I made this wallpaper for the Creative Old School Challenge. This is the first time I've really tried using textures on a wide scale I think. I think it turned out pretty well. I know I have a long way to go though.
I made this for the March SD-1.net challenge. It's my first attempt at a real blend with coloring. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, but I've noticed that it makes a huge difference in how it looks depending on the computer I view it on. Strange. ( Collapse )

At this point I think this may be my favorite of the season in terms of mission and what not. It was interesting and it got you thinking and trying to figure out what was going on.
Loved the on going bowling alley thing. That was amusing. I also really like the whole shoot out in the car dealership. I know it's a pain to have to buy a car but I'm definately glad that it real life it's not that hard. After this episode I have decided that Vaughn needs to go back to train in hand to hand combat. Seriously, he's getting beaten up way too much. Syd generally holds her own much longer and Vaughn needs Syd to come and help finish the guy off. (Car dealership and in the house later)
I also was very happy to see a hint of a developing long term plot with Jack and Sloane's discussion of moving up the time frame in terms of something to do with Irena. I'm hoping they don't just leave us hanging with that though like they did with the whole comment last season by the evil NSA guy when he said he knew what Sloane was up to. And to this day we still don't know what he was up to and that was like mid last season. Oh well. Things are looking pretty good for this season.
I was intrigued by IMDB when I saw that Sark and Anna will be back in 2 episodes. I'm very happy about the Sark thing. I miss seeing him from week to week. Anna...we haven't seen here since 1st season. I'm not a huge fan of Anna, but it should be interesting to have her back at least.
I'm so excited. The new season is starting Wednesday! Too bad I'll have to watch it one tape. (I have to wake up waaaay too early). But alas I have yet to finish watching the rest of 3rd season with my brother. I mean I've seen it, but I need a review. I'll probably at least try to watch the finale this weekend.
The commercial on ABC look pretty good. They remind me of all the reasons I love Alias. I'm hoping that being paired with Lost will help get more people watching it.
I've heard that they were going to try to change some things in 4th season from 3rd season to bring us back to the things that we loved about the first two seasons. I'm glad that Lauren is no longer with Vaughn and what not, but the tension is always fun to watch. I'm curious as to how they are goign to deal with that this season.
It's also going to create an intersting new dynamic with Syndey's sister. I'm interested to see how that is going to work.
It's been a long time. I've been way too busy. Here's something I finally got around to whipping up. It was for the SD-1 December bookmark challenge. I'm pretty happy with it. It's the first time that I've actually used my own brush on something and the funny thing is I didn't even mean too. The pics are from jen-garner.net.
I've been desperatly trying to get to watch 3rd season on DVD, but with work and all there just doesn't seem to be any time. Then, of course when I do have time my brother isn't there who wants to watch it too. Maybe we'll just have to watch it on our own. We have until January at least to refresh our memories on the season, but it seems to be coming quicker than I think. I have watched some of J.J. Abrams new show Lost. It's pretty good from what I've seen. I still haven't watched the last episode mainly for the reasons previously stated. If it doesn't get more insteresting soon I'll probably lose intrest and stop watching. We shall see.
Ugh! I really need to go get the season 3 dvd. I think I liked the previous 2 seasons better than this one, but still it's Alias and I must go get it. Plus I mean really it's either that or just keep rewatching 1 and 2 over and over until January. Plus my brother didn't watch any of the begining of the season or the finale.
Okay, I'm pretty sad that I'll have to wait until January to find out what happens next in the Alias saga. In the meantime, I'll probably end up doing way to much speculating on forums and maybe at some point I'll write my reactions to the season finally.
However, at least 3rd season comes out on DVD in September!
