Everybody's got something,
They had to leave behind..
One regret from yesterday,
That just seems to grow with time...
She flew through the cosmos, pushing her sensors out as far as possible and Seeking for any trace of the AllSpark cube that Optimus Prime sent into space just days ago, it seemed. Burnstar knew there was no looking back at this point. She had left Cybertron with a heavy Spark and the knowledge that her mate, the mech who held her captivated and had been on her processors constantly, was under the impression that she was deactivated. Crosshair meant more to her than her own life and she had to leave him behind to protect the both of them in the growing war between Autobots and Decepticons. But she couldn't afford to stay with him and bring danger to him.
Stars slipped by as her wings strained against fatigue and the ache in her Spark while she wondered if Crossfire had been safe under Ironhide's care. She trusted the Weapons Master, but sometimes found it hard not to be worried for the young femme and whether she would be safe with Bumblebee, First Aid and Burnout watching over her while Ironhide was gone. She didn't know if her own brother could be trusted to fully help out either. But she had to trust them all.
Woud she ever see any of her loved ones again? Would they recognize her when she did? When would that even happen? She didn't know any of the answers to these and many more questions as she flew in patterns that would confuse any would-be followers.
Time just slipped away from her...
