Raves, Rants, and Ramblings

Bred, born, and raised in Delaware, I [was] the 'local yokel' on campus. I graduated from the University of Delaware in Fall of 2004 with a Bachelor's in Music, specializing in Instrumental Music Education with my concentration being in bassoon. I was hired to my first full-time teaching gig in June of 2006 at Caravel Academy, a private K-12 school that's about 20 minutes away from my house. I still live at home with my mother to help take care of her, as she's partially disabled. I also sell Partylite candles part-time to help me financially, as well as gig around on bassoon and contrabassoon with the Newark Symphony Orchestra, the Immaculata Symphony, and the Delaware County Symphony. I have also been recently hired to be the handbell director at my 'home' church. In my spare time, I play with the New Castle County Community Band out of Newport, Delaware, and am a member of the First State Ringers Handbell Choir from Newark. I also work very hard at trying to keep my boyfriend happy.

Interesting tidbits: Owns an African Grey Parrot named Yoda who loves Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls. Loves her turtles Tama and Squirt. Brother is half-wookie.
