inkwell motif; I love my Derwents, hence the pencil look; I love feathers and flying, hence the feather motif; I live in the Adelaide Hills, hence the gumleaf. This is about as me as it gets. I love working with negative space, something which is increasingly difficult when you have to make layouts fit both a massive desktop screen and a piddly mobile phone screen.
