IF YOU HAVE ADDED ME TO YOUR FRIENDS LIST, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT HERE! I'm really bad at checking my friends list on my userinfo, and if you don't leave a comment here, it will take me weeks to see that you have friended me.
Also, if you could leave a comment as to WHY you are friending me, and a little bit about yourself (assuming that I don't know you from other places 'round the net), that would be cool.
Thank you.
If you are looking for my BPAL swap/sale/wishlist, it is under the cut; feel free to make an offer on any of these if you think the prices are too high.
Shipping is $2 within the US; for internationals, please comment or PM me and I will get you an estimate. I have very positive feedback on the forum here. I take all kinds of PayPal, but if you have CC-Paypal, I may ask you to throw in 50 cents or so to cover fees.
You all need to listen to Rufus Wainwright. Seriously, the man is so fucking brilliant I can't even phase it. SO. FUCKING. AWESOME.
Anyway, this song (from his latest album) is now my unofficial theme song (especially the "Not that I have that much to offer" line).
Harvester Of Hearts
If a person should ever like a person Then a person should like you Being that I'm only just a person What would you do? If a person should ever like a person Then a person should like me Being that you're only just a person It must be Still I find it hard to get an answer From the harvester of hearts Always find it hard to get an answer From the harvester of hearts If a person should ever like a person How funny that would be If a person should ever like me Not that I have that much to offer God knows I have so much to gain From the harvester of hearts From the harvester of pain If a person should ever like a person Then a person should be free Free to like whomever that they want to Even though it ain't me Not that I have much to offer God knows I have so much to gain From the harvester of hearts From the harvester of pain
1. Had to go to Open House on Wednesday, thereby missing Geology again. Not my fault. I manned the Parent Volunteer Sign-Up table whilst dumb Sophomores from Leadership stood nearby and chatted the whole fucking time (even though they were supposed to be helping out). If this is how it is in real life, reincarnate me as a bird or something, please.
2. Stayed until around 9:00 PM last night with Victor doing tech stuff. Hey everyone who left early--FUCK YOU. The painting of the sign and stage sweeping could've been DONE in fifteen minutes if everyone else hadn't left. It took me, Victor and Ron an additional 45 minutes to get everything done.
3. JC tech run went well, although our backstage crew was still learning the cues and such. I think we did pretty good--now that we know where things go and when, it should be even better today. I could do without Patricia and Alex screaming at each other, though. Tiresome.
4. "Fired" by Ben Folds is a great song to listen to when you're pissed off.
This week's lesson: PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE SOME FUCKING RESPONSIBILITY. Jesus Christ
Had a fantastic time last night, thanks to my friends! Yay for Chevys! Yay for me being such a glutton!
Oh, and thanks for putting up with the fact that I MADE you all watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 when we all went back to my house. Finding a big-ass spider in my pool and showing off the wee ones (my dogs) were also highlights.
Thank you Shadhy, Kristen, John, Gitta, Ruthie, JChe, Alexblakey and CoRri for a fantastic evening! <3
BTW, thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, both online and in real life. It means a lot to me, so...*squee*
