Thursday, Kimbari has had a heart attack.
She died.

She was only in her early fifties.
I'm at a loss for words.
It's surreal that she's gone.

Memories of nightly BSG and MM chats, hilarious virtual parties, well-written fic, her honest blogging, fill my thoughts.

I'm glad I got to know her.

I caught myself checking the news, as if expecting an official channel to write about this, since this is Kimbari we are talking about.
Somehow there's nothing there.

Rest in peace, Kim.

I'm reaching the clean-up phase of my first BSG fic and I'm chucking chunks out that, while fun imagining and writing, don't really add as much to the story as I'd initially hoped.
