I still have a few more days to...learn life's lessons, or something, but I don't feel another year wiser. I wonder if I've changed at all? And thank goodness there is more than a week between the 4th and the 13th. Something's bound to go wrong again, but I'll try to be optimistic.

We've got lots to talk about.

Firstly, thank you for being on good behavior while Hibari-san was away for a few days last week. Everything went surprisingly smoothly, at least for HR. If anything came up during that time, you know to go to him or any of the department heads. I expect this week to be uneventful.

However...the wine ban. It was initially imposed because, as you all know, the company-provided wine in the break rooms was being abused. As Ryohei said, we don't want it to become such a problem that there are employees throwing up all over V&A's carpets. We'll make you front the cleaning bills. That said, this is an official warning. Any continued abuse of alcohol at work will result in one additional warning, and then you'll have to deal with Ryohei and I personally.

Also, congratulations to everyone who one something at the Cervello Awards last week. Good job :)

I've heard you've been, as a department, pretty loud lately. As glad as I am to hear that you're able to work out your differences and blow off some stress at the same time, shouting isn't exactly productive to those in the offices around you. Just keep that in mind, Miura-san and Gokudera-san. :)

I...I'm not so sure about this plan of ours. Hibari-san and I are getting along, and I really really don't want to screw that up. Do I have to punch him in the face to get my point across? D:

I don't think Ryohei and I will be doing anything and if we do, hopefully we'll just go out for lunch so you'll have me for the whole evening :)

All said and done, I'm glad Valentine's Day is over. The chocolates this year were not worth the chaos on Friday the 13th.

Now that the fiasco that was Friday the 13th is over, let's try to get back on track. IT has everything back up and running, so no need to worry.

...That said, though, if you accidentally outed something private because of the network chaos and now everyone/the Varia/your fellow employees at V&A know about it...You've sort of brought it upon yourself by posting it at work in the first place. So please, only come to me if you've got serious problems with your fellow employees and not post-Valentine's Day revenge or angst.

Let's have a good week, okay? No one's falling and hurting themselves on the floors anymore, our office supplies are now in supply, and I still don't want to be hearing reports of employees hurting each other.

I'll let you know if anything else comes up in terms of HR, but just try to have a good week, all right?

I hope you're feeling better - though I have to say, it was a stroke of luck that you weren't here on Friday. Your weekend was good, I hope?

Although I have to say, despite the chaos, I did miss you around the office. It's a wonder I get by, sometimes. The people you deal with don't give you as much trouble as the people I deal with give me, do they? (For you sake, I hope not. At least there was lots of chocolate in the office.)

...Have you tried calling Kotegawa-san yet? About your door? I'm kind of worried, you should really get it fixed soon. I know Namimori is relatively safe, but...well, it's relatively safe.

Just a friendly reminder from the HR department before we have to start being unfriendly.

I realize Valentine's Day is coming up, and as a result everyone is either wallowing in self-pity lonely and sarcastic or in the spirit of the holiday, but no matter what your rampaging emotions are leading up to the 14th, don't take them out on other people. HR is busy as it is with the usual, and I do not need any more problems to deal with. So, in light of the holiday, some...guidelines to, hopefully, remove the need for HR to get involved:

1. Keep your hands to yourselves! I don't want any complaints about sexual harassment coming my way. Again. And I don't want to be hearing about fights either!
2. Keep it clean. Security CAN see the websites you visit while you're at your desk. You should all know that by now.
3. Please, no defiling the decorations the cleaning staff has worked hard to put up. No matter how annoying you find them to be.
4. Leave your personal relationships out of the office, if at all possible, for the sake of sanity. HR is here to support you and help you with your problems in V&A, but we're not here for relationship advice. Nor do we want to deal with he-said she-said drama. Suck it up and do your jobs. Please. :)

Valentine's Day and holidays in general are not excuses to avoid doing your job, and they also won't excuse your behavior. Keep that in mind, and just try and hold out until the weekend, at which point you can go crazy with the love, or whatever it is you'll be doing. Everything should be back to normal soon enough.

I know writers are emotional creatures by nature, but this...thank goodness it'll be over soon enough. As if the paperwork didn't give me enough to do.
