Whoa, am I running this thing?
So, just checking in to see that people are still interested. Spread the news around, still, because people could sign up late if they want.
Ta for now.

For this round writers will sign up for genre challenges. Writers are not required to pick one specific movie this time around, this is all about genre characteristics (and clichés). The stories written can be anything from serious to ridiculous, using clichés of a genre does not mean the story must be a parody. Feel free to refresh an old plot element! Add a new twist!
While claims this round are not for specific films/books/etc., writers are certainly allowed to follow plots of such as was done in the last wave.
Dates
Sign-up: Until September 1, 2008
Preview event: November 15, 2008
Posting: January 15-31, 2009
Want to stake your claim? The format for commenting is below. The information is very basic. While I hope making a claim means that you’re committing to writing the fic, I won’t fault you for dropping out.
(See example claim post in the first comment.)
alterego_thon This is an AU, inspired by Daniel Clowes's 'Ghost World' (both comic and movie). No hellmouth, everybody's human.Holy cow, is it really 2008? Damn. O____O
Well, since it is the new year, it's time to open up the gates to posting your completed fics! Now don't worry if you're not done. (*cough*like me*cough*) You've got a lot of time. I looked on the group page and was surprised to see I'd said April 1 was the latest due date, but hey, I'm not complaining at the moment. LOL.
So, you're welcome to start posting as you like! To clarify: you are welcome to post to your personal blog/site and here and link from wherever. You're also welcome to link from here to your personal page (since I know there was a concern about posting mature content to LJ). Oh, if you hadn't noticed, I've set the group setting to "some adult material" now that LJ has allowed for some labeling on journals.
Anyway, good luck!
