This is my temporary home,

This is just a stop,
On the way to where I'm going.
I'm not afraid because I know,
This is my temporary home.

She fell from the heights that the Seekers had lifted her to, subconsciously turning so she would face the ground when she landed. The battle was taking more out of her than she'd ever thought possible. She could hear voices in the internal communications network calling her designation but she couldn't respond. The pain that seized her Spark and processors froze her vocalizer as she realized she didn't belong here anymore.

She was the last in her family there. Bumblebee had his own Sparklings to take care of. The only mech she loved had hurt her with how much he was suffering from his twin being in Decepticon hands. She was suffering alongside him but held it all inside.

Just before landing, she realized she wasn't afraid anymore. She wasn't afraid of death, of anything any of the Decepticons could do to her, nothing. She didn't belong here anymore and knew it. She belonged with her family.

As she hit the ground, her systems screamed and a distinct cracking sound filled her audio sensors. She could feel everything breaking in that moment when her body had twisted so she was slightly on her back and slightly on her side. The glass in her frame shattered and cut inward as her pain sensors overloaded from the sheer amount of damage she took. Her systems and processor offlined themselves in an attempt to put her into stasis-lock as she thought she saw Crosshair standing over her.

But her brother wasn't there to save her.
