Amikam Bar-gil, PhD

Chief technology Officer

A pioneer in algal productization, Amikam patented cultivation systems and 1st-in-class products. With a Marie Curie PhD, he drives Algamol’s cultivation science and tech transfer, helping customers de-risk deployments and scale seamlessly from pilot to fleet.

Christos Spanos, CFA

Chief Financial Officer

Christos manages our financial strategy, ensuring efficiency and stability as we scale. A CFA with two decades in asset management and corporate finance. He anchors our growth with EU grant structuring and proven expertise that secures both investor trust and operational resilience.

This initiative aimed to develop innovative biofuels and sustainable energy solutions using microalgae. While the grant was not awarded, Algamol’s involvement in the proposal demonstrated our capacity to contribute to the development of low-carbon energy systems and renewable biofuels.

Our work with top-tier partners in this project has solidified our position as a pioneer in the sustainable bioenergy sector and showcased the scalability and potential of our technology for large-scale applications.
