Today is the "blog-a-thon" for a sweet little 7 month old boy that I've never met named Thomas Bickle. His parents are the friends of my best girl Erin, and they are going through one of the toughest things I think anyone can imagine. Thomas was diagnosed with ependymoma, and the tumor was removed in surgery but the chance that it will grow back is great. He is too small for radiation so he'll be starting chemotherapy soon. Obviously the bills are enormous and the Bickles need all the help they can get. I am writing this entry in the hopes that people will see it here and be encouraged to write a kind word or possibly donate something to help them out, and also just to show my support. Even though I've never met them, their story has touched me and Thomas has been in my thoughts since I first heard about his situation.
