Alan's going to be in Riverworld

Alan will be painted blue again, but more of a guide this time. Riverworld is a very 1970s science fiction trilogy by Philip Jose Farmer,. I found it OK the first time through and completely un-re-readable. But it could be a fabulous mini-series, who knows?
