Zombies and lime flavored popcorn
I just finished watching Heroes and, wow, what a great episode. I won't go into detail for those on my flist who haven't seen it yet, but, I gotta say, I've never been much of a Sylar fan (I know, BLASPHEMY!) but I really like the direction his story line is taking. I found myself wishing I could skip Claire's pouting and Nathan's scheming and see more of America's favorite serial killer at his sneakiest. I really hope this show continues its climb back to its former glory.
Also, I've discovered the tasty treat that is Orville Redenbacher's Lime and Salt Popcorn. Soooo good. And I hear it's pretty healthy too ;)
I have to give an informative speech in my public speaking class and I want to do it on something interesting and what's more interesting than zombies? I really think the idea will be hard to pitch to my teacher though, since he seems not to really stray from by the book presentations. I thought about either doing an informative speech on how to survive a zombie apocalypse or sybolism in zombie films. The latter seems the likely candidate for him to okay but that causes the problem: What sybolism should I talk about? I thought about comparing it to the alien invasion movies from the 50s but other than that, I've got nothing. Nadda. So if anyone can help me hash out some ideas, I would be much obliged.
