Alias Hush

Welcome to alias_hush!

This is an icon contest, modeled after challenges such hp_hush and lotr_hush where the idea is to make textless icon entries from the posted screencaps each week.

The Contest

[1] Every week I will post 2 blanks and a screencap from seasons 1-3 and a screencap from season 4. You may edit these blanks/caps however you'd like (cropping, adding brushes, color, etc) BUT...NO TEXT is allowed. Hence the "textless" challenge.
[2] You may enter up to 3 icons each week in the regular challenge and one in the S4 challenge. However, you may use only ONE blank/cap PER icon; and may only make ONE icon PER blank/cap. You may not blend two or more caps/blanks together.
[3] You will have from Monday when I post the caps/blanks until the following Friday night (11 PM CST) to post your entries.

Rules

[1] Icons must be textless. This includes tiny/unreadable text and text brushes.
[2] Icons must be within LJ's restrictions - Under 40k and 100x100 or smaller.
[3] Only use ONE blank/cap PER icon. You may not blend two or more caps together.
[4] Use each blank/cap ONLY ONCE. In other words, you are only allowed one entry per blank/cap.
[5] Do not display your icon anywhere until after voting has ended.
[6] Any entries not following the above rules will be disqualified.

Submissions

[1] You must use your own image hosting service, such as photobucket.
[2] Please include your LJ username somewhere in your icon's filename. For example, if I was submitting an icon, I might call it "aliashush-_kalliope-01.jpg".
[3] All entries should be posted as a comment to the indicated challenge post. All comments will be screened to keep entries annonymous.
[4] When submitting, please post both the icon and the url of the icon. In other words, your entry should look like this:

Voting

[1] Voting will take place Saturday - Sunday night (closed @ 9pm CST)
[2] Voting will be done via a poll consisting of five questions: choices for first, second, and third place in the usual challenge; voting for the winner of the S4 challenge; and voting for one of the blanks for the following week.
[3] Poll results will only be viewable by me so as to keep the voting anonymous.
[4] Do not vote for yourself, this will automatically disqualify you.

Awards

[1] Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as the winner of the S4 challenge.
[2] If you do not want a banner, please say so in your entry comment.
[3] The first place winner will then be invited to provide a blank for the following week's contest.
