It's been almost 2 years since I have had a girlfriend, or dated anyone on a serious level, until now!

It was totally unexpected, but I met the most amazing woman a little over a month ago at my pole studio. My BFF introduced us and I am so glad she did. I feel like everything is just going very well. Her name is Maria and she is in the process of getting her Ph.D, owns her own fitness gym, and is fluent in 3 different languages. Oh, and she's super fucking HOT!

I'm just so excited, I had to share :o)

About 2 weekends ago I performed at a local fetish boutique's annual Extravagasm, Fantasy Ball. I did 2 pole numbers and an aerial hoop routine. It was a ton of fun, but the kink/ fetish community here in town seems to be 50+ in age, and/or super creepy! It sucks! Where's all the hotties?! Fucking L.A.?

What happened to my photography plans?! I have one semester left in school, starting in January, and I was wanting to use my semester off to work on photos. Instead I'm still working at Bobalu's and Brass Ovaries has exploded! Now, all of my time on the computer is making flyers, posters, and business cards for the group. It's a little crazy! Fun, but crazy!

I have been teaching with Brass Ovaries about 2 years now and my best friend has now totally turned into my full time boss. Crappy! We never get to hang out anymore, and when we do see each other it's for business stuff.  Bew! It makes me sad...



But enough with that! Here's a sort-of self portrait of me and Mary Kay.

My mom and I went to Las Vegas Monday morning and started playing games as soon as we unpacked our shit. I didn't have money to gamble with so my mom gave me some to play the slot machines. Well, not even 30 mins into not winning shit I hit a winner!!!! $1,200 to be exact! FUCK YEAH!



Then I realized I wasn't playing with my own money.... damn. My mom said that since I had the lucky finger she's give me a nice cut.. enough for me to buy a roun-trip ticket to Philly next month for a wedding. So that was nice.

Later that evening we went to the Mirage to see the Beatles: LOVE show by Cirque du Soleil. It was AMAZING! I had no idea what to expect, but I was blown away. At one point in the show the whole audience was covered with a white sheet while lights strobed and music played; it was like we were all one one huge acid trip! I totally recommend it if you are even the tiniest Beatles fan.



Day 2 of my trip was just as awesome as the first day. My mom won $900 at the poker table before I even got out of bed! With that we got tickets to see Zumanity, the erotic show from Cirque du Soleil.



As we were walking to New York New York I noticed a girl with amazingly muscular legs and a short blonde hair cut. I got super excited and told my mom that it was Felix Cane (2 time WORLD Champion in Pole Dancing) . I went up to her and introduced myself and told her I was an instructor with Brass Ovaries Pole Dancing in Austin. She gave me a big hug and said she was happy to meet me! I was totally star struck! She then invited me to come hang out after the show was over so I could meet some of the other cast members in Zumanity! Hells yeah!



Unfortunately, when I went to meet up with her, a stage hand came down to tell me that Felix appologizes, but she forgot they have group stretching between shows and she'll have to text me after the 10pm show is over.. Oh well, at least I got to meet her earlier.

She sent me a text message later that night to invite me out to play Wednesday, but that was the day of my departure. So bew to that!



All in all, it was a pretty awesome trip. In all of my trips to Las Vegas, this one was the best. I really enjoyed the Mandalay Bay Hotel and the VIP experience.

My bff just started her own pole dancing business, Brass Ovaries Pole Dancing, and so far she's been doing really well. It's really exciting to see how fast her students are learning.
