So yeah, I'm not very active in InuYasha fandom anymore, though I still have a story or two unfinished that in a perfect world I'd find time to complete. But RL is RL. I still keep up w my LJ friends here and there. Feel free to wander around. I still respond to comments. There's still some cool stuff here and once in a while I even post something:)

Hi everyone! I know I haven't been around much, but I HAVE been lurking. Came out of hiding to share this little funny. Part of me wishes I had the energy to sign up and participate.

In the real world, just workin and having fun. Have done some traveling in the last few months, which kept me pretty busy. Hawaii and accompanied my husband to Europe for a week. While he worked I played. Now that they have seamless phone/data to Europe, my clients hardly knew I was gone! Gotta love this newfangled age we live in.

Inu's gonna finish up in anime? Wow. That's big news. How come THIS rumor hasn't been circulating for eons already?

Thanks for half my flist for notifying us that they plan to finish the series on anime (vol 36-56 - question? is that where they left off?)

I think I'm happy about this, though I must say that I expect epic proportion fanwars about canon going forward. We will have a whole series of manga, a separate one of anime - and then there's the fandom canon that gets all confused in the middle. Frankly, I'm not sure I can remember all that canon in the manga so when the anime twists it all up, it will be fun - like being alzheimerish - you get to see it all over again! Along that line I'm really interested to see how the Anime handles the battle of the brothers' swords and the ending - which I found pretty obtuse. The anime always tries to make things more concrete for the non manga patient crowd - esp us Westerners. I can just hear the manga fangirl screams when they try to make it make sense on TV for the broader audience.

*gets popcorn*

I'm ready.

Wow. It's Friday.

Nothing happens Fri nights and for the first time all week there is (relative) silence. Just the cars whizzing by on the road they're about to tear up (finally). I sure wish I had something to say, but about all I can think of is.

Yeah. Boring post, but them's the brain cells that are left sucking on the vino on the back deck. I'll just sit here a little longer and listen for the echoes.
